Suprise!!

I was picking up Kate to take her to the shop today. I really liked her but I didn't really know her. I enjoyed having someone to talk to.

"Where are you going son of a bitch?" My dad slurred

I rolled my eyes I hated him so much soon I'd be rid of him and I'd take my sister with me. My sister Lisa was the only person that I cared for my dad could go to hell and my mother was dead to me. After she left her three year old with a drunk and her older brother I knew then she wasn't my mother no more.

"I don't think that's any of your business Duke why don't you go shove another bottle down your throat and try to forget you have children." I said while walking away. Right before I got to the door a beer bottle was thrown against the wall at my head. I turned around and in a matter of seconds I had him against the wall with my hand around his throat and raised him off the ground. He looked like he sobered up for a second.

"Listen here Duke don't ever and i mean ever threaten me again or you won't live you see to see the next day you understand me old man?" I said through gritted teeth. He nodded and i released him and he slumped down on the floor. I walked out the door and slammed it behind me. I put my helmet on and took off towards opies house.

Later at the shop I was showing Kate how to do minor stuff that I figured everyone needed to know. I'd catch her looking every so often but I didn't mind I'd stare at her too because she was to beautiful not to. I'm glad Jacob and Opie asked me to keep her company. Sometimes I'd catch her frowning and it didn't look right on her. It felt like something bad had happened in the past and I just couldn't put my finger on it. I wasn't really the one to try an stalk about feelings seeing my situation but I wish I could make her smile.

It was my lunch break and I took Kate with me to eat at a spot I found a while back. We stopped on the way at a little pizza shop that my aunt owned. I told Kate to stay on the bike and I'd be right out.

"Jase! It's so good to see you how is Lisa?" My aunt asked as soon as I walked in she handed me my bag.

"She's good she's over at a friend's house. I was just going to take my friend out for lunch so I got to go but we'll talk later okay?" I asked while I hugged her. She nodded her head and I went out side to get going but someone was there it looked like a guy but I couldn't tell. I walked up and Kate looked uncomfortable talking to this guy I turned and got angry immediately it was Cole and I could tell he was drunk. Me and Cole have a bad background.

He turned to me and smirked "How's the old man Jase?"

"How's that mother of yours cole?" I asked through gritted teeth. He looked pissed that I mentioned her but if he wants to bring up my baggage I'd bring up his. He turned to looked at Kate.

"You got my number called me when you get tired of this douche canoe." He sent her a wink thinking it was flirty but in reality he looked like he just had a seizure. I laughed out loud throwing my head back. He walked away.

"Thank God you came when you did I couldn't stand anymore of his flirting. He had no respect when I told him I wasn't interested. He took my phone and put his number in like I wanted it." Kate said as she rambled on it was cute.

"That's just Cole for you he's a drunk might as well be the town drunk. He party's like he's a teenager but he's really 28." I shook my head. And got on and left the store. We had lunch and talked and got to know each other.

Later after work we are all suppose to meet up at mama belle store to talk about what to do tonight.
