(Kyle Broflovski) Being Famous Sucks

A/n: Shiiiiiiiit, this is SO long. So, warning guys, it's almost 8,000 words. Sorry XD

But, hey, this was fun to type so I hope you guys enjoy this. Although, don't ask me why I chose the name 'Magnolia'. It's a pretty name and I decided to roll with it. Boop.

(Y/f/s) = your favorite soda
(Y/f/vg) = your favorite video game
(F/a) = favorite animal

Also, thank you so much, again, for all the views, votes, and comments. They make my day! Oh, and tell me if there are any mistakes in my stories! I'd appreciate it and change it straight away.

I may or may not make a oneshot in a while since I'm gonna get pretty busy. But we'll see. But for right now, I've been requested to do Gregory, Michael (Curly Goth) and another Kenny oneshot :)

Kyle x famous!Reader

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stared intensely at my manager straight in the eyes with crossed arms to show that I mean business. The older man huffed as he glared back at me a while longer behind his desk, his own arms crossed. "It's been ten years, Ted. I wanna do this project, I want to participate!" I growled at him, smacking my hands down on the wood.
Ted rolled his eyes as he lay back onto his fancy chair. "What's with you teenagers and wanting to do whatever you want?" he asked. "Also, why go there? You have Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, and New York paying big bucks for you to just arrive in their city. Here you are requesting to go to a small mountain town to go to a carnival. A carnival, Magnolia!"
"Hey, the Cow Days Festival is a tradition in my hometown, Ted! Not once did I go back to South Park to visit friends and family ever since I went out to become famous," I argued back. "I had a lot of great memories then."
"You were seven years old!"
I sat down calmly into my vacant seat and sighed. I needed to relax; shouting won't help anything in this situation. "Look, this is all I'm asking for. I just need a couple days in South Park and then we can do whatever you sign me up for right after. I promise." I waited there for a couple minutes, watching my manager contemplate the compromise. "South Park is not as little as you think. Big stars have visited there before, you know. Will Smith, Britney Spears, Mel Gibson... If you want, you can bring some paparazzi with us. They can bother the hell out of me. Just, please, let me go back home."
Ted reached out to grab his office phone, pressing a number, and placing it against his ear. "Fine, go get ready then. I'm going to call the mayor and see if we can approve this."
I shot up into the air and did a fist-pump.
I scurried over to the greying man and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I squealed out of pure joy.
"Yeah, yeah, now go home and pack. I will also book the best room in their hotel, ok?" he told me, nudging me away from him.
I gave him a blank look. "Why not just stay with my parents?"
Ted groaned, shooting me an exasperated glance. "You're pulling my leg, kid."
"What? It's the most plausible thing to do! I feel like I need to be reminded what my house was like. Again, ten years, Ted. Not once."
"Fine, whatever! We'll still need to book a couple rooms anyway for the crew. Now, go home. We'll leave around noon tomorrow so make sure you pack everything you think you need."
I shot him a thumbs up and ran out of his office. Once I was at the other side of the door, I let out a gleeful shriek. Finally! Finally, I get to go back to South Park and see family and friends. I can't believe it! Not once did I think that Ted would actually give in to one of my many attempts to visit South Park.
Ok, sure, I know what you're thinking. 'Why turn down New York or Chicago? Big cities are where the fun is at!' Well, I know that. I enjoy going to those cities, sure. But this girl just needs some good-ole-hometown fun.
Being a famous singer/actress has its perks but there's just so much restrictions. I would kill to just be a normal teenager and go to school and hang out with friends. Honestly, I would love to just chill and play some kickass video games... but no. I either have an interview to go to, or be a part of a photo shoot, or guest star in a few well known shows... It sucks!
When I was younger, I've always dreamt of becoming famous and getting rich. I achieved it and I'm tired of it. Being a teenage star as I am, I'm one of the most targeted for juicy rumors and hoaxes. None of those are true!
I am an uncontrollable, party girl... I occasionally would go to a few celebrity parties. Usually, I would turn down the invitation. I would stay at home and watch some of my favorite television shows.
I cheated on my supposed boyfriend, Matt Pepper, with Justin Bieber... One, I don't have a real boyfriend. Matt was my co-star in a movie I did recently and us being together is a publicity stunt. Two, I neither met Justin Bieber nor like him.
I am a raging alcoholic... I've tried beer ONCE and that's it.
There is so much shit. I'm just tired. Now? I want to become a vet. I'm done with this goddamn business. I don't want to be the famous Magnolia... I want to be... just (F/n).
~*~*~*~*~
"Why is he here, Ted?"
"What? He's your boyfriend, of course he's coming."
I kept my eyes on Matt as he approached us closer to the private jet. Cameras flashed and people shot us questions. Damn, why did I agree to let the paparazzi be here? "Well, hello sweetie," my fake boyfriend greeted me with a kiss on the cheek. I shot him my best sweet smile. Got to look fantastic and realistic for the cameras, right? "You ready to go?"
"Of course," I answered him. I turned and made my way up the steps into the jet. The smile on my face completely vanished. Thank god I survived that shit. I plopped down in one of the free seats. Ted sat across from me and Matt sat to my right. Some of the crew (which includes a hair stylist, makeup artist, personal photographer, etc.) scattered around the jet, conversing to one another. The jet started getting ready for take-off. Within minutes, we were in the air. "So, Ted. It seems to me there's going to be a lot more I have to do on my visit than just... visiting."
"Correct, Magnolia! I was talking to the mayor and we discussed how you can sing a few songs at the festival! Also, we can promote the new movie coming up. See, not too bad, right?" Ted told me. I pursed my lips and pondered. Yeah ok, it isn't bad. "Also, you and Matt might have to stick together the three days we'll be there." ALERT, ALERT, there's the bad!
"What? Seriously?" I spat out of frustration.
"Oh, thanks for the love, Mags," Matt mumbled right next to me.
I shot him an apologetic smile then turned my attention back onto my manager. "How about when I'm staying with my family?"
"Matt is staying with your family too!" Ted exclaimed with this disgusting kind of excitement. I knitted my eyebrows. "Well, people need to know that this is a serious relationship. Matt is your first boyfriend..."
"No, he's not," I grunted, crossing my arms at him again.
"Hey, we've put off giving you a boyfriend when you were younger. Relationships are big stuff in the business, ya know. It helps your career."
"You know what, whatever, ok?" I left Ted and Matt behind and sat in an excluded seat. I took out some earphones to listen to some music from my phone... That's when I realize that I gotten a text message from an recognizable number.
"Hey, (F/n)! It's Kyle. I heard you're coming back! :D"
Instantly, I smiled at the message. Memories of my young childhood years filled my mind. No way could I forget that redheaded Jewish boy. Kyle Broflovski was my best friend when I was still in South Park. We were inseparable. We had done everything together, the two of us. Although, I have always been close to Kyle for a couple reasons.
One, we were neighbors. It'd be hard not to see each other every single day. We would visit each other's houses whenever we wanted... dude, and we were only in kindergarten.
Two, I may or may not have a thing for him. I didn't have a crush on him when I was a toddler, no that's weird. But even when I left, Kyle was the only one beside my family that continued to keep in contact with me. We would talk about absolutely everything that has happened between the two of us. Even though I haven't faced him in person for so long, I developed deep feelings for him. I have no idea why or how it happened but I'm in love with Kyle Broflovski.
Throughout the rest of the jet ride to South Park, I messaged Kyle about anything that came to our minds. It was entertaining to say the least.
"Our town is so stupid, I swear. I think they actually believe Magnolia and (F/n) are two separate people. I have lost all faith in it," Kyle texted me as we were landing at the airport.
"Are you serious?" I texted back, giggling to myself.
"Apparently, changing your hair and going through puberty makes you a completely different person."
"Yeah, duh. You didn't know?"
"I guess not!"
"Pshh, and I thought you were smart."
"I am :C"
"Sure you are, bud. Sooo are you like the ONLY one in South Park that knows that I'm both Magnolia and myself? XD"
"Beside your family, yes. I really do believe that."
"Amazing. I love South Park."
"Magnolia, c'mon, we landed," Matt said, snapping me away from the conversation I was having with Kyle. I glanced out the window and saw we have stopped entirely. We were here in South Park! I unbuckled my seat and bolted out the exit, breathing in the chilly air. "Oh, wow, it's a lot colder than I expected."
"We're in a mountain town, Matt," I told him with a roll of my (e/c) eyes. I tugged onto the long sleeve of my shirt and stepped in the airport. Immediately, bodyguards had surrounded me and Matt at the gate. People crowded around us, cheering that we have arrived. I was in awe. Amongst the crowd, I saw a few familiar faces. Too bad they don't recognize me as (F/n).
I waved at the people that have come to see us.
"Omg, do you see her? She looks a lot prettier in person," I heard one person whisper as I passed by.
"What? You think she's pretty? She's a slut. Why praise her?"
I kept walking, purposely holding onto Matt's hand as we made our way to the baggage claim with body guards leading the way. Ok, whatever. There will always be haters...
Ted blabbered on about my future schedule and reminded me of what I had to do on my stay in South Park. I could only bob my head, hoping that he thinks I'm listening to him. Strolling on my other side, Matt made crude comments on how 'non-fancy' everything seems to be. I shut him out, too.
Riding down the escalator to the baggage claim, I spotted something I wasn't expecting. A group of people stood at the bottom, waving a sign that said, "Welcome home, (F/n)!" I pushed people away so I can rush down the rest of the steps. My family was here to welcome me, along with one extra person. "Kyle!" I ran over to the redhead and practically leaped into his open arms for a hug. It's been so many years since I've hugged him... oh my god, I can't believe how much I missed his hugs.
"Wow, hug Kyle first? Seriously?" My older brother, Reggie, muttered right next to us. I laughed and gave him a soft, playful push.
"You have visited me at my house in Cali a few times before. Kyle hasn't. I think hugging him was overdue," I replied with a smirk. I pulled away from him and gave the rest of my family a hug. Once after, I turned to my friend, giving him an overjoyed grin. "I can't believe you came here!"
"Well, why not? I didn't have anything else better to do," he chuckled, stuffing his hands into his jacket pockets. "It's been ten years. We need to spend as much time together as we can before you leave for probably another decade."
"Oh shut up, dude," I chortled.
"Is this your family?" My crew finally reached us at the bottom of the escalator. I lowly groaned in which I'm sure Kyle heard. Matt walked over to us with that famous, charming smile on his face. "Hello, I'm Matt Pepper."
"Wow, I know! I'm such a fan," my younger sister of one year, Vivian, swooned. I gave a nudge to her shoulder, making her stumble a bit. Her face glowed bright red as she swerved to give me a deathly glare. "And I can't believe you're dating my sister, like wow. Why?" It was my turn to give a glower. She only smiled innocently at me in return.
"Matt, this is my family, my mom, dad, older brother, Reggie, and younger sister, Vivian. And this amazing guy," I pulled Kyle into a side hug, "Is my best friend, Kyle Broflovski. We were next door neighbors when I still lived here." I could see Matt's eyes shift over to the Jewish boy next to me. Oh, I've seen that look before. He's judging him. Reason? I don't know but whatever Matt says about Kyle would not change my mind one way or another. Kyle seemed uneasy himself... "Ted, would you mind if I hang out with my family for the rest of the day? I know we planned to go to the Cow Days Festival most of tomorrow anyway."
Ted's eyes narrowed as he was in deep thought. "Well, it wouldn't hurt; I guess... but bring Matt with you."
... Well, goddamn it all. "Yeah, ok," I gave in. Matt took hold of my hand again in his, pulling me away from Kyle. I frowned a bit, glimpsing over at the Jewish boy. 'Uncomfortable' was all I could read from his face.
~*~*~*~*~*~
My family, Matt, and I were all at the house, with our luggage along with us. Thankfully, Ted kept his promise and him and the crew decided to go straight to the hotel. Kyle went back to his own home, much to my dismay.
Being with my family was a pleasure. We all talked about what had happened in our lives when I was away. Reggie was about to finish up college and Vivian was the number one artist in her class. I was proud of my siblings; I just wished I was here to see them take each step to where they are now.
It was nearing seven o'clock and Mom just finished making dinner.
"So, Reggie, bud, do you happen to know if there's a club here in South Park?" Matt asked my brother just as Dad went ahead to help Mom set the table. I crinkled my nose in disgust. Seriously? You're asking if there's a club?
"Oh yeah, there is. It should be open right about now," Reggie answered while glancing at his watch.
"Awesome. You want to go, sweetheart?" Matt asked me.
"No thanks," I uttered in response.
"Reggie, my man, you want to go?"
"Um, nah. Mom made her famous lasagna. I'm not missing out on that. You're going now?"
"Oh yeah, dude. I can't miss out knowing there's a club I haven't gone to." He leaned over and kissed my cheek. "I'll see you later, ok?" He grabbed his coat and left the house.
"I wanted to go," Vivian sighed, with a dreamy expression on her face.
"No, you don't," I told her, ruffling her hair.
"Why are you dating that guy?" Reggie asked me with an annoyed tone dripping in his voice. "He's a douchebag. When we were all talking, he seemed so uninterested."
"It's a publicity stunt. Don't worry, I wouldn't date him on purpose," I scoffed.
"Oh thank god," he sighed.
"WHAT? You and Matt Pepper are not really dating? Hook me up with him!" Vivian screeched, shaking my arm desperately.
"What? No, I'm not hooking you up with Matt. Did you not hear the part in our conversation that he's a douchebag?"
"... He's hot."
I shook my head in disapproval. A buzz from my phone tore my attention away from the whiny fangirl. It was Kyle. "Dude, I just saw your boyfriend leave. You want to come over and play video games?"
I grinned. That boy knew me too well. I unlocked my phone and quickly texted him back, "Hell yeah! I'll head right over after dinner." I bit down on my lip as I could feel my heart pumping faster at the thought of hanging out with only Kyle.
"Soooo, who was that?" Reggie questioned me with an amused smirk, snapping me away from my thoughts. "*Gasp* Are you cheating on Matt?"
"I'm not cheating on Matt and it was just Kyle."
"Oooh, Kyle? Hey, you can date Kyle while I take Matt! Sounds like a fair deal, right?" Vivian continued with her pestering.
"We're just friends, you know that," I replied, a deep blush on my cheeks.
"Kids! Dinner's ready!" Mom shouted from the dining room. Oh, thank goodness...
Reggie walked passed me. "Mmhm, friends, my ass, little sister."
...
After dinner, I walked to Kyle's house, which only took probably six steps. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. A familiar woman opened the door, giving me a wild look. "Oh my, you're Magnolia, that famous singer and actress! Gerald, come over! We have a famous person at our doorstep."
I laughed as I saw Kyle's dad rush over. "Mr. and Mrs. Broflovski, it's me, (F/n) (l/n)."
"What? No way," Mr. Broflovski scoffed.
"Look at me closer. I promise you, I'm the same girl."
And they did. They leaned in very close to me and gazed at my facial features. "OH SWEETHEART!" Mrs. Broflovski attacked me into a mama bear hug. I hugged her back, happy that she remembers me. "I can't believe I didn't put two and two together. You've really grown up to be such a beautiful young girl, (f/n)." She pulled away and pressed down on my hair she happened to mess up which hugging me. "Kyle's upstairs in his room, sweetie. Go on ahead."
"Thanks!" Kyle's parents moved aside to let me in. I walked into the familiar house and went up the stairs. There, I spotted a black haired boy I'm sure I haven't seen before. Obviously, he was Canadian. "Uhh, hi there," I greeted him.
"Holy shit, you're Magnolia, The Magnolia!" He gasped, a sparkle in his blue eyes. He shuffled over to me and lifted his shirt, showing off his bare, pale chest. "Can I have your autograph above my right nipple? It would be a dream come true!" I stood there frozen. I guess I can sign it if I had a pen...
Suddenly, a door to my right clicked open and I saw a flash of red jewfro hair in my sight. "(F/n)!" Kyle proclaimed as his electric green eyes landed on me. "Ike... can you not flash my childhood friend? Please and thank you."
Ike, as what I learned his name to be, put his shirt back down and gave Kyle an odd glance. "(F/n)? That girl you always told me about and--"My redhead friend pounced out of his room and clasped a hand over his mouth.
"Uh, sorry about him," Kyle muttered quickly. "Little brothers can be a pain in the ass. This is Ike. I've told you about him before."
Ike managed to grab Kyle's arm and pry them off his lips. "I can hear you, ya know! So, hold on. You're (F/n)?"
"Yeah, nice to meet you," I grinned at the younger boy.
His cheeks then glowed a deep red and he couldn't meet my eyes. "Hi... I'm going to head to my room." He zoomed off and vanished into a room, locking the door behind him.
I glimpsed over at Kyle, hoping for an explanation. "I may have forgotten to tell you that he's a big fan of Magnolia." I nodded, understanding the situation. "Come on in, I have some drinks if you're thirsty. You still like (y/f/s) right?"
I literally brightened up to the mention of my favorite soda. "Oh my god yes! I barely drink it nowadays since I'm on a diet." I zoomed into his bedroom and instantly, my eyes landed on the fizzy drink. I grabbed the can and took a gracious sip from it.
"You're on a diet?" Kyle asked as he entered his own room.
"Oh yeah, it sucks ass! I hate it so much," I groaned as I leapt onto his bed and lay lazily across it. "Can I tell you something, Kyle?" He walked to the shelf at the corner of his room, looking through the many games we could play on his XBOX 360.
"Of course, (F/n). You can tell me anything."
"I don't want to be part of the business," I finally confessed aloud.
A silence greeted me for a few seconds before Kyle spoke again, "You don't want to be famous anymore?"
I sat up on the bed and stared at the Kyle's back, since he was still looking through his shelf. "Yeah, I don't. I'm so done with it. Plus, I think it'd be cool to go back to school... I would be here. I miss South Park." He turned around. He then tackled me down, much to my surprise, and hugged me. I was giggling to no end. "Get off me, ya nerd! You're suffocating me."
He lifted himself up, directly above me. "No, (F/n)! That would be awesome! We can hang out like how we used to," he replied, a happy expression on his handsome face. I realized how close he was to me and I could feel my whole body heat up. His lips are so close...
Whoa, goddamn it. Chill, me! "Yeah, that would be awesome... but I don't think I can. My manager and my team are trying everything they can to keep me where I am. It was fun at first but everything just sucks now, you know? Even though I still love acting and singing, being famous is not worth it."
I froze as he leaned down on me. I closed my eyes, waiting for impact. I felt his soft lips press against my forehead. He pulled himself off me just as fast and get back onto his feet. Surely, he must've felt my burning skin since I'm blushing so damn much, but he didn't say anything about it. Although, I'm glad he didn't. "Hey, maybe we can figure something out. Now, milady, what game shall we play?"
I sat up again. "You have (y/f/vg)?"
"Hell yeah."
"Put that shit in, Broflovski. This pro is going to show you a thing or two on this game," I replied as he threw me a controller.
He joined me on the bed once again, a smug smirk spread on his face. "Alright, (L/n), let's do this!"
~*~*~The Next Day~*~*~
I woke up early the next day, feeling refreshed and happy for some reason... Ok, no, I knew the reason. Today, I get to go to the Cow Days Festival and just the lingering feelings of how great hanging out with Kyle was.
I swung over my legs to the side of my bed and was greeted by a low grunt. "Matt?" I squeaked out as I saw my fake boyfriend passed out on the floor below me. I groaned. I can't believe he got home drunk... wait, I got home before he did. Someone had to have let him in. Oh god, who let him in the house in this state?
I stepped over his hung-over ass and decided to get myself ready for the day. I rummaged through my bag and took out a few possible outfits to wear. They all seemed so flashy and so inappropriate for South Park weather. I groaned as I glanced at the closet, now noticing the stuff inside. I walked over and found many school spirit shirts, which I think were my brother's when he was still in South Park High School. I took out a particular green hoodie that said, "Go Cows!" on it.
Perfect. With some designer jeans and Gucci boots, I wore the hoodie over my tank top. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail and dabbed on barely any makeup. Instantly, my style seemed more down to earth and casual and... just better. I still enjoy dressing up, sure, but it's a rarity when I get to be this laid back.
I left my room and trotted down the stairs. What I didn't expect was to see my whole crew here, all with mugs of coffee provided from my mother. Inwardly, I groaned but shot them all a smile and approached them.
"Oh, sweetie, wasn't that Reggie's?" Mom asked as she gave me a kiss on the cheek. I nodded my head, flapping my arms in the long sleeves.
"Is that your pajamas?" Ted questioned, giving me a glance.
"No," I answered. "This is what I'll be wearing for today."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah, seriously."
"Ok, ok, fine, whatever. Where's Matt?"
"Having a hangover upstairs."
"What? Again."
"Oh yeah."
"... Rick, Watson, please go help him," Ted demanded while pinching the bridge of his nose. "What am I going to do with that boy? He needs to cut back on the alcohol. It's not easy trying to hide this from the press." I gave my mom an apologetic glance. On many phone calls to her, I would tell her almost everything that goes on in my life, just not the backstage scenes of it. This must be a shock to her.
"Do I really have to go to the festival with him? Maybe he can go sometime later and meet up with me. My friend can probably hang out with me now for the time being," I suggested, a tug of anticipation in my stomach.
"A friend? Oh uh, sure. Just remember that around three, we'll have your concert," he agreed, waving for me to go. He ran his fingers through his hair as he seemed more stressed than usual. God, looks like Ted needs a break.
I quickly texted Kyle that we could hang out at the festival. Within a minute later, I got back, "Well let's go!"
...
Well far into the festivities of the Cow Days Festival, I was having a great time. Kyle and I have tried almost all the rides, eaten so much junk food, and played a lot of the games. What's amazing was that, since of my not-so-extravagant getup, I have not been recognized as Magnolia. It's been such a dream come true. Also, being with Kyle and in South Park urges me to just stay here. I never want to leave this town that I have been born in.
"Look dude, it's one of those basketball games," I said, joyfully munching on some cotton candy and pointing over to one booth with the red and white striped roof. I grabbed onto his sleeve and pulled him closer to the stand, watching three boys attempting the game.
"What the fuck! This game is rigged!" the chubby boy yelled at the host of the game with an accusing finger.
"It's not rigged, fatass," Kyle put in, annoyance dripping in his voice.
The angry brunet's fierce brown eyes focused onto Kyle, narrowing at the sight of him. "Oh? How would you know, Kahl?! I bet you did something so I can't win shit on this game! Huh? You, stupid Jew!" I wanted so much to tell this guy off for being mean to my friend... Actually, no. I wanted to punch him.
The older man behind the booth looked very unamused and so his eyes drifted towards me. "Kid, unless you want to pay for another try, let the pretty lady have her turn," he muttered, gesturing towards me. "Or get lost!"
I shook my head quickly. "Oh, sorry, no. I was just looking," I declined.
"So Kahl, this the bitch you have ditched us for?" the fat boy retaliated once again, his arms crossed over his chest. I stared at the three boys and noticed how familiar they all seemed to be.
"Don't call her a bitch, fatass!"
"Don't call me Fatass, you dirty Jew!"
I glanced over at the two boys who wore an orange, patchy parka and a brown leather jacket. "Uh, do they always do this?" I asked them cautiously.
"Cartman and Kyle? Oh yeah, all the time, but we still happen to hang out with each other for some reason," the raven haired boy explained to me. He stuck out his hand. "I'm Stan by the way. A friend of Kyle is a friend of mine."
I took his hand into mine and shook it. "I'm (F/n)."
" And I'm Kenny," The parka-wearing boy introduced himself. He then stared at me blankly, who seemed to be lost in thought. "(F/n)... Are you the very same (F/n) from Kindergarten?"
I grinned widely. So more people do seem to remember the real me! "Yeah, dude. The one and only!"
"Oh wow, dude! Yeah, I remember you. You were like Kyle's best friend before way back when... Aw man, sorry but I'm his best friend now," Stan commented, pretending to be the proudest bitch in the world. "We both can't be his best friend."
I smirked. "Oh? You say so, Stan? Nah, I'm pretty sure I'm still his best friend."
The three of us talked. I was starting to feel more comfortable with Kyle's other friends, which seems like a blessing. We talked about many of our likes and dislikes since I have avoided the possible conversation of what I've been doing these past ten years. It turns out that I have a lot in common with Stan and Kenny. No wonder Kyle were good friends with them.
"Screw you Kahl! I'm going home." Storming past us, the chubby boy, in which I learned, was named Eric Cartman, vanished within the crowds of the festival. It was obvious that Kyle was highly irritated by the little squabble he just had with him. He shuffled over to us with his hands stuffed in his pockets and the cutest pouty face.
"God, I hate him so much," he hissed under his breath. "Like seriously, why do we hang out with him?"
"I was literally just saying that to Kenny and (F/n)," Stan responded.
I gave his arm a gentle squeeze and smiled at him. "Hey, it's ok. He's gone now, right?"
He calmed down and nodded. "Yeah, whatever..." From his pockets, he took out a five dollar bill. "I'd like to try. Hey, (F/n), I bet you're eying that (f/a) plush."
Instantly, I blushed. How did he know that I was staring at that prize for the past couple minutes? "Yeah, so? You need to shoot five in, it's a bit impossible," I scoffed while crossing my arms. He shot me a wink, which didn't help with my blushing problem, and shot one of the balls into the netted hoop.
Swish. Perfectly into the hole.
2nd went in with no difficulty.
The third one went in. Easy as pie.
4th thrown into the hole.
5th teased us a bit by circling around the rim but went in.
Apparently, my jaw was hinged open since Kenny closed it for me. "What the fuck? Since when were you such a pro in basketball?"
Kyle grabbed the prize from the man and handed it to me. "I am full of surprises, sweetheart."
Shit. Why did he call me sweetheart? I stuffed my face into the fluffy (f/a) to hide my tomato red face. "God, you're such a dork sometimes," I muffled out. I felt Kyle's arm wrap around my shoulders.
"But, that's why you love me so damn much. If not, you wouldn't be here right now." He pulled off my hood and kissed my forehead.
Seriously, Kyle. Stop. All of this was ok when we were kids but we're older now and I think I'm about to DIE!
"Aw, man dude. Stop being so cute together. I'm gonna puke," Stan quipped as he started to gag jokingly. Kyle shoved his black haired friend on his shoulder, chuckling away. "Whoa, (F/n). You look so much like that singer, Magnolia. Like scary similar!"
"I've been thinking that too, actually," Kenny added. "You two have the same amazing ass."
"Dude!" Kyle interjected. He tightened his grip on my shoulders.
"What?! I can't help it if I notice wonderful assets," Kenny defended himself. This comment earned a punch on the blonde's arm, noticeably harder than when Kyle messed with Stan. "Ok, ok. Sorry, (F/n)..."
I laughed at the whole scenario that played out before me. "Dude, it's ok. I know I have a great ass. I've been complimented by it countless of times."
"Wait, who complimented your ass?" I then smothered Kyle's face with my new plush. "What? AGH. (F/n)!"
"Shh, it's ok. Just let it happen," I whispered to him with a giggle. Stan and Kenny muffled their laughter. As much of a great time I was having, it was interrupted when I remembered that I had something to do. "Oh, guys. What time is it?"
Stan glanced down at his watch. "It's about 2:54. Why?"
My eyes widened. "Shit, I'm going to be late!" Without saying another word, I zoomed towards the direction to where the stage was set up. Behind me, I could hear the faint yells of the three boys following after me. From all directions, I apologized to the people I have pushed away a little too hard. Ted gave me one job and I was not maintaining it well!
I made it to the trailer parked behind the stage with a fuming Ted, a confused crew, and a very hung-over Matt. "Magnolia, there you are!... Jeez, I was about to call security on you because you look so different. Damn, we need to smother makeup on you, stat!" Ted rambled off with fury obvious in his tone. He grabbed my arm, a little too tightly, and pulled me towards the trailer.
"Whoa, hey! What do you think you're doing to her?" I swerved my head and saw Kenny, Stan, and Kyle finally arriving to the scene. I groaned inwardly as this may get a little messy.
"Who are these boys, Magnolia?" Ted asked me.
"Wait, Magnolia?" Kenny and Stan mumbled out in shock.
"Umm, they're my friends. You met Kyle yesterday, remember?" I uttered, my voice not as strong as I expected.
"Whoa, whoa, wait. These were the guys you have been hanging out with the whole day? Don't you know that I have secret paparazzi following after you? I thought your friend you were talking about was a girl!"
"You have WHAT following after me?!" I screeched in terror.
"You know, what just go ahead and get changed, will ya? The concert is going to start in a couple minutes!" I glanced over at the guys, who were all surprised at how all this has been laid out. If only they knew this was the star-studded life so many people wanted to be a part of. I entered my trailer and started to get ready.
What can I do? I never had any control on my life, so how could I now?
~*~*~No One's POV~*~*~
Kyle was in disbelief and absolutely outraged. These were the people (F/n) had to deal with every single damn day of her life? His (F/n) had to deal with this fucking tyrant and a sorry excuse of a boyfriend?? No wonder (F/n) wanted to get out of this life so badly. It was because it sucked so bad, just like her stupid diet! "You can't fucking treat her like that!" the redheaded boy blew up to (F/n)'s manager's face. "That girl has been the one making the most money in your company and that's how you fucking treat her?!"
"Look, kid. If Magnolia got to do everything she wanted to, she wouldn't be as famous. She wouldn't be where she is now if it weren't for me and my company helping her along the way," Ted shot back with the same bit of ferocity. Seriously, who was this boy to tell him how to do his job?
"Dude, do you not know how much bad rep she's been getting?" Stan decided to add in to help his friend out. It was true. It was usually the company's fault that sometimes 'Magnolia' looks like the bad girl in the media. Now that Kenny and Stan knew the real her, they know that all of those words in the media were just horrible rumors made up for publicity. "She's been called an uncontrollable party girl, a whore!"
"Again, kid. That's just how the business works. Do you know which people are usually in the magazines with the big headlines? It's the ones who seem to be fucking up their lives. It's all part of the job!"
"Then take her out!" Kyle shouted at him. "She doesn't want to be a part of the life anymore!"
"She has no say in it," Ted hissed manically. He glimpsed over at Matt and gestured towards the door of the trailer. "Matt, go on ahead and make her feel better, will ya?"
Kyle was literally shaking with anger. Just as Matt was about to go off, the Jewish boy grabbed his shirt and pulled him back. "Don't you fucking dare."
"What? I'm her boyfriend, I should be able to make her feel better." It wasn't his words that pissed Kyle off the edge, it was that perverted glint in his eyes that did. God, what did he do to her before?! With that, Kyle punched Matt right on his face with a satisfying crack. "OH GOD, THE BASTARD BROKE MY NOSE." Instantly, Stan and Kenny held their friend back to prevent any more damage on the superstar's face.
"Guards! Take them away," Ted commanded. Bulky guys came into view and effortlessly carried each teenage boy in their rippling arms.
"Fuck you! (F/n) deserves to be happy! She deserves to make her own fucking choices!" Kyle yelled as he was being taken away. The three boys were dumped carelessly on the dirt ground on the other side of the metal fences put up ten feet away from the stage.
"If you ever cross this boundary, sir, we will have you arrested," one bodyguard grumbled out before they all walked away to join the 'Magnolia Crew' once again.
Kyle shouted to the sky and threw his iconic, green trooper hat on the ground. "SHIT!"
"Kyle, c'mon, calm down," Kenny mumbled to his raging friend.
"Calm down? CALM DOWN?! How can I calm down when the girl I am so god damn hopelessly in love with is being controlled by an asshole manager and being manhandled by a dumbass pervert?!" Kyle shouted. He didn't want to admit it but he was close to tears. He wanted to so desperately have (F/n) escape this life but what can he do?
"Wait, did you just say you were in love with her?" Stan pointed out. When Kyle realized he did, his face burned with embarrassment. Not once in his life has he told anyone how he was in love with (F/n)... Basically in love with Magnolia. You see why he couldn't say anything? It'll just come off as a creepy fan boy obsession. "Dude, we'll figure something out, we always figure something out.
People have begun to gather around the stage, anxious to see the famous Magnolia perform in their little town. To the boys' right, paparazzi with recording cameras have made their way to the front row, ready to take pictures and record videos of the teen sensation. Kyle's mind was whirring and as reckless as it sounds, he knew what he has to do.
Ted, the biggest douchebag in the world, walked off on stage, receiving boisterous cheers from the audience. "Hello, everyone!" he proclaimed into the microphone he had in his hands. "Are all of you having a great time in the Cow Days Festival?" Another round of cheers in reply. "Are you ready for Magnolia?" The cheers gradually got louder at the mention of the star's name. "Well, here she is! Magnolia!"
(F/n) stepped out on stage caked with makeup on her face and clad in a revealing, showy outfit. For once in her life, she was scared. These were her people and she's not who she was. In the distance, she spotted her family in the audience. God, what were they thinking?
This wasn't her.
Just as the back music began to play for one of her famous songs, Kyle broke through the metal fence and hopped onto stage beside her, using her as a shield from the guards. "Kyle, what are you doing," she hissed at him.
"Something stupid, I'm sure," Kyle responded. He grabbed the microphone from her hands and tapped it. "Are the cameras rolling?" The cameramen nodded at the redhead. "Alright... Hi, I'm Kyle Broflovski." (F/n) stood right behind him in awe on what he's trying to do. "And, I'm here to tell you a few things about Magnolia." (F/n) gawked at her friend but made no intention to move to stop him. "As you all may know, Magnolia is a worldwide known celebrity. But what you all seem to forget, South Park, was that she used to live here."
"Impossible!" someone somewhere in the audience shouted out. The audience all went into rabbles of agreement.
"Hear me out! Magnolia's real name is (F/n) (L/n). She left our town at a young age and grew up to be a beautiful, talented star."
"Someone get him off the stage!" Ted demanded from someone. Miraculously, no one made a move.
"I would like to announce that she would like to retire and finish school back in South Park."
That's when all hell broke loose. The audience went insane and the paparazzi shot both Kyle and (F/n) a million questions. That's when the (h/c) haired girl snatched the mic back from Kyle and said all on her own, "Yes, I would love to retire right now. Hopefully, people will understand the situation but I am ready to go back to school and go to college and have a simple job. I still love singing and acting but it took me so long to realize how much this life wasn't for me. What the media have failed to find out that I am not a slut. I am not an attention grabbing whore. All the things about me a party girl and me sleeping with a million guys are all false. I'm still, happily, a virgin. And Matt Pepper? It was all fake. I am not in love with him, we're not dating and never in my life have I ever had a real, true boyfriend. Goddamn it, you guys, I want to become a vet!"
"Magnolia, you come off the stage this instant!" Ted shouted.
She grabbed Kyle's hand and strolled over to the steps. She roughly shoved the microphone into his hands. "My name is (F/n), asshole." With that, she walked away with Kyle by her side. Paparazzi and the residence of South Park alike surrounded the two, trying to get more answers from them. Kyle and (F/n) managed to grab Kenny, Stan, and her family and make their way home to the (L/n) abode to protect themselves from the savages.
~*~*~*~*~*~
After the whole fiasco, the family, Stan, Kenny, Kyle, and (F/n) were having a Marvel marathon in the house, feeling well rested and somewhat free. Even though people were outside their house, waiting for someone to come out and talk to them, they were happy at what happened. (F/n) realized that it was her life and she needed to take control back for it. If she wanted to get out of the life, she can.
Within hours, the speech Kyle and her had made at the Cow Days Festival became the top news all around the world and to her surprise, the majority of people supported her decision. It made (F/n) feel completely humble and blessed that many people had hearts and didn't expect much from her any longer. She also found out that her ex-manager and Matt Pepper have been getting so much hate. She felt slightly bad for it... only slightly.
Almost everyone in the house were asleep. Kenny and Stan figured it was best to sleepover since they knew the moment they exit the house, they're going to get jumped by someone outside.
(F/n) and Kyle were still awake though. They were both too hyped up from the events of today. No way could they sleep with something like that. So now, being the only ones awake, continued watching Iron Man with (F/n)'s head resting on the redhead's shoulder and him playing with her hair unconsciously. She also cuddled the plush Kyle won for her.
"Kyle," she whispered to him out of the blue.
"Mmm?"
"Thank you for everything. I finally feel free, ya know?"
"No problem. I would do anything for you."
Again, (F/n) face flushed. She pulled away from him and gazed at him straight in his eyes. Might as well continue on with her rebellious streak. "Oh my god, Kyle, just stop." His eyebrows furrowed in confusion at her sudden reaction. (F/n) gulped and continued. "Shit, Kyle. I'm pretty sure I'm so damn obvious but you're so oblivious. Every time you say something like that or do something like kissing my forehead, I can't help but feel my stomach flip and my face burn. You can't keep doing that because I am in love with you, ok? I know we did things like that when we were younger but you can't keep doing that kind of crap. I am in love with you, Kyle Broflovski, and you absolutely make me go insane."
Kyle gawked at her. He really wasn't expecting a confession quite like that. But he smiled brightly, feeling like the luckiest guy in the universe. "I love you too," he admitted himself, cupping her face in his hands.
"You do?" the (e/c) eyed beauty squeaked out. Kyle nodded, the grin never once wiping off his face. She attacked him into a hug. "Thank god... that confession would've been so awkward if you didn't."
Kyle laughed and finally, he kissed the girl he has waited ten years for. The kiss was passionate, as they both had put in all they had within the kiss.
Everything finally feels right.
"Goddamn it, guys! It's about damn time!" Reggie exclaimed. Kyle and (F/n) pulled away from each other. Whoops, they just confessed to one another in front of her family, Kenny, and Stan... and looked like they weren't asleep for that part. "I knew it. I knew that you two had a thing for each other! Why did it take so damn long??"
"Sweetheart, I think we should go to our room and leave the two alone," (F/n)'s mom said with a somewhat suggestive tone.
"Mom!" (F/n) screeched.
"C'mon, boys. We have a guest room you can stay in." Stan and Kenny followed after the older woman and one by one, everyone had gone back to their rooms. And (F/n) covered her face with her hands, feeling embarrassed than ever.
"I hate my family sometimes," she muffled out. Kyle left her a kiss on her cheek.
"I love your family," Kyle chuckled.
(F/n) sighed and cuddled into his chest. "And I love South Park."
