"You took on a great responsibility that many would have denied." Nikkita said

"Believe me when I say I know." Navyblaze said, "You didn't have any issues on the way over, did you?"

"Not this time. I thought I would see you or Quickshadow at the station." Nikkita said, "Now, about my adopted grand-creations?"

"They are currently taking a stasis nap," Navyblaze said, opening the door and walking in

"No matter. I can still look at them." Nikkita said, walking inside

"It is good to see you again, Nikkita." Quickshadow smiled

"It is good to see you as well." Nikkita said, smiling back

"Carrier, this is Shockwave and Scarlet." Navyblaze said, "Shockwave is Soundwave's twin brother."

"It is a pleasure to meet you both." Nikkita said

"I know you from somewhere." Scarlet said, tilting her helm, "I can't put my digit on it, though."

"I am certain you will figure it out." Nikkita replied

"It's still a little early for dinner, but that doesn't mean we can't do something to pass the time." Heatwave said, stepping out of the kitchen

"What's for dinner this time, Sire?" Shockwave asked

"One of Scarlet's favorite." Heatwave smiled at Scarlet

"There are so many that you make that is my favorite." Scarlet smiled

Navyblaze saw Soundwave with his mask on. She went to say something to him, only for her carrier to say something.

"Soundwave?" Nikkita asked

[Yes, ma'am?"] Soundwave sent

"Why do you wear your mask when you are with your family?" Nikkita questioned

[Technically, Scarlet is not family quite yet.] Soundwave sent

"Technically, she is since she and your twin are courting." Nikkita pointed out, "Technically, you and my daughter are still courting, yet here we are."

"She does have a point, son." Heatwave said

[You want me to take the mask off, don't you?] Soundwave sent with defeat

"In this family, we don't hide anything from each other unless it is absolute." Nikkita said, crossing her arms

Soundwave took his mask off and looked at Nikkita, and said, "Is this better?"

"Much. Now that is that." Nikkita said

The group got quiet when they heard little yawns and clicking. Navyblaze went over and saw the twins stirring from their stasis nap.

"Hello, sleepy helms." Navyblaze said, crouching down, "Enjoy your stasis nap?"

The twins yawned a little bit more, then started clicking.

"There are a few bots that I want you to meet." Navy said, then waved the three over

The twins stared at the three confused.

Navyblaze then pointed at each bot, "That's your uncle Shockwave, aunt Scarlet, and your grandcarrier on my side."

The twins were reaching up for the femmes. Navy understood and handed Rumble to Scarlet and Frenzy to Nikkita.

"How old are they?" Scarlet asked, sitting down

"Three groon as of yesterday." Navy said petting Ravage

"I would say that we go outside for a bit, but it's just too cold outside." Heatwave said holding Lazerbeak

Navy went to get up off the floor, but one of her wings got stuck underneath the couch and pulled the same arm out of the socket, tearing a few lines near her wing.

Navy then collapsed back to the floor and used her other arm to hold her arm still.

"Are you alright?" Soundwave said, kneeling next to her, "What all hurts?"

"My wing got stuck. It pulled my arm out of the socket and tore a few lines." Navy choked, trying not to leak

"I'll have to take her to Iacon." Quickshadow said, "I know a few femme medics. They'll take care of her."

"Ava and Whitney?" Navy asked

"Of course." Quickshadow said, then looked at Soundwave, "Make sure that her wing doesn't get caught again. I don't want her in more pain than she is enduring."

Quickshadow and Soundwave then helped Navyblaze off the floor and to the train station. From there, Quickshadow comm. Ava and Whitney to let them know that they were on the way to Iacon hospital and the damage Navyblaze endured. The two were preparing a room for Navy when she arrived. When Quickshadow and Navyblaze got to the hospital Ava and Whitney got to work immediately.

Many joor passed, and Navyblaze was released from the hospital.

Navyblaze was put into a sling to help prevent movement of her arm so the lines to her arm and wing would heal before she could have her arm put back into socket. She was also told she couldn't do any lifting what so ever.

"I want to see you back here in one breem, Navyblaze." Whitney said, handing her a data pad full of the information of her discharge, "Don't make me break the security policy in Kaon just for me to make sure you are recovering properly."

"I won't, and thank you. Both of you." Navyblaze said smiling

"I will see you femmes around." Quickshadow said

"Don't be a stranger." Whitney said

"Fill free to come and visit." Ava said

Quickshadow walked with Navyblaze to go back home, only for them to stop about halfway. Navyblaze saw her Sire. She froze in place.

"What is the matter?" Quickshadow asked, staring in the direction where Navy was looking

"We got to go." Navy said

Grabbing Quickshadow's servo with her good one she started sprinting for the train. Navy heard her Sire's vocalizer and knew that he spotted her. She ran even faster with Quickshadow now sprinting beside her.

"Why are we running?" Quickshadow asked

"I'll explain once we are back in Kaon." Navy said turning her helm and seeing her Sire not much farther behind them

"Hurry up and get on the train." Navy said

Quickshadow jumped on the moving train and held her servo out for Navy to take with her good one. Navy jumped before the ledge ended and caught Quickshadow's servo. She quickly made her way into the train and shut the doors.

"Care to explain." Quickshadow questioned

"A mech I hope doesn't know any bot in Kaon." Navy sighed

"Who is he?" Quickshadow asked concerned

"My bastard Sire." Navy said, closing her optics for a moment, "He said he'd offline me if I was not to stay as a wrecker."

"I'm sorry." Quickshadow said

"I really hope he doesn't know a bot in Kaon." Navy said, "I fear for the twins, minimals, Soundwave, Shockwave, Heatwave, Scarlet, and even you."

"Us that live in Kaon look out for one another." Quickshadow said smiling

The two had arrived back in Kaon to see Soundwave waiting for them. The three then made their way back home before it got dark. When they got inside Soundwave took his mask off.

"What all was damaged?" Heatwave asked from the kitchen

"I have to go back in a breem for a checkup. I know the medics and one of them has a daughter in a relationship with my twin." Navy said, sitting down on a stool at the table

"Nothing super major?" Heatwave asked pulling dinner out of the oven

"Other than what I said was wrong? No." Navy said

"She does have restrictions." Quickshadow said, sitting down at the dining table with the younglings and Nikkita, "The one that genuinely hurts her."

"No lifting. Like anything." Navy sighed, then noticed, "Where are the twins?"

"Scarlet offered to tell them a story to try and calm them since they detected your stress." Shockwave said walking into the kitchen with Rumble in his servos

"It didn't take long until they got fascinated and started to calm down." Scarlet said, walking in with Frenzy

"I hadn't realized how much we three have such a strong attachment to one another. It has only been a cycle." Navy said

Scarlet and Shockwave sat next to each other but Shockwave gave Rumble to his brother to hold.

"Who's hungry?" Heatwave said, bringing over dinner

"It looks delicious, Heatwave. Thank you." Nikkita said

"Let's eat." Soundwave said

The family ate their dinner. The minimals had theirs and the twins had their nightly energon.

Soundwave took the twins upstairs along with the flying minimals perching on him.
