Enola, Grace and Jasmine watched a strange looking car approaching Ferndall Hall. "Miss Harrison's finishing school.", read Jasmine out loud. "I've read something about it once, her school was supposed to be one of the bestest.", said Grace while looking at Jasmine. "Enola? Are you okay?", asked Jasmine worried as she looked at their friend. Grace tried to scan her feelings but it was quite hard.
"Stand tall, girl.", said Miss Harrison to Enola. "I already hate that woman!", whispered Jasmine to Grace who nodded in agreement. "Be quiet you two!", said the woman towards the two girls. "Pardon Miss Harrison.", said Grace curtseying. Miss Harrison gave her a small proud smile making Jasmine look in disgust. "Pardon Miss Harrison.", mocked Jasmine her friend. Grace only slapped her lightly and chuckled. "I won't enjoy being imprisoned in those preposterous clothes.", said Enola making her friends look at her. "These clothes will not imprison. They will free.", said Miss Harrison. "Free from what?", asked Jasmine Grace. "They will allow you to fit into society, to take part in its numerous pleasures. To catch eye, to attract.", continued the older woman. "And I thought society in 2020 was toxic!", whispered Grace to Jasmine with wide eyes. Jasmine nodded her head, her eyes not letting go of Miss Harrison.
"At my finishing school, you will learn how to be a young lady, and you'll make new friends." "We're her friends!", said Jasmine protesting. "I don't need new friends. I already have my own company.", said Enola and send a smile to the two younger girls behind her. "And I don't need to go to your ridiculous school.", as this sentence left Enola's lips she felt a hand brushing against her cheek. Grace and Jasmine gasped at the sudden action of Miss Harrison and hurried to help Enola. But Enola brushed both girls away while she stormed out. Jasmine send a glare towards the woman, making her way to Enola. Grace went towards the older woman, looking her in the eyes. "You touch her again and you'll see what me and Jasmine can do!", she whispered making Miss Harrison wince in fear. Then Grace made her way to Jasmine and Enola.

"No! Please don't do this to me!", heard Jasmine Enola yelling. "Let me remain happy. I am happy here.", said Enola desperate. Grace looked at Jasmine with sad eyes. This girl was about to lose her freedom because of her stupid brother not understanding her feelings nor wishes. "You are a woman now, Enola. You need an education.", said Mycroft not looking up from his book. That's when Grace snapped. "Test her. Test her on anything you think she needs to know to be sufficient for this world!", said Grace while she pointed to Enola. "If her mother taught her so well, she wouldn't be standing in her undergarments in front of me.", as Mycroft said that Grace stopped and went over to Jasmine. "Why does he have to be so pressed?", asked Grace and folded her arms. "I don't know but that was awesome!", said Jasmine and punched Grace's arm playfully making the girl smile. "You have no hope of making a husband in your current state.", said Mycroft directly at Enola. "I don't want a husband!", she said offended. "And that is another thing you need to have educated out of you.", said Mycroft. Jasmine looked at him in disgust. That man would've totally be a Trump supporter in 2020. For sure!
Enola looked at her other brother, Sherlock. "Sherlock.", she whispered and went down on her knees. "Don't let him do this to me." "You're his ward.", said Sherlock and kept reading. "Make me yours. Guide me. Teach me. For him, I am a nuisance. For you--" "Enola.", said Sherlock cutting his younger sister off. "I'm sorry. It's out of my hands.", he said apologizing. Enola looked at him disappointed. "Just like his cruelty to our mother was out of your hands. She's not dangerous. She's remarkable and always has been. And if you still can't see that, then shame on you both!", said Enola angry. "You tell them girl!", whispered Jasmine and folded her arms like Grace.
"So remarkable that she left you in my care.", said Mycroft as his sister was about to leave. In that moment Miss Harrison walked in. "I almost forgot about her.", whispered Grace to Jasmine making her giggle. "Well, we have had a lovely little chat, haven't we?", said Miss Harrison. "Yeah excluding the fact that she slapped Enola.", said Jasmine and gritted her teeth. "She's so fake!", whispered Grace making Jasmine nod in agreement. "I can tell we're going to be firm friends.", said the woman and hugged Enola who had an annoyed face expression. Jasmine only made a few puke sounds making Grace laugh a little.

"I don't trust that lady!", said Jasmine to Grace as they were walking around the house outside. "Neither do I but we can't do anything about it.", said Grace sad. "What if we can?" "What's on your mind?", asked Grace interested. "I don't know I just thought it sounded cool.", said Jasmine and shrugged her shoulders. Grace rolled her eyes. "Did Eudoria say something before she left?", asked Grace. "Sadly no. Nothing.", answered Jasmine and shook her head.
"Should we let Enola know about her mother's plans?", she asked and looked at Grace. "No. Eudoria said that we should let Enola solve this herself." "But why did she told us?", asked Jasmine. "So we could help her daughter in case she's in danger or doesn't come far.", explained Grace again Eudoria's plan. "That makes sense.", said Jasmine making Grace chuckle. "Sherlock finally decided to talk to her huh?", asked Jasmine. Grace only looked at her confused. Jasmine pointed behind Grace making her turn around. As Grace saw the siblings duo she immediately smiled. "Took him long enough.", said Grace and laughed together with Jasmine.
The girls then made their way towards the house. Both kept talking and couldn't believe how much they had in common. It was like they both understood each other for the first time and they both liked it. It felt like something was growing between them.
Something so incredible and magnificent that felt almost impossible. Something called a friendship. A slowly growing friendship.

Enola was laying on her bed while Jasmine and Grace were reading. "Own way of doing things...", mumbled Enola. Both girls looked up from their books immediately eyeing the older girl. Enola then walked up to her drawer picking out her birthday gift.
The 16 year old began to look through it not missing a single part, her two friends watching her curiously. As she opened the drawing box she picked up the pencils and threw them away in frustration. Jasmine then noticed a slice of paper peeking through. "What's this?", she asked while picking up the paper gently. Enola took the paper and began to look at it. "Alone", she whispered. "That's my name."
Grace got the alphabetical play stones while Jasmine put up together a small table for Enola. The girl then pulled all of the stones out and began to search for the ones she needed. As she got it all three looked at it. "I think that's not correct.", said Jasmine. "Try it backwards!", said Grace pointing to the secret code. Enola then began to sort the words backwards. "Bear with me.", she said to her friends. "Chrysanthemums...my in look...Enola.", whispered Enola. Then she began to make them into a full, correctly put together sentence. "Look in my Chrysanthemums Enola.", read Jasmine the sentence out loud. Then Enola began to have a flashback. "We hear you, mother."
Grace, Jasmine and Enola found themselves sneaking around the house, trying not to make any noise. They went into Eudoria's room to find some clues. It was obvious that the woman wanted to be found but in her own way. With a mystery.
Enola put down the candle on the table besides the Chrysanthemums in her mother's room so she could free her hands to search in the small book of the meaning of the flowers. And she found it. "Chrysanthemums. The bestowing of chrysanthemums indicates familial attachment and, by implication, affection.", she read to the younger girls. Then she decided to look inside the vase they were in but Enola couldn't find anything. "My chrysanthemums.", whispered Jasmine suddenly making Grace gasp in realization. "Not the ones she bought. The one she painted.", said Jasmine and went to the paintings of Eudoria. She then took the picture out of the frame and started to search at the back and found a letter addressed to Enola. "Money. She must've left a message!", whispered Grace. And she did.
Enola pulled out a small card, showing it to her friends. "Our future is up to us.", she read. "What future?", asked Grace. Suddenly they all three remembered something once Eudoria said.
"There are two paths you can take, Enola. Yours...or the path others choose for you."
Enola turned to her friends thinking the same thing as them. "Our future is up to us."
