12:54 PM. NEW NINJAGO CITY

y/n hums, nodding as the rest of the cheer squad do the routine. the routine her and the green ninja made. the fundraiser is in three days. elena's birthday is in four days. the winter ball is in five days. 

she usually would be cracking under pressure...who are we kidding. she is. 

the song ends, making her hum. everyone stays in their pose just in case she needs to critique them. she sighs out, walking up and down the hall. 

"it was..." she pauses, sighing out with a smile. "perfect. it was perfect and-"

"they're here!" elena shouts, using her door to open one of the sports hall doors. behind her, nicholas and mattias, holding up the other boxes. nicholas has a playful look on his face, making y/n look at him suspiciously. 

"where should i put them, ma'am?" mattias jokes, walking over to y/n. 

"give me," y/n says, opening the box and holding up the winter themed uniforms. instead of the ninjago high blue and yellow's, it's green and red. why is green and red? the frown on y/n's face forms as she looks at it in disgust. "what is this? i thought we said blue and white? for winter?" she huffs, tapping her foot quickly against the ground. 

she's cracking. 

"we'll get a refund, princess," nicholas says. "it's not that deep," elena winces, looking over to y/n. who is usually a relatively calm person because that's how her mother raised her. 

but she's cracking. 

"cheer's over!" elena shouts to the cheer squad. she just wants them to get their things and go. "we will practice on the day! take this time to rest, eat and drink enough water!"

lloyd looks down at his heart, seeing how it's bright red. angry? his soulmate is never usually angry. he hopes they're okay. 

"you okay, sunshine?" misako says, putting her hand on his shoulder. he nods, leaning into her touch. "you want to talk about it?"

"no, i'll be okay," lloyd says with a smile, getting up. he throws his green backpack on. "i've got to head back to school. so i'll see you later,"

"bye, baby," misako says, moving the blond curls away from lloyd's forehead and kissing it. 

"bye, mom," he says with a wave. he exits the montgomery library, halting his steps as he spots sailor with whoever that is. it's henry  right? sailor turns lloyd's way, registering his scent and runs at him, leaving henry in the dust.

oh no. sailor sits at lloyd's feet, making lloyd crouch down and rub the dog's furry golden head with a small smile. he's always wanted a dog. but his elememtal dragon is much better.

"i am sorry, sir," henry says, standing next to lloyd, slightly heaving. he coughs trying to slow down his heart rate. he's not known to be fit. his face is quiet flushed, making a red colour, contradicting his light grey hair. not that he has a lot of it left. "this dog certainly has a mind of his own," henry raises his eyebrow, sailor jumping around and barking at the awkward blond, happily. 

"no, it's fine," lloyd says, giving sailor one last pat on his head. "he's a very cute dog," and the owner of that dog is very cute too. "and i wish i could play with him more but i've got to get to school,"

"of course, sir," henry says, picking up sailor who whimpers at lloyd. not the sailor doesn't like henry, because, oh boy, he does. henry always gives him the yummy food. and the rest of the meat scraps. but there's something about the blond. he smells funny. not in a bad way...but like someone he recognises.

"see you soon, sailor," lloyd mumbles, walking away. sailor perks up, barking in confusion.  

he smells like the green ninja. that's who he smells like...is he the green ninja?
