3rd person pov--

It was their last year at Hogwarts and this year was going to be a great year.. because Lily has became the Head girl.. she was so excited about her year at Hogwarts as Head girl. She also wanted to know who the head boy is. She is hoping it would be someone better than some Slytherin or irresponsible git.

Lily pov--
"Mum! It's almost 10:30 we should leave by now!"
I tell my parents when I with my family was having our breakfast.
" Yeah let's go" my dad stated searching for his keys in his pocket.

We get into the car and soon arrived at the muggle station then we crossed the wall between platform 9 and 10 and there we are! Kings cross platform 9 ¾.

" We'll miss you dear" my mum snapped and engulfed me in a hug.
" I'll miss you too mum!" I said hugging her back.
" Do well like you always do lils! I know you'll make us proud like all the time" dad said and kissed my forehead.
" I engulfed him in a hug and rubbed his back and replied
" Yes dad sure I will"
I smiled at them and they smiled back and then I told them to say Bye to petunia from my side as she never come to drop me there. She hated me from 6 years, from the day she found out about me being a bitch.
Before they start getting emotional I waved bye at them and started to find out my friends.

" Lilyy!" Someone screamed from behind and grabbed me into a hug as soon as I turned to look.
" Hey marls !" I replied hugging her back. It is Marlene MicKinnon. She is my best friend from years. She understands me more than anyone. She protects me from the bad thoughts I get everytime petunia send me letters telling me I'm a freak and the times when Sev- Snape told me that I'm a mudbloood.

I don't want to admit but there was only one person who protects me more than anyone even Marlene and that was James Potter! That JERK! I don't like him! He's such a ego full high head Quidditch captain around whom every girl roams. And his friend Sirius Black who has the same no. of followers as Potter. They both were the biggest trouble making in the whole school but still girls find them attractive.
Merlin why all the girls like them?
Anyway. He has a friend in their group called MARAUDERS and his name is Remus lupin. He's a good person. He has been a prefect with me last year and I'm almost sure he's going to be the Head boy this year.

" I missed you!!"  She shouted.
" Not more than me"
" No I miss you more"
" Believe me marls you have never been with Petunia in summers!" I told her. She laugh.

" Lils lets get inside and find a compartment" marlene snapped me and I was out of my thoughts by now.

" Yeah yeah"
We both went inside the train and I found my other best friend there.
" Lilsss!" Alice Prewett called and hug me.
" Alice! I miss you"
" I miss you too!" She said with a smile.

We found a compartment and get inside.

" What's up with you and longbottom" marlene asked Alice with a teasing voice.
Alice blushed.
" Oh We're dating "
I and marlene almost jumped on her to give her a huge hug of congratulations.
" Soooo!! Finally!!" I screamed.
" Yeahh! After 6 years of crushing over each other!" Marlene joined.

" Oh girls shut up" Alice replied holding her blush.

Then I remember that I have to go to the prefect's car for the meeting.
" Girls I'll see you around I have to go to the prefect's car!" I told them
" So you're again a perfect?" Alice asked.
" I'm the Head girl" I told them
" OH MY MERLIN LILY! WE KNEW IT! they both called loud looking happiest.
" Everyone was sure that you'll be the Head girl" Alice added with a huge smile.
" Yes we're so happy for youuuu lilss!" Marlene added.
I laugh and Thanked them.
And then I met Remus in my way.
" Hey remus!" I said.
" Hey lily! Nice to see you" he replied.
" Are you the head boy?" I asked. I wanted to know who it is as we have to spend our most time together this year.
" Umm no!" He replied with a grin.
" Ah! I thought it would be you.. you're a good friend of mine so I wanted it to be you..if it's someone else  then.. oh it's okay!" I told him with a sad face.
" Oh lily. It's not me but trust me it's someone better than me" She added with a grin.
I was so puzzled that I didn't noticed his grin.
" Do you know who is it?" I asked looking at him
" Oh yeah!" He replied with a smugly face.
" Who?"
" The one behind you"
I turned back to see who it is and bumped into that person and fell on the ground with the person over me. I smelled his scent it was like Quidditch pitch.. the grass of lemon grass and..
" Get a room prongs!" I heard Someone shouted in a teasing tone. I know who it it.
It was Potter , James Potter over me our chest colliding and our face was just a few centimetres from each other when I open my eyes I saw James Potter.
I was totally speechless for a moment when I saw his eyes looking at mine. Even though his friend Sirius Black was teasing and smirking at us but neither of us were moving. We frozed.
"Lily? James?" Remus asked smirking too.
Then we moved with our embarassing smiles.
" Potter? You're the new head boy?" I asked with a sarcasm
" Maybe" he added with a grin.
" You're kidding right?" I asked with more seriousness in my voice.
" Whatever I say to you.. I never lied." He added with a little smile in the side of his lips.
" What? You're the head boy?" I asked him again not believing the fact before me.
" Yeah" he replied and I bit my lips.
So he's the Head boy? James Potter? That jerk? Oh my merlin how am i going to spend my whole year with him?
" I can't believe this, is Dumbledore gone mad?"
He just gave me a killing smile. He was looking handsome. Like really handsome. His height was increased from last year and now he's almost 6'4. Tall right? And his eyes were hazel but I never look at it that long . It was dark hazel like it's the whole world can settle into his eyes. It was filled with passion and courage and mostly Mischief.
" How ! I mean you only hex people for your fun! Why you've been Head boy now? " I snapped.
" Well I must be a little naughty.." started and winked. I blushed. Why did I blushed. Gross lily!
" But I always topped the class with you! And had been the Quidditch captain too from 2 years." He added.
Yeah! He was right He was very good in academics, he had always got the highest marks in class in class though I was more good in potions and he in transfiguration and defence against dark arts. He was also very good at charms too.. in the practical he was almost top of the class but I was a nerd so when it's time of writing I can match upto his level
It was almost tie who topped each year but it was never the part which Make me dislike him. But it was the fact that he was a trouble making arrogant jerk who hex people for his and his friend's fun. He was hell good at Quidditch too but I never admitted it.. it will only only boost his ego up.
" Lily? " Remus asked.
" Lost in my dreams eh, Evans? " Potter said smirking.
" Sod off Potter" I said and we went towards the prefect's car.
