They both went to their compartments where there friends were. Lily sat between Alice and Remus and James sat next to sirius and marlene.
All their friends congratulate the two on becoming heads.
" I'm still wondering how Dumbledore made you head boy James!" Marlene asked confused.

Marlene and James were neighbours from always and grown up like siblings.

" Well I was also amazed so I asked him again by sending a letter to confirm if there is a mistake but he told me that I'm capable and he has made a great choice" he concluded.
" I must say he did" lily said blushing.
" WHAT" marlene ask nearly shouting.
" You said that it is a great choice? "
" Yeah" lily say.
" From when did you started liking James lily?" Alice asked grinning.
" I'm not saying I like him I say I like the choice Dumbledore has made... James is a good head boy" She replied blushing.
" Oh really prongs is it?" Sirius smirked.
" Uh.. um.. I don't know" James say a little embarassed.
" Lilyflower? Why do you think so?" Sirius asked grinning.
" Well.. he has made a good job today when we were with the prefects.. he was..being.. responsible" she replied smiling.
Their eyes met and they both started blushing furiously.
" Have I missed something?" Marlene asked looking at the two.
" Nope" lily added smiling.
" Okay"
They all talk until James stood up.
" We should change.. Hogwarts is almost here" he say
" Yeah we should" lily added.
" So.. boys.. get out of the compartment so that we can change" marlene yelled.
Boys left and come back after changing. Girls have also changed to their school robes.

When they came out of the train they saw Hagrid and the first years following him.
Their friends made their way to the carriages and they went to look for the first years. When they were don't they came back to see their friends were waiting for the two.

" Oh you guys waited for us?" Lily asked cheerfully.
" What were you expecting lily flower? Some alone time with our prongs.. nooooooo!" Sirius say smirking.
James and I gave him a glare and we made our way to the carriage.
There will 3 girls already in there when they all joined.
Remus Alice and Peter sat on the seats and sirius and James went to make seat for them too.
" Uh oh--" Alice say.
" What?" Marlene asked raising an eyebrow.
" Where will you two sit now?" Alice asked to marlene and lily.
" Oh no" lily said realising no seats have left for them.
" Well it's not a big prob" marlene say and sat on sirius lap. Sirius smirked.
Lily gave her friend a shocking expression and marlene smirked.
" Well lily you can sit on someone's lap too" she said smirking.
James who was looking at lily then looked at marlene.
" Oh lilyflower there is always a seat for you.. right Jamsie?" Sirius said gesturing to his best friend.
" WHAT?" lily almost shouted.
" Lily you can sit on my seat if you want I will sit on James lap" A girl from the seat next to Alice spoke in a flirty way winking at James.
Lily felt twing of jealousy in her stomach.
" NO! Thank-you" and without wasting a moment she sat on James lap.
Everyone looked at her in disbelief.
" What ?" James asked everyone so that lily wouldn't get embarrassed.
Everyone look away and sirius and marlene smirked and whispered something to each other.
" You don't have to feel embarassed" James whispered in lily ear.

She felt a shiver down her throat and her heart beat became faster when she realised how close they were. She was on his lap and his lips were near her shoulder. His breathes were touching her bare skin every second.

" Yeah Thankyou" she whispered back.
They both grinned like idiots.

" What happen to you guys?" Alice asked carefully.
" Nothing" they would replied at the same time. Which make them blush.
" Ohhhh There is something going on I see" sirius say in a sing song way
" Oh shuts it sirius" lily replied quickly controlling her blush.
"Alright alright" sirius added with a smirk.

After sometime they reach the gate of Hogwarts and all were more than happy to be their again. For the last time.
