Taking a deep breath and leaning back on his chair starched his body and picking his phone from the desk looks at time and thought of heading home.

His gaze landed on his wallpaper and couldn't help but smile seeing his wife photo. His wife, mere mention of her name his hearts starts fluttering.

With his thumb he caressed the photo of her and brought closer to his lips placed a kiss and thought the day he secretly clicked her photo when she wasn't looking at his way. He smiles remembering how gorgeous and beautiful she looked when he took her out for dinner after hectic day of hers.

He was so grateful and blessed to marry a wonderful woman on earth. There wasn't a single day he never forgotten to thank god for blessing him with such beautiful angel in his life. His trance was broken when he heard the door open revealing Arjun. He puts his phone on desk and looks at him.

Arjun walks inside with a file and placed it on Manik's desk who straightened himself and glances at the file before picking it off and reading through the file before glancing at Arjun in between.

Manik : what is this? Why isn't this deal signed off yet? What are you waiting for? Didn't you send it up the client yet? What are you doing Arjun?

Arjun : sir, it needs your signature and approval before I sent it off. Can you please have look?

Manik : why didn't you say earlier? I will sign it off. I will take this file with me and get signed by Nandini itself later. I don't want waste much time as it's already wasted. Just send a copy of this file to Nandini and her Pa and copy me in the email.

Arjun nodded his head and after discussing with Manik about others few projects leaves while Manik looks at the file and smirks widely as he thought of his wife reaction when he gives her this file.

Shaking his head he looking the time thought to finally end the day with a good news to give to his wife. He puts the file in his bag and saving his work and closing the computers and laptop and putting his laptop in his bag he stood up.

He shoves his phone in his pocket after dropping a message to his wife and grabbing his blazer from the chair held it on his left hand and taking his bag turns the lights off and locking his cabin walks out of his cabin and seeing Arjun last time made his way to his car park and calls his bodyguards.

He told his bodyguards not follow him and dismissing them walks to his car and opening the car kept his bag on the backseat and the blazer.

He settles himself on the driver seat and started the engine drove away to his wife office with a smile and humming his own song. It didn't take him long to arrive at Nandini's office. He comes out of the car and thought of going inside but stopped when an idea strikes into his head and grins loudly.

He took his phone out and dials her number who picked up immediately, he smiles when he heard her smoothing voice and leans against the car with his one hand in his pocket and felt so content.

Nandini: hello Manik. I have received your message. It's okay. I will drive myself home. Even I will be finishing soon. I will call you once I reach home. Hello Manik, are you listening to me?

Manik held his chuckle back and looking at her office felt so proud and delighted seeing his wife achievements. Just within few months she has hit milestones and made her company so success.

Manik : hello sunshine. Can you please come by the window? I have small surprise for you?

Nandini frowns while sitting her office and hearing his words made him more confused because of his call she received his message stating he will be working till late therefore he won't be picking her up but nevertheless she stood and made her to the window side bombarded him with questions.

He ignores her questions and chuckles whereas Nandini speeding her face walks to the window side and her eye widened in shock when her eyes fells over her husband who stood outside of her office with his stuffed in his pocket and talking to her. Utterly she looked shocked seeing him.

He smirks and waves her hand who was still in daze thinking if she was dreaming about her husband being there outside of her office.

Ending the call she composed herself and glances at him before rushing back inside and quickly packing her stuff she rushed outside of the cabin and informing Siya and receptions to finish early, she sprinted out of the office.

Whereas Manik looks confused when he noticed his wife running back inside and ending the call. He sighs and looks at his phone screen before dialing her number but she didn't answers it.

He stood there thinking what if she didn't liked his surprise. What if he actually fucked it but his thoughts and tension faded away when he heard her voice. He looks at her way where she came rubbing him towards him and crashed into his arm.

He smiles and let's a chuckle escape from his mouth as he wraps his arm around her waist pulling her closer to his chest and heard her murmuring against his chest while hitting him gently.

Nandini : you lied to me. I hate you so much. Why did you had to lie? I got scared for a second.

He chuckles and placing kiss on her head breaks the hug and cupping her face strokes her face while tucking her loose hairy strand behind her ear.

Manik: I am so sorry sunshine. I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to surprise you.

Nandini : it's okay. Next don't that. You said you will be working till late night then how come you here? And you wouldn't be picking me up?

Manik : i was going to work till late night then chuckled because past few days I have been working till late nights and not having you time. I am exhausted and tired of working most of days and I thought to head home early so I can send some time with you. I wanted to cuddle with you.

Nandini looks at him and her heart melted seeing her husband so adorable. She couldn't help but pull his both cheeks making him winch in pain.

Nandini : aww! You are so adorable Manik.

Manik glares his wife and rubbing his cheek.

Manik : sunshine. I am not adorable. Don't call me that and also don't pull cheeks. It hurts.

She burst out laughing pulling his cheek again and Manik couldn't help but admire his wife as she laughed carful smoothing his heart.

Manik : do you want to drive sunshine or shall I?

Nandini : I will skip today. I don't feel like driving. You can drive today. Can we get ice cream too?

He looks at her and was about to refuse her but she pulls a puppy face that he couldn't say so and eventually he nodded his head making her happy.

Manik opens the door his wife and gestures her to get inside and Nandini mumbling a thank to him sat down and looks at him who closing the door and rushed his side setting himself down.

He puts the seatbelt on and started the engine drove way to ice cream place for his wife. He glances at his wife who comfortable sat down and turning the music on starts singing along making him smile.

He stops at the the ice cream shop and asking her what favour she went he rushed out of the car and brought their ice cream and settling himself back down starts driving while having his ice cream.

Having her own ice cream she eyes his and wanted to have it. She softy calls his name out who glances at her and through his eyes asks her.

Nandini : can I try yours? It's look really good and attempting please? You can have mine too.

He looks at her and shake his head before handing his ice cream to her who happily took a bite and closed her eyes feeling heaven. He chuckles at antics and shifted his gaze on the road.

Enjoying both of the ice cream she looked really happy and pleased. All sudden she smiles widely when she heard the rain. Manik looks at his wife who rolls the window and putting her hand out feeling the raindrops.

Manik : sunshine. What are you doing? It's raining. You just had ice cream and putting your hand out. You will catch cold. Close the window.

Ignoring his words she didn't cared about getting ill because seeing the rain made her mind wander how beautiful and peaceful it looks while raining.

Manik cursed and groaned frustratedly when the car starts pouring heavily and on top that his car stopped working in middle of the road.

He couldn't even call his driver or bodyguards because he wanted to trouble them. He ran his finger through his hair and got startled when the door of the car opens and his wife walks out of the car spreading her arms out and closing her eyes.

He looks at her who stood in the middle of the road and loving the rain as the droplets of the rain over her body. Her body was drenched and her clothes was sticking her to body showing the curves.

He took a deep breath as he stares his wife who didn't bothered noticing his intense gaze on her. He felt his throat drying up as he looks at her.

He felt so jealous and angry seeing the rain falling over her body. Clenching his jaw his eyes landed on her lips that was so relatable. He was dying to kiss her and confess how much he loves her.

The moment he realised his love for her he found it really difficult control his heart and he was so close confessing few day back but held it by making the mistake. He wanted to confess his love in such way that she feels happy and proud of him.

His trance was broken when he heard her soft voice. He chucked his thoughts away and looking at her starts becoming possessive and comes out of the car and made his way towards her calling her name out.

Manik : sunshine. What are you doing? Please get inside the car otherwise you will catch cold.

He tried his best not get distracted by her body especially her lips that was calling him to kiss her. He shakes his head removing the thoughts away and looks at her who protest and pulls him closer.

Nandini : Manik don't be silly. Look at the rain. It's so beautiful. Please let's enjoy it. I was always wanted to dance in the rain. Please one dance.

He looks at her and again his heart fell over again for her as he nodded his head not caring about getting drenched in the rain and placing his hand around her waist and pulling her closer stats dancing.

It felt like dream for them dancing in the rain. They both were lost in each other eyes as they stared deeply in each other conveying their love for his each other and didn't wanted to look away.

His eyes again fell over her lips that were covered with droplets of the rain. He looks at her who was eyeing his lips. He leans forward and his lips were almost touching hers when whispered.

Manik : sunshine. Can I kiss you? Please. I have controlling myself not kiss you but I can't help it.

She looks at her and smiling at herself she leans forward and wraps her arms around his neck and softly whispers giving him the permission.

Once he got the permission from her he didn't waste any second before smashing his lips against hers and the rain pouring over their body was blessing.

His arms went around her waist as he pulls her closer not leaving the air pass between them and deepening the kiss pours his entire love.

He broke the kiss once he felt she was breathless and looking at him rubs her lips with thumb before taking her another kiss and this time he kissed her harder and softly whispered against her lips.

Manik : I love you sunshine. I love you so much.

He finally confessed and breaking the kiss looks at her who smiles widely hearing his confession. He looks at her who tiptoes and pulling him closer leans to his lips and with a smile whispers to him.

Nandini : I love you too Manik. I really love you.

His heart flutters up as she heard her confessing her love for him and couldn't hold himself capturing her lips again for passionate kiss and murmuring I love to her again whereas she was on cloud nine hearing him and couldn't get tired of him confessing.

He broke the kiss and rested his head against as he whispers I love you to her again to which she replied back and even the rain stops raining.

He looked concerned when her body starts shivering. He quickly embraced her in his arms and starts walking to them. He took his blazer and wraps it around her body and kisses her head.

Manik : let's get inside the car and get you warmed up otherwise you will definitely fall in.

She nodded her head and quickly got inside the car and Manik settling himself turns the heating and pulls her closer and starts rubbing her face giving her warmth. He looks at the rain that stopped,

Manik: my phone is also dead. Sunshine have you yon your phone. I need to call Cabir or Dhruv.

Nandini nodded her head and told him the handbag. He took her handbag and opening her phone dials Dhruv's number while warning her up.
