I'll fight for you~ Hinny (Part I)

This two shot was requested by Guardian_of_Fandoms so thank you for the request and I hope it's good!

***

Ginny was overjoyed when she entered the Room of Requirement and saw the sparkling green eyes that could only belong to the Chosen One.

She smiled at him warmly, and he smiled back. Then she noticed a beautiful brown eyed girl.

Cho Chang.

Ginny's fists clenched by her sides. She hated Cho with all her heart. The girl had done too much and had hurt a lot of people.

One of those unforgivable things was taking Harry away from her. Ginny knew that Cho still had a crush on the Boy who Lived. Even though she was dating Michael Corner, her ex.

But now she was Harry's and he was her's. She wouldn't give him up, not for this world. Not even Voldemort could make her do it. She loved him too damn (dam) much to not even do anything for him. If he was protecting her, she would too.

A voice startled Ginny out of her thoughts. It was a soft, quite tentative voice that had to be Luna Lovegood's.

"Ginevra, are you alright?" The blonde girl asked her gently.

"Oh, I'm fine, Luna." Ginny said. "You know you can call me Ginny, right?"

Luna shook her head. "Nicknames are considered to be bad luck. My father told me so. They attract nargles because like mistletoe, a nickname is a sort of name you call a loved one."

Ginny blinked. For all her faults, which weren't many, Luna was a wise girl. A true Ravenclaw, worthy of Rowena herself.

"But I'm sure you're not alright." Luna surveyed the redheaded girl through those soft and mystical eyes. "You just have that look in your eye. Jealously."

"I-I'm fine." Ginny turned away. "But thank you for asking."

"I'm here for you, Ginevra. Okay?"

Luna's tone held clear sincerity and love for Ginny, and made Ginny feel much better. "Okay." She nodded.

Harry was talking about the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw. She felt anger flare up in her when Cho offered to go with Harry, batting her eyelashes.

"No, Luna will go with Harry, won't you, Luna?" Ginny said as fiercely as she could manage. She was not having that bitch go with her boyfriend. And she wasn't going to let him get away from her that easy.

Luna nodded eagerly. "I would love to!"

Ginny cast a sideways look at Harry, and he smiled at her knowingly, causing her to blush. He chuckled softly as he walked outside with Luna.

"Ginny... A word, please?" Cho asked her quietly.

Ginny nodded and walked over to a corner with her. "Okay, Cho. What's wrong?"

"I'm so sorry!" Cho cried, throwing her arms around Ginny and starting to weep quite dramatically. Even though it was real, she felt uncomfortable, and just patted the dark haired girl on the back awkwardly.

"It's okay... Calm down... You haven't done anything wrong, so why are you crying?" Ginny asked curiously.

"I sold you out when we were in the DA. I... I stole Harry away from you. Why..." She hiccuped. "Would you not hate me?"

"Oh that?" Ginny laughed. "It's past me now. Harry's my boyfriend and I love him."

Cho nodded and wiped away her tears. "Thank you for understanding and listening to me, Ginny. You and Harry do match together."

Ginny went pink, but smiled. "Thanks Cho. I hope everyone thinks that..."

Harry was definitely going to die.

He knew it ever since he lost the white bearded Headmaster that had kept them all safe for so long.

And since that slimeball of a Snape took over control of Hogwarts.

Now, as he ran down the corridor, looking at all the people that had died and suffered for him, he felt even more rage at the Dark Lord, who's bloody butt he was going to kick.

.... He had definitely been around Ron and Ginny too much.

Ginny.

Harry's mind immediately floated over to her, much to his annoyance. How could he focus when he was thinking of such a vision of loveliness?

But he loved her beyond anything else. She was his special Weasley, and only his to always love. More than his friends, she had always been special to him. And now, it was in a different way, but she was special.

"Harry, are you going to spend all your time dreaming about Ginny or help us?" A voice that undoubtedly belonged to Hermione snapped him out of his thoughts.

She sounded amused and exasperated, but he blushed.

"TODAY will be fine, mate!" Ron interjected sarcastically. Hermione swatted him on the arm, grinning all the same.

Harry rolled his eyes as he shot the next spell towards a Death Eater coming their way.

Then he saw a red haired girl run out onto the battlefield, zapping Death Eaters with bat boogey hexes.

"Is that..." He began. Ron and Hermione turned to look at the figure too.

"Nobody." Ron grinned widely. "Can cast a bat boogey hex as well as my sister can. Oy Ginny! Over here!"

His exclamation distracted her, if only for a second, and while she was running over, Dolohov took aim at her back. Harry growled. Nobody touched her. "PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" He yelled, wand pointed straight at the Death Eater.

"Harry!" Ginny hugged him. "Thanks for the assist."

"Anytime, Gin." Harry gazed at her lovingly. She smiled back and kissed him gently on the cheek.

"Come on, Potter. The faster we beat Voldemort, the better for everyone."

They fought their way through the crowds of people dueling with Voldemort's army, until they reached the Dark Lord himself.

"PROTEGO!" Harry yelled, casting a shield charm so powerful, the people around him were pushed away, which was fine for him. This battle was between him and Riddle.

"Harry Potter..." Voldemort hissed, walking towards the Boy who Lived.

Everyone cleared a path for him, and his lipless mouth stretched into a wide smile at the sight of Harry holding his wand pointed at him.

"Tom Riddle." Harry smirked confidently.

"You seem quite spirited, boy. Did you forget, no Dumbledore to come and save you now. No mummy and daddy to run to. Nobody's going to save you this time. And you will die." Riddle laughed, as if the final sentence brought him great joy.

Which it probably did, to be honest.

Ginny, who was behind Harry, shouted, "Just you wait, Voldy! Harry will punch you right in your nos- Oh wait. You don't have one."

People snickered at her scathing comment, and Riddle's face grew redder with rage. Harry pushed Ginny back. "Gin. Don't."

She stepped away, looking quite reluctant. "Harry-"

He touched her shoulder. "I'll be fine. And after this battle, I'll meet you. And I promise, I'll be fine."

She kissed him. "You better be, or I'll kill you."

Harry faced Riddle, wand held in hand. "Okay, Tom. It's you and me. And I'm winning."
