The sunrays hit her eyes slowly and she groaned in response,not wanting to open them. Covering the blanket up to her face,to avoid the direct attack of sun rays,she tossed in her place and ended up falling down from the swing with a thud. A loud shriek left her mouth when her little warm body hit the ground. Rubbing her eye with her right hand and caressing her butt with the left one,Sonakshi slowly opened her eyes,adjusting it with the sunrays. A SMILE appeared on her face when she remembered last night's happenings.

The way her head rested on the crook of his neck and his' upon her head. Her sleepless eyes,drew in the ocean of sleep as if she was sleeping after zillions of sleepless night. The way his hand unknowingly glided into her side,pulling her more into him to cuddle alittle didn't went unnoticed by her sleepyself. She was even able to count his calm heartbeats even in her deep slumber. The tiniest memory of him from lastnight,was alive in her head minus his exit. His absence beside her was the saddest part of her bright morning which didn't failed to show up on her face,resulting the tiny zigzag crossing on her forehead. But the blanket upon her and the fact that he himself clothe it to her,somehow undrow the zigzag pattern of her forehead.Taking in the view of fully raised sun and of terrace,everything seemed extra beautiful to her.

She would loved to be there and rewind those beautiful moments of them on loop mode in the back of her head but the thought of not being able to see dev for the rest of the day,made her rush down and hurry up with her morning duties just to have a glimpse of him on the breakfast table.

Dev who was getting ready for office,was feeling a strange calmness within himself. Though he felt extremely bad for Sonakshi after listening to her life' story but the fact that he is the one who was able to sooth her alittle by just being there for her made him believe in himself that yes he is also capable to sooth someone. From the past one year where he has caged himself in the web of his own agony here this broken girl brought calmness for him with her wounded soul,The calmness of being able to be there for someone who cares for him.

The moment when he opened his eyes early in the morning brought a new light into his life. He found himself sleeping beside Sonakshi on the swing with his one hand holding her tight to himself. Her head which was resting on his shoulder,previous night was now resting on his chest. The slow breathing of her was burning his covered chest with wormness. Her one hand was resting on his left thigh while the other one was resting on her lap. His feets were numb,totally numb because of his uncofortable yet most comfortable position. Sonakshi was sleeping beside him,close to his heart,breathing in him. His faded brown lips curved upwards,tucking some hair strands behind her ears. She looked angelic in her sleeping state. Her face was glowing under the lite orange sun rays which were peeping through the edge of the sky. Not wanting to break her sleep he adjusted her fragile body on the swing carefully and immediately left the place only to come back within few seconds with a blanket in his hand.

Grabbing the blanket in her fists Sonakshi adjusted it over herself with her own accord and started snoring again. A silly smile broke onto his lips,seeing her still sleeping like a baby. This morning seemed more brighter for him. For the first time In the past one year,He saw the glimpse of his old self. The old him who has only one aim in his life which is spread happiness into the life of People whom he cherish the most. The old him who used to find happiness in other's. He indeed found his happiness in the innocent smile of hers.

The constant chearful laugh from the dining area made Sonakshi eager to go and be a part of it that much that she skiped few stairs on her way. Reaching at the dining area her curved up lips went flat seeing the scene unfolding infront of her eyes. Everybody were laughing their heart out listening to the random stories of Aanya. Niki was laughing like maniac,clutching her stomach while Ishwari was trying hard to suppress her growing urge to laugh like a idiot. Ramnath was the one who joined niki in her loud laugh and Radharani was just smiling. Everybody were present there except then dev and Ayaan.

Auhhhh....Stop it Di.....Now I can't laugh....Your childhood Stories are so cute and funny.....Auhhh my stomach hurts..... ; Niki claimed in her laughing tone and tried to catch some breaths. She almost forgot to breath while laughing. Aanya who was standing beside Niki held her hands up in surrender and the next moment when both Aanya and Niki looked at each-other they again broke into the series of laughter.

Hey,Sonakshi......Why are you standing there.....Come here and listen to the great stories of Aanya...... ; Ishwari says with a hearty smile,breaking the reverie of Sonakshi. Everybody snaps their head towards Sonakshi with the same hearty smile but for the first time she didn't reciprocate the same smile but just curved up her lips into a fake smile. She felt something burning inside her heart. Though she knows that they mingle up with people like this only but still her heart burns in jealousy seeing Aanya getting the same attention from them.

Come have your breakfast.....Today Aanya helped me.....She is such a sweet heart..... ; Ishwari praised Aanya. Smiling sheepishly over the complement Aanya lowered her gaze feeling shy like a KG kid who blushes over his favourite teacher's praising.

Composing herself back and trying to past a wide smile on her face Sonakshi started moving towards the dinning area slowly. Her eyes roamed around to find Dev and Ayaan. Has he left for office already? ; Sonakshi wondered. Radharani who was smiling few seconds ago rolled her eyes over Sonakshi just to make her feel like the unwanted person. Her poor heart weeped silently feeling aloof from the tiny family which became her life in the short time. The thought of being left out alone again started to over power her mind which caused her lacrimal glands to supply tears to the corners of her eyes.

Before the tears could fell down or blur her vision Ayaan's tiny hands looped around her knees from back. His soft giggles filled her heart with pure bliss fadding all the other emotions. Her lips broke down into a wide grin which reached till her eyes. Dev who was standing few inches away from then facing Sonakshi's back smiled seeing the duo. Taking him into her arms Sonakshi ran noisy kisses all over his face making him squeal in happiness.

Good morning ; Dev wishes Sonakshi standing beside her. Her heart skiped a beat seeing him standing close to her though there was a ample amount of distance inbetween them but she could hear her heartbeats into her own ears. Ayaan Smiled seeing dev and covers his eyes with his tiny hands chuckling loudly. Dev neared towards them saying babish things in a babish tone and tickles on the corners of his underarms making him squirm in Sonakshi's arms. A chuckle left from Sonakshi's mouth which was copied by dev too. Standing aloof from others the trio shared a beautiful moment with each-other.

Awwww.......Look at his smile...... ; Niki spoke loudly seeing the trio lost in their own little world. Her statement broke their happy moment only to lead a brief eyelock between Devakshi. Their happiness spread-ed into the deepest corner of their eyes with the same twinkle in their eyes. Ayaan's clapping broke their reverie bringing them back to the reality.

Smiling at each-other they Walked till the dining area. Pulling a chair for Sonakshi Dev gestured her to sit first with Ayaan in her lap. Brushing his hand with her's causing tiny goosebumps on her body Dev sits next to her. Aanya who witnessed the tiny happy moment of dev find herself grinning like a fool. There wasn't any doubt that she felt a little attraction towards him on the first place when she saw him but his down to earth nature is making her fall for him like a teenage girl. She was felling a constant pull towards him. Did she already started falling in love with him?

Why are you serving her? She isn't a family member but just a mere Nanny...... ; Radharani says in her cold tone stoping Aanya from serving Sonakshi. Ishwari gasp inaudibly and the others felt sorry for Sonakshi. Sonakshi lowered her eyes feeling insulted on the other hand Dev who was sitting next to Sonakshi fisted his hand feeling angry over the hurtful words of her. The way she treats Sonakshi like a piece of trash didn't went unnoticed by him.

She can't eat this.....She had a fever yesterday so she can't these oily Paranthas. Kichu bhaiya Please make some healty and lite Sandwiches for her....... ; Dev Spoke concernly and fill her plate with Some fruits. Her stomach twisted a little and she could feel a little tug inside her throbbing heart.

I'll feed Aayan for today.....You should have these first......You need more energy to work.....I don't want to see you falling ill again...... ; Dev spoke again taking Ayaan in his arms from her totally ignoring the amused looks of Radharani. He never had the courage of speaking against her and now just because of a girl,a trash like girl he went against her words. Smashing the morsel in her hand Radharani burn in anger and her dislike towards turned into hatred.

Ohh It totally skiped from my mind.....I am so sorry Sonakshi I totally forget about it....Please Don't eat these paranthas....Kichu please hurry up....... ; Ishwari says in her guilty tone. It actually skiped from her mind that Sonakshi shouldn't eat oily food at this time and the rude behaviour of her sister towards this beautiful soul made her feel more guilty and sorry for her.

No... I am fine with the fruits only and I actually don't have any appetite....I am already running late for the theatre so I should take your leave..... ; Sonakshi blabbers filling her mouth with the tiny piece of fruits and stood up from her chair to leave.

Wait for me....I wants to talk about something important....I hope you won't mind waiting a little... ; Dev ordered her softly. Nodding her head in a yes Sonakshi left the house saying she's waiting for him outside. She needed some fresh air to swallow down all the things happened with her. She found herself flowing in the pool of some unfeeled feelings. Everything seems different to her. She felt jealous,betrayed,scared,blissful,happy......Aurhhh....Her mind would explode if she tried to rethink about the sudden change in her.

Tapping her feet on the ground she waited for Dev with a burning sensation in her Stomach. She wasn't ready to talk about anything with him. WILL he talk about yesterday or about the recant happening......; her mind kept imagining scenarios of her' and dev'. But at the same time she shrugged all her baseless thoughts and started to chew her nails in irritation.

We shouldn't chew our nails..It's a bad habit,isn't it? ; Dev says coming infront of her from nowhere. Sonakshi stir at her place listening to him and immediately shoved her fingers away from her mouth,smiling awkwardly.

Shall we go now? ; He asks opening the front seat door for her. Nodding in yes she hopped in quickly. Smiling at her antics dev closes the door and hopped in into the driving seat. Giving her a assuring smile dev drove towards the theatre first.

You wanted to talk about something important..... ; Bearing the silence from the past 15 mins Sonakshi couldn't hold back her words within her and ininciate a talk with him. His silence make her anxious. The peaceful silence between them felt punctured with the overloaded questions in her mind. Aanya's entry did make her little anxious and scared both at the same time. Blinking his eyes rapidly and kept driving until they reach their destination. Sonakshi fleshed a tired look and waited for him to speak up.

I won't say sorry on the behalf of Badi Maa. Her bitter experiences made her toxic. You should concentrate on the good people around you rather than the ones who drives you mad.... And you exactly knows that who needs your attention and who doesn't ; Dev tries to explain her to ignor Radharani,"indirectly". Not only Sonakshi but he himself was shocked with his own words. He didn't even thought to say such things even in his dreams but he actually said it to her because he wanted to see her happy.

But the fear of losing my loved ones hunts me even in my sensible state. I can bear anything to stay with the one whom I love.... ; Sonakshi confessed her fear infront of him "indirectly". She knows that she shouldn't be this much attached with them because there will be a day when she have to leave them all. And the subconscious part of her mind knew that the time is nearing but her heart refuses to think about it. She wants to love someone unconditionally and to be loved too.

If people are ment to be in your life they will. Nobody can part you away from them if they are ment to be at the place.....My Kaku used to say this to me..... ; Dev says with a faint smile remembering the time when his Kaku used to say such things to him. His heart went back to the locked rooms where he had locked the most beautiful stories of his life. Sonakshi smiled seeing the faint smile on his lips. All her insecurities,anxiety,fears vanished listening to the mere words from him. She believed in him and let herself free from her made insecurities.

I think I should take your leave now. We both are getting late.... ; Sonakshi says snapping him back to reality. Smiling at him Sonakshi unlocked her seatbelt and steeped out of the car waving him goodbye.

Sonakshi..... ; Dev calls her from behind. He hardly calls her by her name but when he did she couldn't stop herself from feeling how special it sounds. Becomes with a lunch box in his hands.

I know you are still hungry.....These Sandwiches will lessen your hunger and will give you energy too and they aren't too much teastless..... ; Dev says winking at her. Her hearty chuckle filled his ears making him smile. Snatching the launch box from him Sonakshi took out one Sandwich from it and handed it to him. Stuffing the half part of another one inside her mouth Sonakshi ran inside the theatre waving her hand. Gazing the Sandwich for few seconds he too glut it inside his mouth just like her and left for his office.
