Leaning back on his chair he took a deep sigh and glances at the clock. It was almost midnight and he was still in office engrossed on his laptop competing his work because tomorrow is flying to Jaisalmer.

They were going to have wedding the in Jaisalmer because Manik wanted to his Nandini to have wedding like she dreamed to have. One day they were spending times together and Nandini revealed how she wished to have her own wedding in Rajasthan. How can he not accomplish making his Nandini wish come true. He could anything to make her happy and seeing the smile on her faces makes his day. He smiles and took his phone out.

He glances at his phone and found so many miscalled and messages from his family. He scrolled down the message and stops scrolling when he noticed Nandini called him and left a message.

He took deep breath and closing his laptop and packed his stuff and grabbing the blazer placed it on his left hand wrist and switching the lights off walks out of the cabin and locked it and walks through the corridor. No one was present at the office expect himself and his bodyguards and security team.

Dialling his mother number pushed door and looks at the guards who greets him. He gave a nod and gestures him to lock up the office and passing a them soft smile he made his way towards his car.

Neyoinka : hello Manik. Where are you? Do you even realise the time? Are you still office? You don't even care about your health. You are becoming like your father who only cares about his office work.

He rolls his eyes hearing his mother scolding. He opens the door and puts his bag on the passenger seat and took his seat. He closed the door and connected his phone to the Bluetooth while fastening his seatbelt. He started the engine.

Manik : hello mom. I am sorry I didn't noticed my phone ringing when you called. I was so engrossed in my work I didn't even realised how late it is. Mom I on my way to home. Are you still waiting for me?

Neyoinka: I don't know what to do with you Manik. I hate it when you neglect your family and health because of the work you have. I am your mother Manik. I can't sleep knowing my son is still in office and working without eating anything. How could I sleep? I can't sleep without seeing you Manik.

Manik : I'm sorry mom. Mom please go back to sleep and don't worry about. I will be late and won't be returning home because I am thinking about visiting Nandini. She is upset with me. Mom you should go sleep.

Neyoinka : it's very late Manik. How will you go there? What will her family think about you? You can meet her tomorrow. Don't be silly and come back home. I don't want you spoiling her sleep.

Manik : mom please understand. I will back within few hours. You don't worry. I won't spoil her sleep.

Neyoinka sighs and tried explaining him but Manik Malthora doesn't listen to anyone if he decides to do what he wants. No one can make him change this mind. Neyoinka told him to take care and ended the call. He also ruffles his hair and increased the speed and drove to Murthy's mansion wanting to see her.

He comes out of the car and looking at the time on his watch he thought was it right thing to come but chucking his thoughts took his phone out and thought of calling her but didn't wanted to disturb her. He roams his eyes around and thought to how to enter inside the mansion without getting caught.

He walked to the other side of mansion and looks up seeing lights coming from Nandini's room. He smiles and took his phone out dials her number knowing she isn't sleeping but awake. He shoves his one hand in his pocket and leans against the tree and looks up.

Nandini who wasn't able to sleep because Manik wasn't answering his phone or replying her messages. She looked at worried and startled.

To avoid her startled she took a book and sat resting her head against the headboard and covering her legs with a duvet she took one of her favourite book and starts reading. She was so engrossed didn't realised she was half through the book and didn't notice the time neither.

Her phone starts ringing disturbing her. She groans and closing the book searched for her phone but didn't found it and the ring stops she smiles and got back to reading again but the phone starts to ring.

Frustratedly she closed the book and jumping out of the bed she removes the duvet and found her phone in between. She took her phone and without looking at the caller id she starts lashing on the person.

Nandini : hello! What the heck? Who the heck are you? Who calls at this time? Didn't you see the time before dialling the number? Didn't your mother teach you any manners not call a girl at this late? Now why are you saying anything? Speak up?

On other hand Manik held his chuckle back and wondered how will pacify his angry bird.

Manik: hello sunshine. How will I speak if you don't even let me speak? I must say you talk a lot.

Her eyes widened in shock as she heard his beige and slapped her head removing the phone and staring at the caller id. Cursing at herself she took shawl and wrapping around her body she walks to balcony not realising she was making his life much better. He looks at her and smirks as he saw her.

Nandini : Manik. Is that you. That's so stupid. Because it's you. I'm sorry I didn't see my phone when I answered the call. Why didn't you stop me? I spoke so rubbish about you. I am sorry Manik.

Manik chuckles and looks at her who looked elegant beautiful standing the balcony and glowing.

Manik : it's alright sunshine. It didn't hurt my feelings. In fact I deserved it. I am sorry for making you upset. I didn't answer your calls or messages. I didn't even tried to meet you. I am really sorry.

Nandini : no it's okay. It was my fault. I shouldn't have disturbed you. I knew you were busy still I was calling you. I am sorry Manik. I should have underhand how much difficult and hard is for you.

Manik : hey! I said na. It's okay baba. Now can you please do me favour? Can you please look down?

Frowning herself and looking confused trying to find but he hide behind the tree and chuckles. Nevertheless shaking her head she looks down and looks at him who held his ears and comes out behind the tree and mouthed a sorry making her chuckle.

He looked so adorable and cute while holding his one ears and mouthing sorry. She couldn't resist herself from going on awe on his cuteness and felt herself falling for him harder. He looks at her and smiles gesturing her to come but she chuckles.

Holding her laughter back she ended the hall and headed inside the room making him confused and worried wondering what if she got angry on him.

His lips curves into a wide smile when he heard her anklets sound. Her anklets noises were making his heart flutter as she hurriedly ran barefoot through the backyard without caring about getting hurt.

He smiles widely and opens his eyes who stops reaching closer to him and staring his eyes when he blinked she crashed into his arms and smiles.

He wraps his arms around her shoulder and pulls closer to his heart and dropped a kiss on her head. She also wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged so tightly. He tightened the hug and starts caressing her hair gently. He looked so content and finding solace having her in his arms after a long day.

He broke the hug and cupping her face brushed his thumbs against her cheeks and wipes the tears that rolled down her cheeks. He placed a kiss on her forehead and strokes her hair softly.

Manik : I am really sorry sunshine. I should have not avoided you when you needed me the most. I promise to you it will never happen again. Please forgive me. How do I make up to you sunshine?

Nandini: i understand you Manik. You were busy. It must be difficult for you too because you are getting all your work done before you take two weeks for our marriage. I am sorry too. I should have thought of it before disturbing you. I feel my emotions is all over the place since I am going to start new beginning of my life. I don't know what is happening with me.

He looks at her and pulls in her his embrace who was ready to burst into tears. He knows what she is going through. He doesn't blame her for what she is feeling because he knows it can be difficult for a girl to leave their home behind and start new life with a stranger. He knows it won't be easy but he was going to anything in his power to keep her happy.

He dropped numerous of kisses on her head and pulls her closer into his chest who rested her head on his chest and starts to sobbed silently. His heart sank seeing her in tears but he let her sob because he knows it might make her feel better if she cries.

He strokes her hair softly and kissing her head last time broke the hug and cupping her face looks at her.

Manik : sunshine. I don't know what you are going through. I never relate myself what you are feeling about leaving your family behind but I can assure one thinking. My family is yours too. They will never treat you wrong. Everyone loves and adores you a lot. I don't know to make your pain lessen but you are not alone in this. Our whole family is with you.

Nandini looks at him and nodded her head understanding the whole is with her but still she can't help herself and cry within few days she will be married and going to leave her own house where she spent her whole childhood with her family.

She was going to miss everything about her family especially her brother when they used to bicker all the time. Her eyes brimmed with tears but she held the tears and looks at him who shook his head.

After having long conversation in the backyard and comforting Nandini he decided to leave for home but she didn't wanted him to go so she asked him to stay.

He nodded his head because he didn't wanted to leave her in this condition. They walked inside the mansion and went to Nandini's room. Nandini's stomach rumbled at then time making him chuckle whereas she looked so embarrassed and glares him.

Manik : it's okay! It happens. Did you skip your dinner? Why did you skip your dinner? It's not good for your health sunshine. You could get ill like this.

Nandini : sorry! Please don't scold. I was so sad and didn't feel like eating. Even though Amma forced me to eat but I couldn't digest the food and left the table before she could starts scolding me.

He chuckles and resisted himself not kiss her because she looked so cute and adorable making faces as she mocking her mother. He cups her face and placed a kiss on her forehead and asked her.

Manik : do you want to anything now? I can make you something. What do you want to eat darling?

Nandini : can you cook Manik? I never saw you cooking. No one told me you could cook. Wow!

Her eyes widened in shock when he revealed about coming. He chuckles and nodded his head. He held her hand and took her to kitchen and looks at her.

Manik : yes I can cook. Mom taught me cooking because was kind of interested and passion about cooking so i learnt while watching mom cook. Now tell what do you want to eat? I can make it for you.

Nandini : wow! I am impressed by mom. She taught you cooking. I am so proud and impressed with you too Manik. You make me feel so proud on you. Promise me you won't say no and will make whatever I want because I am craving a lot.

Manik : fine! I won't stop you from eating what you want to eat. What are you craving to eat?

Nandini : I really want to have Maggie with tea.

Manik : Maggie and tea. Is that even a food?

Nandini : yes it is! I want to eat. If you don't want to make it then I will make it myself.

He rolls his eyes and rolling his sleeves up of his shirt asked about the ingredients and starts cutting few veggies of her choice and looks at her who comfortable sat on the slab and watched him cooking. He smiles and continues with chopping.

He was stirring the Maggie while listening to Nandini who didn't leave a chance to lecture him about his own health. He mentally noted not make her upset facing her angry is worser than his own anger. He turns the gas off and looks at her who jumped down and starts squealing in happiness and joy smelling the Maggie aroma.

Manik plated it two plates and looking at her who held the cups walks out of kitchen and walks to her room. They both settled in balcony and sitting beside each other with laptop in front of them as Nandini requested to watch movie while having her Maggie.

He didn't refuse her and nodded his head. Even he wasn't a fan of watching the movie. He gave up because he wanted to see the happy.

He played the movie and she starts eating her Maggie while sipping the tea between with so much love. Her body was doing happy dance. He chuckles and adores whose focused was on the movie.
