Leo's POV

I sat with Travis, Connor and Percy during lunch. "Okay," Connor said. "New prank. Who should be our victim?" I pondered the thought. "Katie," Travis said. I barely noticed Connor mouth the word: love to Percy who smirked. Travis seemed to notice. "I don't like Katie," he said stiffly. "Sure you don't," Connor said, sarcasm laced in his voice. Travis punched his brother and they grinned. "Okay, what should we do?" Percy asked. Suddenly, Jason materialised from behind Percy. "A word," he said to Percy. I watched as Percy shook his head. "I'm busy," he said. Jason pulled him up and dragged Percy away. "That guy sucks," Travis said as soon as he was out of earshot. "Yeah," Connor and I both agreed. 

When Percy came back he sat down looking depressed. "What was that all about?" Travis asked. "Nothing," Percy said tightly. "It obviously wasn't nothing," Connor argued. "You don't have to tell us," I said. Percy nodded. "It honestly doesn't matter," he said. "Anyway, the prank...what will we do?" He gave us a lopsided smile and we continued to discuss our devious prank...

After lunch and before the next class, Maths, we set up our prank. Connor and Percy had to go to the other class while Travis and I stayed. Katie was the first in, other than us. She shoved open the door and a bucket of paint fell on her. She screeched out. "STOLL! VALDEZ! YOU ARE SO DEAD!" she yelled. "Can't hear you," Travis called back. All the other students in the class laughed at her. Katie stormed out. I wiped a tear from my eye. "Priceless," I said. Travis nodded, still laughing. 

When the teacher, Mrs Dodds, walked in, she stared at Travis and I. "Principal's office. Now." 

Percy and Connor were already in the principal's office, facing Mr Brunner. Travis and I sat down. "So..." Mr Brunner said. "You pranked Katie?" Percy nodded. "Yeah," he said in a rather disrespectful tone. "Perseus, please don't be disrespectful," Mr Brunner said. Percy winced at his full name yet he didn't correct it. He looked at his feet. 

"Why did you prank Katie?" Mr Brunner asked. "Cause it's fun," Connor said, smirking. Mr Brunner raised an eyebrow. "Is that so?" Travis nodded. "Yeah!" Mr Brunner looked at all of us. "Okay, then you did something bad and you need a punishment. Detention at the next break." All of us nodded. Better than getting suspended.

We were told to be quiet during detention. I grinned as my hands worked on the wires in my lap. I looked around the room. The teacher, Mrs Dodds, was on her phone. Percy was leaning back in his chair, obviously deep in thought. Travis and Connor had been talking too much and were placed on opposite sides of the room. They both looked depressed. 

After detention was over I beamed. When the day was finished I walked home with Percy, Travis and Connor. I noticed Katie walk over followed by Hazel. "You are all dead to me," Katie spat at us. I smirked. So did everyone else. "You still have a little paint on you!" Travis called. Katie fumed but continued on. She walked off and we went in seperate directions. I left the school happier than ever. 

Piper's POV

So, Jason and I were dating. Wow. He was...amazing and handsome and kind. I smiled as I walked out of school with Jason, clutching his hand. "So..." I said. "It's serious? We're together?" Jason nodded. "Of course!" he said. I saw his eyes flick to Percy trudging back alone. "What happened to you two?" I asked. "You used to be friends but...now you're not." Jason looked down at me. "He's too much of a troublemaker and...he's just annoying." I nodded. "Okay." Jason waved me good bye and I walked home. 

I checked my phone at home and saw that Annabeth was now friends with Percy. That brought a smile to my face. Then I remembered what Jason said about Percy. I put down my phone and lay down. My eyes closed and I fell asleep...

When I woke up it was dinner. I had burritos then went back to bed. 

I was freaking exhausted. 

Before I went to sleep I saw the sunset. Invisible paintbrushes painted the sky red, orange and yellow. I lay down and yawned. Sleep greeted me quickly.
