"That's not Stiles"
I sat next to Stiles's hospital bed, where he was asleep. I looked at him, tears in my eyes as he looked so peaceful sleeping. I looked down and intertwined my fingers with his.
"Come back to me, Stiles. Please." I choked. I looked up as the door opened and Stiles's dad walked in.
"Y/N, can you wait outside for a moment? The nurse wants to take some blood." He nodded. I returned it before letting Stiles's hand go and walking to the door. I gave one last look at Stiles before leaving the room.
"Y/N." Stilinski spoke. I looked at him, making him sigh.
"I don't know how you knew where Stiles was, but the doctor said that another half an hour, and he would have died, so thank you. You saved my son, and he's all that I have left. I can never thank you enough for that." He nodded. I returned it and smiled.
"Of course. I was happy to help, and I don't know what I would do if I lost him." I spoke. He nodded again.
"Go home, get some sleep, he'll be okay." Stilinski spoke.
"With all due respect, I'm not going anywhere. I told Stiles that I wouldn't leave him." I responded, making him give me a small smile.
"You're a good kid. Stiles is lucky to have you." He spoke. I gave him a small smile before sitting down in the chair in the hall. I rested my chin against my hand and let my eyes flutter shut.
Stiles's P.O.V
Stiles's eyes shot open as he heavily panted. He sat up and looked around the hospital room but scrambled up the bed as he saw the same thing with bandages wrapped around its head, walking around the room.
"What do you want?" he choked. The thing looked at him.
"I want you to get rid of everyone that you've ever loved. They're all here, it'd be so easy to do." The man whispered. Stiles shook his head and gulped as he stood up. He walked to the window that looked into the corridor and parted the blinds slightly. He choked as Y/N sat there, tears running down her face as she slept.
"Oh, Y/N." he whispered, tears pooling in his own eyes.
"I've got a riddle for you, Stiles." The thing spoke. Stiles looked over his shoulder at him.
"Everyone has it, but no one can lose it. What is it?" he hissed. Stiles shook his head.
"I don't know." He choked.
"Yes, you do. Everyone has it, but no one can lose it." He whispered.
"Repeating it won't make me suddenly know the answer." He choked.
"You know it, Stiles! Think!" he shouted.
"I DON'T KNOW!" he yelled back, tears running down his face. He looked back out the window, at Y/N. His eyes widened.
"If I answer correctly, will you let me go?" he asked.
"Of course. I'll let her live too." The thing whispered as it started to undo the bandages around its head. Stiles gulped, tears falling from his eyes.
"Everyone has it, but no one can lose it." He repeated before slowly turning around. His eyes wavered as he saw the thing's face.
"A shadow." He choked. The thing stood there, smirking as it looked at Stiles using his own face.
"I lied." The thing stated.
"I'm not letting you go."
Void Stiles opened his eyes and looked around. He slowly sat up and assessed the room. He stood up and pulled the blinds on the window apart slightly so that he could see out into the hospital corridor. He smirked as he saw Y/N in the chair, asleep. He shook his head as he took his hospital gown off and pulled on his jeans and his T-shirt before putting on his shoes. He opened the door and wandered out. He fake-pouted as he crouched down in front of Y/N.
"Look at you. You have no idea that I'm not Stiles." He whispered, tracing his finger along her jaw. He smirked before standing up. He looked to the end of the hall and his smirk widened as he saw her standing there.
"Long time no see. You haven't aged a day." He spoke.
"You have." She spoke. He looked down at Stiles's body and smirked.
"Really? I'm in a seventeen-year-old boy and you're saying that I've aged? That's mean." He fake-pouted.
"You know that I won't lessen my efforts to kill you just because you've chosen an innocent boy as your host." She nodded. He smirked and looked at Y/N.
"Would you really kill an innocent boy who's in love?" he asked.
"You know the answer to that." She nodded, pulling her sword from its holder. Suddenly, four black figures appeared behind her, making Void Stiles's eyebrows raise.
"Wow. You brought the big guns. Or the big ninjas, to be more precise." He smirked before grabbing Y/N.
Y/N's P.O.V
My eyes shot open as Stiles grabbed me and pulled me in front of him.
"Stiles, what are you doing?!" I exclaimed.
"Using you as a shield against them." He smirked. My eyes widened as I saw the woman with the sword and the four masked men behind her.
"What the hell?" I whispered.
"You've already taken one innocent person, don't make that two." The woman spoke, her sword poised.
"Oh, I'm going to take many more. This one doesn't make a difference." He smirked, making me choke as he ghosted his lips over my earlobe. Something was wrong. This wasn't Stiles.
"Don't make me hurt her too." The woman spat.
"I don't care about her. Stiles may, but I don't." he scoffed, making my eyes widen. The woman scowled before saying something in Japanese, making one of the masked figures evaporate and re-appear in front of us. I screamed as it slashed out its sword, making a wide gash form in my side. I fell down as it went after Stiles. My eyes widened as Stiles grabbed the figure's sword and bent it with ease before slamming his hand against its chest. He pulled out, his hand in a fist as the figure evaporated but didn't come back. The woman repeated the same thing that she'd said before, making the second figure appear in front of Stiles. It slashed out its sword, which Stiles dodged with ease. He grabbed the sword and plunged it into the figure before ripping up, tearing the figure in two before catching the firefly that had flown from the figure's chest. I looked at the woman.
"Don't go, please." I choked.
"I'm sorry." she spoke before she disappeared, along with the other two figures. Stiles smirked and looked at me as he crushed the firefly that had been pulled from the figure's chest before kneeling down in front of me.
"I'm just going to take a look." He nodded, slowly peeling my top up to reveal the cut in my side. I winced as he looked at me and tutted.
"That must hurt like a bitch. Won't heal quickly either. Shame, really. I'm sure that Stiles won't like your body now that it's scarred." He fake-pouted.
"Stiles, what's wrong with you?" I choked. He smirked as he pressed his hand against my wound, making me scream out at the pain as I tried but failed to forced his hand away.
"Nothing. I've just woken up." He whispered, ghosting his lips over mine.
"Get away from her." Stiles smirked and dropped his head as Scott's voice echoed through the empty hall. He looked up to see Scott, Isaac and Lydia stood there.
"What will you do if I don't?" he smirked, pressing his hand further against my wound. I screamed out at the pain, grasping Stiles's hand and trying to pry it away again.
"Leave her alone, Stiles." Scott nodded. Stiles smirked and nodded, pressing his hand to my wound once before standing up.
"You won't come after me." He shook his head, slowly walking backwards.
"Why not?" Lydia asked.
"She's bleeding out. You follow me before helping her, she won't live." He smirked, continuing to walk backwards so he was near the lift.
"I'll find you, Stiles." Scott nodded.
"No, you won't!" he laughed as he walked into the lift and the doors shut. Scott rushed to me and held his hands to my wound.
"You're going to be okay." He nodded. I gulped as Melissa appeared and her eyes widened.
"Mom, I need help, she's bleeding out." Scott gulped.
"What happened?" she asked as she rushed to me.
"I got stabbed." I chuckled slightly.
"I'm going to need to sew this up." She sighed, grabbing a bag of medical supplies.
"This is going to hurt." She warned before putting the needle into my skin. I screamed out and squirmed.
"Hey." Scott spoke, taking my hand. I sighed as my pain left me, flowing through Scott's veins as he took it from me. I looked at him.
"Thank you." I whispered. He gave me a small smile as he continued to take my pain.
"And you're all patched up. Just be careful and make sure that it doesn't open again." She warned. I nodded and took Scott's hand as he helped me stand up.
