In Chapter 37~ 

"Ha-have we... done this before?" Y/n suddenly asked startling Ash.

"What?"

"I feel like this is... familiar... like I've hugged you before... a long time ago," Y/n asked confused before her face contorted with pain.

She grabbed her head as she let out a yelp. She felt faint, her eyes slightly widening as she remembered something.

'Oh, yea... Angels have soulmates too...,'

She then collapsed, worried purple eyes staring back at her....

"Sebastian," Ciel called out. Sebastian glanced at his young master knowing what the next words would come out.

"About Y/n-,"

"She's just overreacting," Sebastian stated calmly. 

"How can you be so sure?" Ciel asked puzzled. "What... what if she leaves you?" 

"She won't," Sebastian said. "I am her mate, her soulmate. She has no one else to love except me,"

"Again, how can you be so sure... she's not entirely... demon," Ciel whispered. 

"Stop talking nonsense young master," Sebastian whispered back. 

'Did I really make the right choice?' Sebastian thought as he felt a twinge of regret... and fear. 'What if she really leaves me... what if...,' Sebastian took a deep breath knowing she wouldn't, sure she can fall in love but she has a soulmate... someone who is destined to be with her... which was him.

"Argg...," Y/n let out a groan as she sat up and looked around, her eyes adjusting to the dim light next to her. 

"Are you feeling okay?" Ash asked. His face slightly overshadowed by the light, his body turned towards her giving her his full attention.

"Ahh...," Y/n let out another groan as she put her hand to her head pressing on it. "W-what happened?" 

"You fainted," Ash explained. 

"Well, no kidding... I mean... why were you... why were you... in my dreams? Why were you in my memories?" Y/n asked her eyes squinting in confusion.

Ash stayed silent not knowing how to explain this. 

"Why... why were we happy? Why was I with you?" 

"W...w...," Ash couldn't finish his sentence has he kept trailing off. 

"What?" Y/n asked. 

"You know what you are... right?" Ash asked as he looked into her eyes. 

"...Yea," Y/n replied hesitantly. 

"You... do you know that Angel's have soulmates too...," Ash started before taking in a deep breath, "Well you're my soulmate,"

Y/n was processing this new piece of information. 

"...EHHHH!!!!" 

"So... Angel's can have soulmates too... and you're my soulmate...," Y/n started slowly. "We've known each other since childhood... and we were in... in love...,"

Ash nodded his head as he looked at the girl in front of him. The girl who still looks as beautiful, funny, and clever as ever. She still has that same pout to which makes her cheeks puff out making her more adorable. Ash let out a small smile as he wrapped his arms around her waist and slowly but affectionately brought her closer. 

Y/n looked up towards the man from his chest as he smiled down at her before nuzzling his head in her neck. 

"I'm so glad... that you remember me...," Ash mumbled softly. 

Somehow the smooth voice soothed Y/n... this was a different experience to when she was with Sebastian. He had more of a... sinful... seductive voice. 

"Wait...," Y/n said as she lightly pushed Ash away from her. "W-why did I lose my memories?" 

"Because you were different," Ash explained his voice serious. 

"W-what?" Y/n asked her eyebrows furrowing together. 

"Because your not fully angel," Ash repeated. 

"S-so... because I wasn't fully one creature I was abandoned...?" Y/n timidly asked her head cast down. Ash gently put his hand on her head stroking it. 

"I...I'm sorry," Ash apologised. 

"Why are you apologising?" Y/n asked as she let out a forced giggle. "I... I need to investigate a case... so...," 

Y/n stood up abruptly as she ran out. Ash could only watch her leave hurridly and he felt a twinge in his heart.

As Y/n was walking she snuck into a room where there were people sitting down as they watched a man 'purify' a man and woman. Her eyes looked over eventually landing on Ciel, Sebastian, and Grell who was clinging onto his arm. Y/n let out a sigh as she walked towards them before sitting next to the blue-haired boy who let out a weird sound, surprised to see her.

"What's going on?" Y/n whispered to Ciel, surprising Sebastian and Grell.

"He's purifying them...," Ciel started before explaining the rest. 

"I see...," Y/n said as she looked towards the front. Y/n felt the gaze of Sebastian in which she didn't return. "Oh, yea... Something stinks here,"

"Huh?" Ciel asked. 

"Someone is behind all this...," Y/n explained as she let out a huff. 

"Who?" Ciel asked. 

"Who knows," Y/n smirked as she shrugged. 

"But you have someone in mind don't you?" Ciel whispered-hissed. 

"...Yes,"

"Who?" Ciel asked causing Y/n to smirk before replying tauntingly. 

"Not telling~," 

Ciel narrowed his eyes and started to grumble, however, not further pressing the subject. His concern was more for Sebastian who kept glancing towards Y/n like a lost kitty cat and Y/n not even sparing him a glance. 

"What are you going to do now?" Ciel whispered as he leaned closer to the woman. 

"What do you mean?" 

"Are you going to leave?" Ciel asked. 

"... yea," Y/n smiled softly before ruffling his dark blue hair. 

"Huh?" Ciel said a bit too loudly that a few people looked at him. 

Y/n giggled... before she glanced at Sebastian.

"I guess I can't stand looking... and being with him for now," Y/n smiled before she got up from her seat and walked outside. 

'After this mission...,' Y/n thought, 'After this mission... so I can keep seeing him... just one last time... then I'll leave,' 

Suddenly Y/n was pulled back, her eyes glanced back as she saw jet black hair and ruby eyes. She quickly pulled her hand back before hissing. 

"Don't touch me with your hands!!" 

"Y/n...," Sebastian started before he approached her. "W-We're okay right?" 

"What?" 

"We're okay... right?" Sebastian repeated. 

"I thought I told you... that I trusted you... that I believed you wouldn't do such a thing... that... THAT WE WOULD BE OVER IF YOU DID!!" Y/n started to yell as unwanted tears building up in her eyes. 

"...Y/n-," 

"That would be L/n now... Michaelis...," Y/n said bitterly. "We're over... aren't we? We aren't that close anymore...,"

Sebastian said nothing his words stuck in his throat... never had he felt... regret... and guilt... and it sure felt terrible. It felt like... bugs crawling inside his stomach slowly but painfully eating it. Sebastian grimaced before once again trying to reach out towards her. 

"I-I regret i-," 

"Now you regret it?" Y/n snarled. "Why?! Did you not take my words seriously?!!"

"No! I thought I was doing the right thi-," 

"Well, obviously you thought wrong this is the consequence your facing!... This is reality!" 

Sebastian looked desperate... He didn't know his actions would really cause this much trouble. 

(Yea...of course ya didn't...)

Y/n looked into Sebastian, her heart clenched. He cheated on her... but why does she still long for him... Why does she want to forgive him even though it hurts...

"After this mission, I'm leaving," Y/n announced as she eye-locked Sebastian. 

"W...Don't talk nonsense... We...We're soulmates... we-we're destined for each other," 

"No... You're not the only one destined for me...," Y/n softly whispered. 

"Pardon?" 

"Sayonara...," Y/n smiled once more before she walked away to ... 'investigate'
