Extra Chapter~

The carriage was pulling the Phantomhive members as they sang, "Resort!~ Resort!~ We're so happy~,"

"Isn't this amazing Mey-Rin, Y/n-san!" Finny exclaimed.

"Yes! Yes! I can't believe he's taking us with him to the Queen's health resort!" Mey-Rin exclaimed happily.

"I guess even the Young Master has his good points!" Baldroy said.

"Yeah!" Both Finny and Mey-Rin nodded their heads cutely, causing Y/n to giggle slightly next to Sebastian.

"They are fortunate people," Sebastian said to Ciel. "It appears they're grateful to you, my kind Young Master," 

"I don't want to leave them behind by themselves and come back to find the mansion destroyed," Ciel said looking away.

"Indeed," Sebastian agreed.

The horse let out a neigh as it stopped.

"This would seem to be the entrance of the village," Sebastian said.

"Oh!~," All three servants looked excitedly outside. However, to their disappointment, they saw a big tree covered in spikey dog collars.

All three servants let out a wail of dread.

"I forgot to mention one thing," Ciel said. "This is the planned construction site for the resort,"

"Young Master...," They cried.

FLASHBACK~

"A trip? In this season?" Y/n asked.

"Y/n, Sebastian, are you familiar with the leisure activity known as bear-baiting?" Ciel asked putting his cup down.

"The words seem interesting and quite attractive to me, but I'm afraid not," Sebastian answered while Y/n just shrugged.

"They tied a bear to a fence with a rope or cord and fighting dogs surround it, bit at it, and killed it," Ciel explained.

"My, that sounds very human-like," Sebastian said, smiling.

"It was banned by the Cruelty to Animals Act of 1835, but there was a loophole: the law didn't apply to the attack dogs, What do you think happened then?" Ciel said.

"I imagine they began having dogs attack their own kind," Sebastian said as he put his fingers on his chin. "Perhaps they would call it "dog-baiting?" 

"There's a village doing that right now: Houndsworth," Ciel said. "That place was originally famous for rearing hunting dogs, but behind closed doors they...She is heartsick, we'll secure that village under the pretext of making it a health resort...That is the goal of this journey,"

 "A village full of dogs, eh?" Y/n said half-heartedly.

The carriage moved forward when Finny shouted, "Stop the carriage! There's the first villager," Finny jumped out of the carriage to the old lady with a pram.

"I'll help you, Granny," Finny exclaimed happily.

"N-No, Finny! If you're not careful the baby will-," Mey-Rin shouted but was cut off by Finny lifting the pram above his head innocently.

"What?" He asked happily. Before realizing what he was doing and rushed to put the pram down to the ground.

"I-I'm so sorry!" Finny shouted.

"Is the baby alright?" Mey-Rin asked. However, her face looked shocked.

Inside the pram was a skull...

"This child was eaten by it...," Granny said with her raspy voice before pulling the pram forward once more leaving the servants shocked and horrified.

Sebastian's POV

I looked to the side to take a glance at Y/n who was looking in the opposite direction. My eyes twitched as I remembered what I had done...

FLASHBACK~

"Sebastian! Let me hel-," Y/n's words were cut off as I looked at her quite harshly.

"I'll ask Mey-Rin for help if I need any," I answered coldly.

Her face drooped and she walked away.

That wasn't the only time...

I've also flirted with Mey-Rin purposely to make her jealous...

PRESENT~

'Am I keeping a grudge for too long?' I thought as I kept staring at her. I focused my attention back on the road again.

"Y/n," Ciel's voice made me surprised.

"Yes?" Y/n answered before looking at the Young Master.

"Do you like dogs?"

"No," Y/n immediately answered. "To be frank, I hate them," Y/n then closed her eyes to smile sarcastically proving her point

Author's notes: I do not hold grudges against dogs!!! I love both cats and dogs equally!! Please don't be mad!!

I let out a smile before nodding my head in agreement. I then flinched slightly as I felt something or someone tugging at my sleeve, I turned around to face Y/n.

"Ne~ (Ne is hey in Japanese) Do...you still hate me?" Y/n asked her lips moving together to form a pout.

'Don't do that you'll give me a heart attack...' I thought before taking a deep breath to control myself before answering.

"No,"

"Then why have you been ignoring me?" Y/n asked before scooting closer to me.

"That is not of your concer-,"

"It is my concern~," Y/n whispered into my ear causing me to shudder. Flustered, I turned to face her when her face was right in front of mine. Her e/c eyes staring into my red ones as her cheeks were tinted slightly pink, her lips together forming a pout.

She looked hot...

'Why am I thinking of something dirty in this situation?' I thought as I felt my breath hitch. I turned to the side quickly when I hear Ciel's voice.

"If you're going to kiss do it away from me," Ciel ordered at the two.

"Of course," Y/n replied before moving back to her seat and leaving me flustered but slightly disappointed.

NO ONE'S POV

The carriage pulled the group of people to a mansion in Houndsworth. The seven people were greeted by a young pretty looking woman with light silver-blue hair. 

"The Earl Phantomhive, I presume?" She asked.

"Yes," Sebastian answered looking down on her.

"Welcome to Barrymore Castle. My master awaits your arrival," She said bowing.

Y/n narrowed her eyes at the familiar scent of one of her own kind...

'Angel,' Y/n thought as she looked at the woman.

"She's beautiful," Mey-Rin exclaimed while the other boys blushed.

Y/n, Sebastian and Ciel followed the woman with purple eyes to a dark room, as they were looking around they were interrupted by a scream. They looked to the side to find a man whipping the woman up.

"Who the hell is this Chihuahua?!" The man shouted. "I told you to receive the Queen's messenger," 

"Chihuahua?" Sebastian asked slightly distressed.

"Can't you do something as simple as that Angela?" The man shouted once more.

Before the whip hit the woman again it was stopped by Y/n. 

"What the hell are you do-," The man turned to look at the beautiful woman next to him, as she held the whip. The man let out a slight perverted blush as he scanned her figure up and down, causing Sebastian to let out a growl. 

"It is quite unamusing to find you whipping such a beautiful and fragile lady," Y/n said. "This young man is the Earl Phantamhive, or as you would know, the Queen's messenger,"

"This little toy poodle is Her Majesty's messenger?" The man asked.

"You disapprove of small breeds, Lord Henry?" Ciel asked smirking.

Henry and Ciel were sitting across each other, as Angela was trying to make tea. Her hands bruised and shaking as she tried to lift the cups up. Her face expressed discomfort and pain, Y/n walked closer and whispered to her.

"I'll take care of this,"

As Y/n was pouring the tea Henry tossed the papers back to the table.

"It isn't worth discussing," 

"Let me hear the reason," Ciel asked.

"The curse," Henry said seriously.

"Curse?" Ciel asked slightly confused.

"This village has lived alongside its dog since ancient times. Those who interfere with it are cursed by a fearsome scourge...," Henry stood up and looked down on Ciel. "Even her Majesty cannot change that, great calamity befalls anyone who goes against the Barrymore family!"

"Ah, interesting," Ciel sighed his lips curving upwards.

"What?!"

"Let's have a nice, close look at this "calamity," Ciel asked as he put his hands together.

Henry gritted his teeth in frustration.

Mey-Rin was walking down the hallway when she heard whispering so she decided to do what most people would do...eavesdrop... 

"Angela...Angela...the Queen wants my village," Henry said as he touched Angela's legs. "You understand right? I'll protect this village,"

Mey-Rin stumbled back...

"The maid saw something she shouldn't have seen," Mey-Rin whispered.

"I apologize for the lateness of the hour," Angela said as she stepped inside the room.

"My Young Master is about to retire," Sebastian said.

"I have a request, please, leave this village...you mustn't be here," Angela pleaded.

"Why not?" Ciel asked.

"I can't..."

Just then there were a bunch of sounds of dogs howling...

"Oh, no! The demon hound is here," Angela exclaimed trembling in fear.

(Look at this acting :/ )

"AHHH!" 

Ciel looked backwards to find a dog shadow on his curtains.

"Sebastian," Ciel shouted.

Sebastian quickly ran to the curtains and opened them to reveal nothing.

Y/n looked outside and pointed out to strange green glowing footmarks.

"Young Master look at that," Y/n said.

They rushed outside and Ciel examined the green glowing material on the ground.

"Young Master!" Mery-Rin screeched as the servents rushed towards them.

"What is the fuss all about?" Baldroy asked, clutching onto his pillow.

"It's the demon hound...who punishes those who disobey my master...it brings calamity to the village," Angela explained.

"Angela, please tell Lord Barrymore that he demon hound came," the villagers said as they walked up to the mansion.

"Who has been punished?" Angela asked worried.

"That's awful," Baldroy said as they looked at the man bitten to death.

Ciel lifted up the hand and narrowed his eyes.

"Don't touch that!" Henry exclaimed as he walked closer. "So James was the bad dog?"

"Yes, he broke the five-dog rule and kept six," One villager said.

"I see, then this is inevitable,"

"How can you say that?" Baldroy asked.

"This village has laws I have decreed, those who break them are punished by the demon hound who protects the Barrymore," Henry said clenching his fists.

The villagers started to mumble a song. 

"Lullaby, Lullaby

The white dog is a good dog

The disobedient black dog is a bad dog

Lullaby, the sunsets..." 

The villagers then lifted James off the ground and pulled him away.

The Phantomhive people looked at the back of the villagers as they walked away.

"Young Master," both Sebastian and Y/n said.

Ciel looked at the two butlers and narrowed his eyes before sighing and walking back to the mansion...
