He forgot about everything - including his fiancée - the moment he had followed Y/N to her apartment, and he slowly started to regret this.

You could never now on what way Sera would react now - especially after he had run after the girl he cheated on her with instead of staying with Sera.

Would she be angry? Or sad? Or disappointed? Probably all of that.

But he promised Y/N to explain everything to Sera, so he would do so. She deserved the truth and he felt as if it was time for him to slowly mature and take responsibility for his actions.

The twenty years old unlocked the door of his house and entered the strangely calm place. He didn't know if she was actually there, he had just assumed to find her at home, and didn't got disappointed when he found her standing in the door to the living room with crossed arms and an almost scary frown on her pretty face.

The one year older woman he now knew for about two years, but never really felt connected to if he was being honest, looked at him with a suspicious expression, careful almost.

"What did you mean by 'soulmate'?"

Jungkook scoffed. She tried to act tough and intimidating, but the breaking of her voice and her trembling fingers that she tried to hide desperately were making her actual feelings way too obvious.

He leaned against the doorframe and looked his fiancée in the eyes, "I...think I'll have a lot to explain."

The reason why I came to Seoul, why I left home and my childhood with Y/N.

I watched her reaction as I had finished but got nothing but a little sigh. Her expression had remained neutral as I had explained without looking her in the eyes.

It would've been easier for me if she had started to cry or to yell at me. This way I only began to grow more and more insecure.

I sucked in a deep breath before talking again, "I am really sorry that I put you through all that, and I just want you to know that it has nothing to do with you. You see, you're perfect, but I..."

I sighed.

Fucking hell, I hope she understands me.

Sera nodded, what was her first reaction since I began talking, and she turned her head towards me, "So you and Y/N are soulmates. I hope you can make her happy, she deserves it."

Her voice sounded bitter, not really as if she meant it and I noticed how she clenched her fists at her own words.

"Don't be mad but... I don't really want to live in the same house as you any longer so..."

"It's okay!" I said quickly, "I can stay with Hyung."

She lifted an eyebrow, "Is he gonna be fine with it?"

I shrugged, "He will have to."

It then was really quiet and just awkward and I just wanted to leave this place as fast as possible.

"Jungkook?"

"Yes?"

"I... don't really want to see you again. So if you want to take your stuff with you later, then do it when I'm not at home."

I smiled a bit. That was Sera. Hiding her insecurities behind her determined facade and strict orders.

"Alright then, I'll just get some clothes, then I won't bother you anymore." I said as I made my way out of the room. I stopped as I stood in the doorframe to say one last thing, "Sera? I hope you find some one who stays with you till the end."

She scoffed, "Yeah. me too."

The door opened all of a sudden, revealing a sleepy boy with disheveled black hair.

"What do you want?"

"Were you already sleeping?"

He groaned, "Yes. I was until you came. That's what it takes when you work until three in the morning."

I gave the twenty-four years old a sheepish smile, as I collected all my dongsaeng-charm before asking the next question, "Can I sleep at your place tonight?"

"What? Why?"

"Sera kinda kicked me out..."

"Nah, she wouldn't do that."

"Well, she had all right to do so..."

The guy gave me a grumpy look, "Alright then, but you have a lot of explaining to do kid."

I made a little yes gesture with my fist, "Thanks Yoongi you're the best."

He snorted, "I know."

The door closed behind me and I entered the clean apartment of my friend and a question popped up in my head all of a sudden.

A question that made me feel equally excited and anxious.
