[Currently missing someone who probably doesn't miss me]
~¤~
You didn't know what hurt more. The fact that you still missed him, or that you had to pretent you didn't.
Sera didn't work at your café anymore, so your last chances of seeing him were gone.
You felt like a slut for wishing to be with a guy who was engaged with such a nice person.
You also felt bad for thinking how mean it was from Jungkook to chose a girl you just weren't able to hate.
But all of that didn't really matter, because you wouldn't see them again.
Well, or so you thought.
Because you were totally caught off guard when Jeon Jungkook entered the café, sitting down at a table near the window.
You stumbled a little dumbfounded towards him, "W-What would you like to order?"
He scoffed as he looked up at you.
"Waitress? You had such good grades, was that everything that you were able of?"
His tone was mocking and you felt really hurt, making you look down in shame.
"I broke up school."
He snorted, "Why would you do that?"
You bit your lip, feeling the anger rising in your stomach. There had been a single reason for you to leave everything that was familiar to you and that was him. After you had waited a fucking year for him to come back, you gave up and left your home such as your school as fast as possible. It was all because of him, mainly because it was easy to blame him for all misery in your life.
"Your order?" You reminded him in a stern voice, not answering his question.
He snickered, "Since when are you so boring?"
And that was the moment you realized that he infact remembered what happened at the party. You didn't really know what it was, that made you realize it but as the realization crashed down on you, you backed a few steps off, your face merely showing the anger you felt right now.
"We need to talk Jeon Jungkook." You said certain and then turned around to leave the café, praying tha he was following you, so that you wouldn't make a fool of you.
Luckily he stood up and followed you out of the building. His expression had turned from mocking to annoyed and he showed that he clearly didn't want to be with you.
When you stood at a point where your boss couldn't see you from the café you turned around just to snap at Jungkook.
"You can't just abandon me for three fucking years and then force yourself onto me at a party your fiancé did for you! This is so selfish, towards both me and Sera! She didn't deserve that, you know!"
"Do you think I fucking care about Sera?"
You flinched at his tone. You had never considered him as scary but right now he was scaring the fuck out of you.
His usually warm eyes turned ice cold and his honey like voice suddenly sounded rough and threatening. He hovered above you, making you once more realize how much more of a man he became in the last three years.
"W-What do you mean? Jungkook, you're going to marry her!"
You looked up at him with big eyes, equally scared and curious and - yes, you were ashamed for that - relieved. Because it now looked like he, atleast, hadn't replaced you.
The guy didn't answer your question and just stared into your eyes, making you feel really uncomfortable. This wasn't your soulmate, you once knew.
"You know what, nevermind."
He backed off, finally giving you the space to breath.
Jungkook
I felt how my breath slowly relaxed and my heart didn't seem to explode in my chest anymore.
Why, why did she have to have such an impact on my? It shouldn't be like this.
I shook my head frequently, rubbing my forehead to get rid of the ideas that had popped up in my head while she was cornered against the wall underneath me.
Yeah, at the end she still is my s-s... soulmate.
That was probably the reason why I went to the café.
Sad but true, after I lived in askese for three years and had just a single taste of her,I didn't seem to be able to leave her alone.
It didn't help that this Australian little fuck Felix had to be around her all the time. It was something like my natural instinct to keep him away from her.
But, for fucks sake, I didn't want to feel like this towards her. But sadly there wasn't a way to break the bond that lasted between our souls.
I slammed the door shut, probably using a bit too much force as Sera came into the room with a surprised expression.
"Is everything okay babe?"
Babe.
I hated to admit it, but every time the word came out of her mouth I imagined Y/N saying it.
And then I would answer with 'yes, princess, I'm fine now that you are here'
I cringed at my own cheesy thoughts and wanted to just slam my head against a wall.
Y/N was probably right. This wasn't really fair towards Sera, who probably really loved me.
But to be honest I couldn't care less about her.
So, I smiled, "Yes, I'm fine."
