Your mind couldn't stop to wander back to the last evening and your encounter with your old friend (?) Mimi. That's why it was no surprise to you that you weren't able to rest, being wide awake by five in the morning already.

It pulled you back to Han river, where you had walked along only a few hours ago.

Slight fog covered the calm water and a cool breeze sent shivers through your body, since you only wore a thin jacket. The sun hadn't fully risen yet, but it looked like it would be covered by clouds throughout the whole day anyways.

You walked for about half an hour, along the dark river, before being tired of the constant wandering and set down onto one of the benches, that were placed along the railing.

It was like the whole world was still, one of the reasons why you loved to get up early.

This stillness was only broken when a blonde haired guy, not much older than you, sat down on the space besides you, leaning back against the hard and uncomfortable wood, just like you did.

You glanced at him for a moment, noticing the puffy cheeks which were stained in tears before averting your gaze back to the silent river in front of you.

"Boys suck."

It was the blonde guy who had broken the silence by mumbling those words, making you look at him once more.

"Soulmates.", was your answer, "Those are the worst."

The blonde one sighed heavily and closed his eyes at your words, "Yes."

You felt strangely connected to this stranger, as you realized you weren't the only one with who  went through this.

The stranger opened his eyes and turned his head towards you, still resting against the bench, "But what can we do, right?"

You smiled bitterly, as you gave him the advice you could've needed years ago, "Don't get too attached."

The blonde laughed ironically, "Right."

You re-read the chat between you and Felix, before throwing on your jacket and leaving the café. You two had set up to meet hat his place, and if you were being honest you were super excited to  finally meet the boy whom Felix had told you so much about.

Excited enough that you forgot about your little problem namely Jeon Jungkook.

It had warmed up the past days, but today was freezing and you wrapped your arms tightly around your body, craving to reach Felix' warm apartment.

You were relieved when you finally knocked at mentioned apartment's door, a brightly grinning Felix opening it.

"Ayy Y/N!"

His disheveled hair and rosy cheeks told you that Changbin was there already and you were proven right when a raven haired man appeared behind Felix. Your friend had shown you a few pictures and you had to admit - Changbin was even more handsome in person.

The twenty one year old wrapped his arms around Felix' waist and laid his chin onto his shoulder from behind, smiling at you friendly, "Hi, I'm Changbin."

You eyed him suspiciously before grinning, "I know."

He laughed, "What's with that face?"

You shrugged grinning, trying to cover up your weird glance from earlier, "Nothing, let's go inside."

You didn't want to admit that you feared that your innocent, fairy-like friend would have to make the same bad experiences as you - and others how you found out today - had to make through finding their soulmate. 

But you know what? Changbin was perfect. You couldn't find something you disliked on him. Not when you first saw him and neither when you three were eating Spaghetti while watching Netflix, laughing and joking around.

When you were ready Felix stood up to put the dirty dishes away and you took this opportunity to interrogate Changbin properly.

You skittered forwards on your butt, squinting your eyes in an attempt to look scary, while Changbin eyed you confused. 

"So, you want to court Felix?"

Changbin blinked at your use of the word 'court' but nodded a bit helpless, "I-I mean he's my soulmate so-"

"But do you only want to be with him because he is your soulmate?"

The addressed laughed as if the mere thought was ridiculous, "Of course not! Felix is beautiful and charming and I'm - if I'm being honest - completely whipped for this boy."

This answer wasn't nearly enough for you and you slid even closer t Changbin, so that you were facing him entirely, "But will you stay with Felix, no matter what this will bring with it or what unpleasant things in his life occur?"

Changbin's eyes met yours and you saw realization in them, him becoming very serious all of a sudden, "You're talking about his sister, right? I met Lizzy and she's awesome. Don't call her an 'unpleasant thing in Felix' life'."

You sighed dramatically, laying one hand on the raven hair's shoulder, "I hereby confirm that you have passed the test."

That caused Changbin to look even more confused, but you didn't really care what he thought about you in this moment. You were satisfied with Changbin's answer, now being certain that he indeed was a good guy and that was all you wanted for Felix.

Latter appeared from the kitchen and slung his arms around both of your shoulders, "I'm glad that my two favorite people are getting along that well!"

"Felix, your friend is crazy.", Changbin whined making Felix laugh as if he exactly knew what happened while he wasn't there.

"I know babe, that's why we're friends after all."
