"Good night you two. Don't do silly things and - have a great birthday Jungkook." The woman said, while waving her daughter and the boy who just turned sixteen.

"It's nice from your mom that she lets you sleep here." Jungkook said with a wide bunny smile spread over his face.

The girl that had her arm wrapped around his giggled, "Yeah, she usually doesn't like it cause of - you know, our age gape."

His eyes grew large at that, "Why?"

She shrugged, "She thinks older boys like you can be bad influences."

He laughed, "Other boys. Maybe. But not me."

She laughed too, "You're probably right."

The strawberry haired boy became serious again, "Princess? Let's go inside 'kay?"

She nodded, hopping inside the house happily.

He closed the door behind him and it was quiet for a moment. They were the only ones in the house, his parents having left together with hers.

"Princess..." He said while strolling towards her, "I know, I said I don't want any presents from you. But I was hoping you could give me a special one."

She nodded enthusiastically, "What is it?"

He stopped right infront of her, their noses would've touched if he wasn't taller.

"Well..."

He leaned down, her eyes growing bigger as she realised.

His lips touched hers and a soft, wet sound chimed through the empty rooms.

The kiss barely lasted more than two minutes, but it meant the world for both of them.

When he detached his lips from her he couldn't help but to smile, Y/N burrying her face in his shirt, not wanting him to see how hard she was blushing.

Yes, those were carefree days.

Present

"What the fuck just happened?"

Felix deep voice spoke the words that were in your mind.

You looked up at him, who still stood at the same place he had ended up after he got shoved away by a drunk Jungkook. You didn't exactly knew what to answer, since you were hella confused yourself, so you chose to keep quiet.

Felix looked at you worried slowly coming closer, "I'm sorry that I didn't do anything. I was just really, really caught off guard at the moment."

You saw how genuinely sorry he was and thought how this totally wasn't his fault and felt sorry for dragging the poor guy into that.

"I-It's okay. Just... forget what happened." You said a bit absent, making Felix shake his head frequently.

"No, Y/N." He suddenly took your hand, dragging you through the crowd of people and out of the house.

You let yourself being dragged, not really caring where he lead you to.

You ended up sitting on the cold stone stairs, infront of the house, taking a short break to inhale the cool night air.

"So, what exactly happened between you and this Jungkook guy?"

You stared at him for a while, wondering why this boy, whom you barely knew, even cared about your problem. But at the same time you wanted to get it off your chest, telling a third partie about what happened.

"So... Jungkook and I know eachother since I was four." You started hesistantly, watching Felix' reaction. He nodded, encouraging you to keep talking.

"And we found out pretty early that he was my soulmate." You saw Felix frown.

"But why is he with Se-"

"I'll tell you so shush." You interrupted him, "So, Jungkook and I were inseparable. We did everything together - when we were kids we even took baths together. But when I turned fifteen he disappeared. The only thing I heard from him was a single message." You left out the content of the message intentionally.

Felix had listened carefully while you talked, "And now you met him again because of Sera, whos your co-worker?"

"Right", you said, "This was kind of... unexpected."

"But... why did he do that?" Felix stated, referring to what happened only a few minutes ago.

You sighed, burrying your face in your hands, "He was drunk. I don't fucking know."

Felix hummed, waiting a moment until he got up abruptly, "I think it will be the best if I bring you home."

You slowly stood up too, looking at the blonde guy, "I'm sorry Felix."

He laughed, "What are you saying? There's nothing for you to be sorry about."

You nodded smiling, happy that he understood you.

The ride was rather silent, not in an awkward way though. Both of you were busy with your own thoughts not really having something to talk about.

When you got out he hugged you quickly, "Bye then. And call me tomorrow if you're bored in the café."

He was right, Sera wouldn't work there anymore and you would work alone again.

"I will. Thank you."

You watched him as he drove away. You touched your lips as you remembered the kiss - Felix' kiss and how it had felt.

Sadly, you knew the feeling and it wasn't what is was supposed to be.

You sighed, rubbing your temples as you made your way back into your cozy apartement.
