3rd person

Yoongi watched the younger as he sat on the bench, knees lifted to his chest, while the orange light of the slowly setting sun colored his cheeks and made his eyes sparkle.

If only he knew that Jimin had sat on the exact same bench a few days ago, crying because of Yoongi denying him.

It felt weird. Looking at Jimin, made him feel weird. Throughout the whole time they had spent together today.

He had never felt attracted to men before, but jimin with his curly blonde hair, fluffy sweater and sparkling eyes made him feel so dizzy.

He wanted to lift his hand to brush a finger over the boys cheek, but couldn't find the courage to do such a simple thing. What was he even scared of?

Jimin caught Yoongi staring when he turned his head towards the raven haired, but latter couldn't tear his eyes away as soon as they locked with Jimin's. The younger smiled.

It was a weak smile, the kind of smile that wanted to remain positive but crumbled in the attempt of doing so.

"It shouldn't be like this.", he shook his head to underline his words, "A soulmate is not a burden Yoongi."

Yoongi blinked dazzled. It was as if Jimin understood perfectly what was going on inside of him, as if he knew about his inner little fight without Yoongi having to talk about it.

And maybe that's what a soulmate is like. A person who understands you, without any words.

 And if this was the case, then Yoongi was a terrible soulmate. He was bad in reading and understanding other people, as much as he tried to be the opposite.

"I don't see you as a burden."

Again this smile.

"Of course not. But it's not easy, since we met right? I am a burden to you if you want it or not and so are you to me."

Yoongi didn't answer.

He didn't answer, but something in him pulled him towards Jimin and made him wrap his arms around the delicate younger's body.

"You are not a burden Jimin."

The boy practically melted into Yoongi's arms and he felt Jimin's heart beating like crazy. 

Jimin didn't need anything else. Just the reassurance, that Yoongi was there, that he accepted him a his soulmate, as his other half.

As Yoongi realized this, he thought that maybe he could be a good soulmate. Because he wanted to give Jimin this security he was searching for.

And that was how Yoongi ended up kissing Jimin, his lips finding the younger's soft ones shyly. Jimin on the other hand gave in the kiss thankfully and totally not shy, sighing as the older's tongue brushed against his full lower lip.

This was what he had wanted since they met in the grocery store. Yoongi holding him, while they kissed in front of Han river, the sun coloring everything in it's gentle orange light.

2nd person

It was a crazy coincidence that both pairs walked up to Yoongi's apartment at the same time, Jungkook and you being back from their little journey to Eunha, and Yoongi and Jimin after a fun first date and eventually kissing-at-dawn.

You - who had her hands buried in her pockets - let your gaze fall down to the intertwined hands of the other pair and then up to the familiar blonde's face.

"Soulmate's don't suck that much anymore huh?"

The blonde giggled, "No."

Yoongi looked between both of you with a curious expression, "You know Jimin?"

You looked at him with an amused spark in your eyes, "Not really, no. We met once."

Jungkook looked at you skeptically and then with a friendly expression at Jimin, before bowing slightly, "Yoongi is a lucky man to have such a beautiful soulmate."

You scowled and hit his shoulder playfully, "Excuse me?"

"Oww", Jungkook whined, though you highly doubted that you actually hurt him.

Jimin watched the scene softly giggling, while Yoongi's gaze too softened, "Should we order something to eat all together?"

You nodded, glad that Yoongi and Jimin were there, because you didn't know how this would've developed if Jungkook and you would've been alone.

"Okay then, I'll pay.", Jungkook exclaimed making you nudge his side.

"Of course you will, as if Yoongi pays for your food while you're living at his place like a scrounger."

Yoongi laughed at your words, while Jimin threw him a surprised glance, "Why is he living with you?"

Yoongi grinned softly, "That's a long story babe."

Jimin's cheeks reddened when the nick name left his mouth and he looked up a Yoongi with a wide smile.

You suddenly felt like an intruder in this sickeningly sweet scene. Until Jungkook made quiet gagging noises behind you, making you nudge his side again but harder, because of his childishness.

A small groan left his lips, leaving you satisfied that you managed to make it hurt this time and he quickly changed the topic, "So, should we go inside then?"

Jimin nodded, excited to see his soulmates apartment, "Yes! Let's go."
