Maka's POV

We arrive at the death room and see my so called Dad, Spirit whining about something incredibly stupid and giving Lord Death a hard time so i give him a taste of the Maka Chop "MAKA..CHOP!" I bash the book into Spirit's thick skull so that he can shut up from his whining and that way Lord Death can inform me and Soul in why we were sent here. "Nice Chop Maka that oughta shut him up for good!" Lord Death complimented me nicely i smile happily "Sure Lord Death anytime this Idiotic person who calls me his daughter who i'll never except as father gives you a hard time you just let me know i'll bash their thick skulls with my Book!" I answered happily and noticed that Soul rolled his eyes to what i said so i elbowed him in the side hard. "Ow! What did i do to deserve that?!" Soul said angrily "You know what!" I said with a face saying "don't mess with me" Soul just growled at me Boy did i tick him off with that Elbow Jab but then again i think he was already kind of pissed at the way i woke him up this morning..."So Death, Why did you call us?" I asked curiously "Aw yes about that...You see i have a mission for the two of you" Answered Lord Death "Yes!!! What's the mission about?" Asked Soul excitedly. "There is a vicious Kishin running amuck here in Death City i need you two to track him and take him down but be careful he's smarter than other kishins that you two have fought so i wouldn't take him lightly if i were you two so be careful." Said Lord Death. And right after Soul heard Death say that we needed to hunt a kishin down he started to slightly drool and i know exactly why. He just can't wait to defeat the kishin and devour the kishin egg but that's Soul for ya! "Well we better get ready later to hunt that kishin down right Soul?" I say determined "Yeah! I just can't wait to kick that sorry Kishin's butt and take his soul! I'm hungry anyways!" Answered Soul in an excited attitude. I giggle at his reaction then we head back to school and since that conversation with Lord Death was longer than we expected it to be we ended up missing 2nd period but Blackstar told us not to worry about it he told Sid that we were called into the Death Room by Lord Death so Sid didn't count us tardy or absent which made me relieved i wanted to have perfect attendance this year and if Blackstar didn't inform Sid about me and Soul that would of messed up my perfect attendance and i wouldn't have it jf i was to be counted absent. Soul and I headed to 3rd period Mrs. Maria's class that was when we were informed from BlackStar that he had our backs from last period and that we weren't counted absent.

Maka's POV

When we arrived back at our house we were greeted by Blair a warm welcome except Soul got more than just a welcome back saying from Blair..

Blair's POV

When Maka and Soul arrived back home from the DWMA i greeted them with a welcoming greeting "Hey Maka and Souly! Welcome back!" I decided to call cute little Scythe boy "Souly" to see his reaction he seemed annoyed by it so i gave him a death hug :3 "Cute little Scythe Boy!! How was school?!" I ask happily.
"Mphf!!" He answered obviously i was suffocating him with my i guess what he calls "oversized breasts" but i don't care i do it purposely to torture him. >:D

Soul's POV

Right when i come home with Maka i knew this was gonna happen ugh...i kinda hate Blair she literally flirts with me pretty much and gives me a death hug that I can't pull away from because she has a death grip on me and she shoves her breasts in my face because she thinks it's funny then when Maka comes by she'll let go of me and of course....i have a nosebleed and Maka calls me a pervert but to be clearly honest i'm not really that big of a pervert the only pervert i see here is Blair because she flirts with EVERY boy so it's not like i'm special also it's only natural that i get nosebleeds any guy would with that kind of body she has but they would probably get them the first time they see her but not me it only happens when she purposely smothers me with her giant breasts and like i said any guy would get a nosebleed
even kid..who's a total Symmatry freak. "Hey guys i made dinner for ya'll!" Said Blair happily "Oh, Thanks but i'm gonna wait a little bit me and Maka got a mission that we gotta get ready for so if you save me some in the fridge sure i'd love to eat it when me and Maka get back from our mission K, Blair?" I answered. "Oh Ok! I'll save some for you, what about you Maka? Are you gonna eat dinner before you and Soul leave?" Asked Blair Curiously. "Um....Yeah i think i will i am kinda hungry!" Yelled Maka from her room. She must of been changing into her combat clothes well..her other outfit.

Maka's POV

I didn't even feel like helping Soul with Blair i just went straight to my room to get changed into my clothes that i wear when i go on missions with Soul i guess i'll take Blair's offer on dinner my stomach is kind of growling so eating some dinner before leaving wouldn't hurt besides it's already made so it's not like i have to cook it before eating it. I throw my mission clothes on and refix my hair just in case they got a little loose from a long day of school then refix my bow of course after that i head to the kitchen to eat dinner since it's 11:30 and we have to leave at midnight i chow down on some food Soul on the other hand is gonna have a little meal to eat after the kishin is defeated. We head out to our mission shortly after i'm done eating and go to the location where the kishin is said be spotted or more like where most of it's activity seems to happen. Soul and I sit on top of a rooftop and while i try searching for nearby evil souls Soul looks around with his own eyes since he can't sence souls like i can cause he's not a meister. It's pretty quiet until Soul breaks the silence "So this guy that we're looking for what's his name?" Soul asks curiously as always. "I think they said his name was Slasher and supposedly he's smarter than other Kishins we've hunted down so we gotta keep our guard up Ok Soul?" I answered truthfully and seriously. "You got it." He answered with his sharp toothy grin showing off just to seriously show that he's being his "Cool Guy Personality" But it doesn't bother me much considering the fact that i think he's cute when he does that..Ugh! There i go again calling my Weapon partner cute! I really need to talk to somebody who i can truly trust i know i can trust Soul with mostly everything but this i think i'll talk to Tsubaki about it when i get the chance. Just then i sensed the soul of the Kishin we're after. "Soul! Now!" I said immediately when i sensed the soul of the kishin Soul looked at me and nodded then turned his arm into a scythe blade "i'm so ready to kill that dumb kishin they may say that he's smart but there's no way that he's smarter than you!" Soul answered me with encouraging words then fully turned into a scythe, there was a bright light like normally when he turns into a scythe i grabbed him in his scythe form and ran with him in my hands to where i sensed the Kishin we were after and surprised him from above by landing from behind him since i jumped off a rooftop. "Slasher the Menacing you have taken thousands of lives and today is where all your killings come to an end in the name of the DWMA YOUR SOUL IS MINE!" I say. Slasher just snickers at me and mocks me "Do you Honestly think a weak and fragile girl and her pathetic Scythe Parter can beat me? Well believe what you want to believe in the end it will be the other way around it is your souls who will be mine and i will remember the time when weakings like you two had the courage to come and face me!!! He responded manically. "Bring it on! We're not some students you should take lightly!" I yell and just when i say that Slasher runs at me with inhuman speed i try to block the blow with soul but he's too fast and he slashes me in the side with his claw i fall to my knees in pain trying to endure it but the wound is deep so i start bleeding a lot and i can feel that at least 2 of my ribs have been fractured and i groan in pain as the wound bleeds more and while i'm on the ground trying to stop the bleeding by holding my wound carefully slasher takes this moment to lunge at me again and as he does i'm sent flying into a building already in a lot of pain feeling like i'm gonna die i stand on my shaking legs practically paralyzed by a big amount of amount of blood i've lost and even if i may look like i'm at a disadvantage i'm not scared i may be trembling but that's only because i've taken enough damage to die. Slasher runs at me to take the final blow i hear Soul yell at me from his Scythe form trying to tell me to get out of the way and a tear escapes from my eyes and rolls down my cheek and i say this before Slasher lands the ending blow on me "It's too late,Soul"
And after that i wait for the final blow to end my life but i here a metal/steel scratching noise and open my eyes only to see Soul in front of me with his blade arm blocking Slasher's metal claws. "Maka..Don't you ever say it's too late! Because it's Never too Late and it never will be!" He says angrily with his sharp teeth gritted and his Crimson eyes staring down into my soul and just from those words he said and the look in his eyes i can't control myself it's as if i've been mentally overtaken i can't control the tears from escaping from my eyes as they carlessly roll down my cheeks. "I'm Crying...without control...?" But why am i crying..? The thought is running through my head like a broken record playing over and over again. "Back off Slasher If you think that you can kill my meister and steal her soul you got another thing coming!" Soul said angrily and his eyes looking blood lust..the eyes of revenge, murder perhaps and rage. So thats why i'm crying a smile slips across my face it's because Soul cares this much about me to sacrifice his life for me..to put his life in danger just to live the reason why i'm crying is because i love him i've been so blind to never think about this before i gain my stength and grab his hands and he looks at me worriedly. "Come on Soul..We can kill this guy! What kind of Weapon and Meister are we if we can save the world from Madness from an even stronger Kishin than this guy but get our asses kicked by him!?!" I ask Feircefuly and he grins at me. "There's the Maka i know!" He answered as he turned back into his scythe form. "Ready to end this Soul?" I ask seriously. "Ready when you are" he answers. Slasher laughs maniacally again. "Oh i just love persistent pests!" He snarls. "Let's do this Soul" "Right" he answers. "LETS GO, SOUL RESONANCE!" I yell and i can feel Soul's soul and mine combine and power surging through me then Soul's Scythe blade becomes longer, bigger and stronger i then leap in the air and yell "WITCH HUNTER!" Slasher looks terrified at sight and tries to run for his life but he doesn't get a chance to get far enough from where i can reach before i land Soul on Slasher and the blade comes clashing with the Kishin's body killing him with one hit i then land on my feet and Soul turns to normal then snatches the Kishin's Soul and devours it. "Thankyou Maka for the delicious meal." He says thankfully. I smile in response then my vision becomes blurry and then i black out the last thing i hear is Soul yelling and Screaming my name.
