"mom, me and aeyoung will just go outside!" y/n shouted and grabbed her 7 year old little sister's hand, pulling her outside the house.
not until they were pulled by their dad, earning groans from the girls.
"it's too dangerous outside, girls. this is for your safety." the father warned the girls.
y/n immediately let go of little's sister's hand that ran towards their cooking mother, 12 year old y/n sitting beside her dad.
"dad, why can't we play outside? other kids does!" she complained, slightly stomping her feet.
"some of those kids are not human, y/n. we're surrounded by too many kinds of creature that's it's not safe. listen to my words." he scolded and y/n just pout her lips, heading upstairs.
'why try? they never let us anyways.'
y/n thought and laid on their shared bed, looking at the ceiling, thinking why she can't go outside and play. why can't she enjoy like other kids?
she thought her parents are so strict and scoffed.
she was just staring at the ceiling when she heard screaming outside.
she was about to check out to the window when her parents immediately went inside, closing the window while their mother held aeyoung.
"what's happening?" she asked and they ignored her but making y/n and aeyoung sleep after locking everything up.
the day has fallen and y/n still received no explanation about what's happening beside her parents saying they must lock their door.
y/n closed her eyes and slowly drifting to sleep when her sister started shaking her.
she sat up and asked what's the matter.
the 7 year old smiled up to her sister, "let's play outside, mom and dad's sleeping."
y/n checked the time and it was pass 12 o clock, confused that her little sister is still up.
"it's midnight, aeyoung. let's do that tomorrow, okay?" she smiled and went back to sleeping.
"they never let us! they never let us! c'mon! c'mon!-" she stopped her sister's crying.
"shhh, i told you, we can't." but the little sister started crying again, "okay okay."
y/n agreed as she's afraid her little sister's crying might wake their parents up and scold her instead.
they quietly opened their door, sneaking towards the front door but they thought it might creak so they went to the kitchen window, hopping up and slowly getting outside.
they felt like a free bird and almost screamed in excitement so they quickly ran to the nearest playground. as they expected, no one was playing as it was midnight.
they tried seesaw, slides and many more until they felt tired and sat on the swing.
y/n closed her eyes for a moment catching her breath.
"let's go back aeyoung." she looked at her sister at the another swing but she saw no one.
her eyes widened at the sudden disappearance of her sister, making her heart beat so fast, almost crying until she heard her sister's giggle.
she stopped and looked around, looking at her laughing sister.
she looked like she was talking to someone sitting on the edge of the slide, y/n thought that no kid would come here at this hour.
she slowly walked towards her sister and saw she was talking to another boy who had his head low but laughing.
"aeyoung!" y/n called her sister making the boy looked up too.
and that moment, their eyes met.
y/n stopped but the boy had his head low again but she swear.
she saw a glow of gold in his eyes.
"this is kookie!" aeyoung introduced.
y/n shrugged it off and lowered down to talk to the boy but he still have his head down, making y/n confused.
"hi kookie! i'm y/n, 12 years old. how old are you?" she asked.
the boy took a few seconds before answering, "i-i'm 7."
"you're the same age as my sister! why are you out here alone and it's midnight." she worriedly asked.
the boy was so shy that he stutter every answer.
"just. play." he simply answered.
"aeyoung, you can play with him." y/n smiled and aeyoung happily smiled.
"okay, unnie!"
"oh kookie, since i'm older, you can call me noona." y/n smiled and the boy just nodded, "but we have to go now, see you tomorrow!"
the girls turned their back and the boy lifted his face up, little smile slowly crawling on his lips as his eyes turned gold.
"noona?"

this scenario continued, the girls sneaking out to play with jungkook at midnight but sometimes y/n just get tired of playing as she was blooming as a teenager..
she was 15 at the time and she stopped playing with jungkook since a long time.
her 10 year old sister would force her sometimes but she's not a kid anymore.
plus, kookie won't play with her anyways. he's always shy around her and won't even make an eye contact, she found it weird.
one night, she woke up finding no one beside her.
she sighed as her sister sneaked out alone again, making her a worried sick.
she tried to get used to it but she just can't sleep knowing her little sister went out alone again.
she walked towards the park but saw no one, she looked around but she saw no kookie and aeyoung. she teared up, sick worried to her sister.
she walked around the street and saw a woman carrying a girl.
the slippers of the girl looked so familiar and recognized her sister, she was about to scream and ran when a hand covered her mouth, pushing her to the corner.
"n-noona, shh."
she recognized the voice and their eyes met, seeing the gold glimpse again but the boy looked away.
"kookie, aeyoung was being dragged by someone! we need to help her-"
"we can't noona." the boy said, keeping his head low.
"why? kookie, what if aeyoung-"
"she's the vampire queen, noona." he said.
the boy didn't let the girl speak and immediately walked her to their house while she cried.
she hopped to the window and was about to close it when jungkook stopped her and said something.
-
years has passed, the family was still in despair at the sudden loss of their child. they didn't blame it on y/n as she's the only one who was there.
they believed the vampire already killed aeyoung, so they stopped hoping she would come back. they didn't fight back and protest as they know,
humans are just ants for them.
y/n still felt guilty for not watching for her little sister.
she still cry every night, missing her little sister.
the family decided to move as they're scared that their town was full of danger.
they needed to start a new life and freely move without getting worried someone would attack them.
y/n's father worked as a sword maker while her mother was a researcher, the whole family was against vampires, making them think of way they could defeat them.
as they ran away from that dangerous town.
they didn't know there was something big happening.
her dad was watching tv and y/n was on her way upstairs in her room until she heard her father watching news about vampires again.
"it's been almost 11 years since the king demon and queen vampire had their son, which is the first immortal hybrid, prince jeon jungkook."
she flopped on her bed.
she got worried to her little's sister's friend that he might feel lonely after aeyoung died.
she still remember what he said when he stopped her,
"i'll come back for you, noona."
