How can you replace a Mother?
Her love boundless,
Patience incomparable,
The most resourceful,
The most benevolent,
The very symbol of life,
She bears us, nourishes us
Feeds us, supports us,
She never complains,
Doesn't cry foul,
A hopeful trusting mother,
Waited for her child to mend his ways
And this time he went too far,
Losing last bit of humanity,
Ransacking her wealth,
Wrecking all lives,
Driven by greed, power and ego,
Snatching her offsprings like trophies
Bombing all homes
Polluting and poisoning her body,
Becoming the cancer that consumed her,
With a grief-stricken heart
She decided to get him a cure
And as it goes, medicines are bitter
So is the mother's wrath
She gave him a time-out,
Sat him in a corner,
Tending to her wounds
Hoping his madness will heal
Behold!
Nature doesn't need him to thrive,
He needs them to survive,
Dear son! Mother Earth is curing.
