"The Soul Gate, Part 1"

The woman brought them to the heart of the under city. "This--" She didn't have much time to speak before she was cut off by Hoseok & Jungkook in complete awe, "The soul gate !?" The odd woman rolled her eyes, but it their suspicion was true. This is the soul gate. Jin reached out to touch it when the woman smacked his hand away. "그러지마세요 대문에 손을 대는 것은 결과를 낳습니다." (Don't do that. Touching the gate has consequences.) 

Yoongi then asked the million dollar question. The question they all were thinking. "Then what do you think we should do ?" The woman wasn't intimidated in the slightest. She'll dealt with this gate before though. Her concern was entirely for seven who she knew intended to walk through the gate. "Prepare yourselves. Once you walk through the gate...who knows what will become of you."

A few minutes went by before the boys lined up. Taehyung & Jimin held hands, Jimin was insanely nervous. What if nothing happens ? What if this was all a giant mistake ? everything could change the moment they cross through the gate. 

Walking through was the uneventful part. Nothing big happened when each of them cross through. The most that happened was a bright flash of light before there was absolutely nothing. For the woman still standing by the gate...time seemed to freeze. 

Those who walked through the gate, were now implanted in the living memories of their ancestors.

Back then..

Seven boys were very much the black sheep of their families. They had seen nothing wrong with magic or the witches in Seoul. Cha Jeonghyeon hugged Yoongi. "Missed me ?" The seven boys were very much in shock, & had no recollection of the soul gate or that they were from a different time. What was this ?

Yoongi rolled his eyes. "이거 놔요, 형씨. 제가 공공장소에서 애정표현하는 거 싫어하는 거 아시잖아요." (Let go of me, hyung. You know I don't like public displays of affection.) Yoongi was very warmhearted, but cold on the outside. He never appreciated skinship or affection of any kind in public. He always had a feeling it would bring him unwanted attention. Jeonghyeon immediately let go of him, clinging onto Jungkook. "Why don't we all head to the hideout ?"

They were friends. They made their way to their hideout in a cheerful & delighted mood. Everyone was fascinated with Jeonghyeon & the power he possessed. Sadly, the seven among their small group didn't have the luxury of giving up their family for their dear friend. 

You see, not all witches were entirely or inherently evil. Sickness & trivial immature acts plagued their home for as long as anyone could remember. Early that day a few people hung out by the river when a dazed woman started walking towards the river. It was like her body was in complete control & her mind was fogged with a single command. 

They tried pulling this woman, talking with, & even blocking her path. Nothing could be helped. She just wouldn't stop. That is when she muttered the single command in her mind aloud. "가보세요. 물가로 가셔야 해요. 싸우지 마세요." (Go. You must go to the water. Don't fight it.) It then had become quite clear that she was under a spell. She completed her command, much to the dismay of those who witnessed her. Word quickly spread around town. 

Once home the seven were tied up by their families. They were being thrown all kinds of insults & hearing all kinds of rumors about Jeonghyeon & his family. They were just boys then...

There was no anticipating that things would turn out the way they would.
