Snake-Man... or Naw?
So...
We're almost to 100 guys! Thanks so much ;^; such happiness!
I was still in Levi's lap, hearing the three boys formulating a plan to kill the older man, when I heard it; the first shatter of a vase. Kid instantly stood, looking nervous when he saw that it hadn't come from the TV.
"What was that?" Liz asked, her voice shaking and Maka having to whisper to her to tell her to stop grabbing her arm so tightly.
There was another noise, a painting falling, maybe, and Kid began to walk to the door. "I'll go check." He said, his fists balling. "If there's a burglar, and they're messing up the symmetry of the house, I swear..." he said, trailing off as he left the room.
"I can still see hell, my love." Came from the lips of the actress on the TV, and we decided that it would be best to turn it off.
We paused the movie, and settled back, waiting for Kid to come back. We heard more noises, and then the doorbell rang. Eren stood, walking to the hallway. "I can check." He said, disappearing. Levi's eyes watched him go.
The room was dark, save for the light coming from the television, and I wondered just how many other people, or things, were in the house as I heard yet more noises.
A moment later, I heard a yelp, and Eren came running back into the movie room, his face white as a sheet. "Eren?" Maka asked, and Levi shifted.
The brunette pointed in the direction of the door. "There was a snake!" he said.
We all jumped up, and Patti was the first to speak. "I'll catch it, and keep it as a pet!" she said. We all looked at her, until Eren shook his head.
"Like..." he said, waving his hands in the air. "A snake-man!" he said. We were all silent for a moment, staring at Eren, his eyes watching us carefully. "I'm not joking!"
There was a flash behind him, and we saw a head of black hair. I froze. It looked just like—
"I can still see hell," the girl said, looking at us with red eyes. She raised the bloody knife in her hand, about to stab it into Eren. "My love." She said.
"Eren, move!" Levi said, but the boy had already dicked and dodged the moving knife.
"What the hell?!" Nagisa said. "What is that thing?"
The girl with black hair, her eyes glowing with demonic light and her pale skin stained with blood, began to laugh hysterically. I stood when Levi pushed me a little, and I watched the girl as she held her stomach as she laughed, and then she was gone, disappearing into the house.
"We should get out of the house." Touka said calmly, and we all nodded, and began to quickly walk to the front door.
Soul grabbed the doorknob, but when he tried to turn it, it wouldn't budge. "Shit." He said, and looked back at us. His red eyes met mine, and it looked as if he was trying to tell me something.
"If we split up, they won't be able to find us as easily!" Nagisa said, and grabbed Rei's hand, running off with him into the huge house. We all agreed that would be a good idea, and we split off into groups of two or three. Black Star grabbed one of my arms gently, and Soul took the other one, glaring at each other, but not saying anything.
"What about Kid?" I asked. We hadn't seen him since he had left the movie room maybe ten minutes earlier.
"We'll find him." Soul said, looking as if the words tasted bitter. I just nodded, feeling the blood draining from my face as fear gripped me.
"Okay. We'll split up now." I said, and the two boys began to gently pull me off in the direction of the stairs.

It had been bad when I had found the vase on the floor, shattered. And even worse when I had found the painting, the paper inside torn apart. But when I found everything in the living room askew, I swore that I would find the people who had done this and make them feel my wrath.
I was now upstairs, walking down the hallway. For some reason, it felt much, much longer than it actually was. I would've sworn that I had already passed all of the bedrooms, but here I was, passing mine again.
I looked up as I heard a rasping whisper. I spun around, seeing that the hallway stretched out for an immense distance behind me. I instantly knew that this was the work of a witch.
I heard the whisper again, my name, and I spun around, seeing a flickering image at the end of the hallway. It was a girl, but she—
I began running. I was getting closer, but it looked like she was still so far away. I finally was about fifteen feet away from her, and I stopped as soon as I saw the dark, black angel wings. My body was frozen as I stared at the ragged body of Mari.
'I'm hallucinating...' I thought.
The hallucination of Mari turned her head, smiling at me, and I almost gasped at the sight of her eye, dangling from her face. It had reverted back to its original colour, light baby blue grey, and the pupil moved, looking up at me. "Kid..." she said, a smile creasing her face as black blood began to pour from her mouth, staining her lips the dark color.
"Mari...?" I said, not wanting to admit that the figure in front of me was the girl that seemed so happy now. "How... how did you get like this?" I asked. I paused, guilt running over me. "...Again?" I finished, looking down.
She started laughing and I could feel black magic begin to run over me with a black intensity. "No!" I yelled, my voice full of the fear that seemed to be growing in my chest, and I knew that it was because of the thing's magic. I turned and began to run, my body seeming to be moving slow.
'This is just a hallucination... just a hallucination..." the hallway seemed endless, and I couldn't seem to get to the end that I could usually run in less than thirty seconds. 'A witch must be using her magic on me..." he thought as he passed a door, and he stumbled, barely catching himself. There seemed to be an eerie whispering in the hall, and it grew louder and louder, sounding like possessed animals.
Then suddenly, the whispering stopped, and the hallway became its normal self. I almost stumbled on the edge of the stairs, but caught myself. When I looked back to where the image of Mari had been, there was nothing there.
I turned and ran down the stairs, calling for the others.

Soul and Black Star's hands were warm on my skin as we walked through the house, noticing things falling off the walls at random. Every time a painting fell, or a vase fell from its pedestal, I jumped, and Black Star and Soul's grips tightened a little.
I heard something and spun around. It turned out to just be a chair moving across the room. "Is there... ghosts?!" I asked, squeezing the two boys' arms.
"No..." Soul said. "Well, there shouldn't be, because it's the reapers house."
I nodded, not so sure about it.
"Don't worry, (y/n)." Black Star said. "I'll kill the ghosts if they even try and touch you." He said.
I smiled a little. "Okay." I said.
"Children~" a voice said, and I spun around, seeing a figure in the doorway of the living room which we were now in. I gasped as I saw its scaly, glistening body in the semi-darkness. It was a snake-man (type thing...), and I realized that Eren had been telling the truth.
The snake thing grinned at us, slitted eyes looking over me. It moved forward fast, and its fingers caressed my cheek. "Love." It said in its rasping voice.
I screamed, and both Black Star and Soul's fist slammed into the snake-man's face, or, where he had been. He was now across the room, laughing at us. "I already killed your little friends... Maka, Liz, Patti, and Tsubaki, was it?" he asked.
"You didn't..." I said, rage growing in me. I ran forward, a little magic flickering on my fist, but the snake thing grabbed me before I could touch him.
"(Y/n)!" Soul and Black Star yelled, running forward.
But the snake-man's hands had already gripped me, and I was suddenly being dragged off so fast I couldn't even register what was happening. The rooms blurred as the thing picked up speed, and I tried to scream, but its hand moved over my mouth.
By the time we had stopped, I was dizzy, and my head was spinning. We were in a dark room, and the thing pushed me to a wall. Before I could think anything else, something metal clicked around my wrist and I fell to the floor.
"Stay here." The thing said, and was gone.
I looked at the cold metal on my wrist, and realized that it was a shackle, leading off with a chain to a stonewall. "Where...?" I asked, looking around, until I heard the click of a door and I was plunged into darkness.
Panic raced over me and I gulped, my heart rate beginning to speed up drastically. "Help!" I squeaked.
