12 Years Later

Astra begins having recurring dreams of her past lives, filled with strange symbols and voices. One night, she encounters a mysterious figure in her dreams, a soul reaper, who hints at the existence of her past.

Soul Reaper: "You think this life is yours alone? Oh, how little you understand... You've died a thousand deaths, and I've been there for every one."

Astra: "Who are you? What do you want from me?"

Soul Reaper: "Not from you—for you. When the time comes, you will remember everything."
