THERE WAS SOMETHING ERRATIC about the mischievous, young lass named Kimika June Oswald. And not only the fact that she was one of four brown skinned children in the whole entire school; the second being her young brother, Dakari.

No it wasn't that.

Kimi had a gift. Psychokinetic abilities.

There are two things that one with such unique abilities would choose to do with their gift;

1: hold dear to their advantage and use it to the best of their ability, or

2: utterly despise it and try their hardest to run away from it.

You might guess what poor Kimika Oswald wished she could do.

The eccentric ability had only truly formed a little before and after her 11th birthday, when puberty started taking a hit.

But it was always there; she knew it, she felt it.

And no matter how hard she tried to keep it away, the lights that always flickered whenever she felt a strong emotion, constantly reminded her of how unique and bizarre her existance was.

"She's an odd, sensitive soul" nearly every teacher described her as. She could only be as dull as possible so as to draw as much attention away from her, but it did quite the opposite.

As time progressed, the little girl would attract certain private governmental scientists, who indulged in studying her. She was at an age young enough to think that these were just trivial check-ups, but it actually lead up to the revealing of her true identity, that is, well-

she doesn't know exactly what she is.

Or how exactly she came to be...

All the doctors noticed a difference in her brain compared to the average child, telling mom that there was a certain irregularity. Unknowingly referring to her abilities, these irregularities were still "dormant".

But like a young, inactive volcano that is yet to errupt, so are Kimika's supernatural abilities.

Of course, one with these gifts of manipulation, should be kept a secret, no one could know. No one except for about three people, they were the only ones that had an idea on what was to be expectd of the girl, making sure her talent remained hidden, so she wouldn't be treated any differently than she already was.

But despite this, it's easy to feel alone, or misunderstood in the vast and vicous sea we call our world, especially with the big secret to hide from the close minded, greedy society.

But on one spring night of the late 1950s, one simple inconvenience, a seemingly insignificant outbreak of emotion, changed her life forever.

What ignited this life changing disruption?

Was she the only one with these precious gifts, and therefore the first unofficial subject on the commencement of Dr Brenner's great program?

How long until more found out about these 'gifts'?

please patiently go along with the plot and my characters relationship with everyone around her. this story is about her. kimi is like an additional character with a juicy ass that needs to be explained, and in order to understand her and also get to the lovey dovey stuff, we need to understand how we got there, yeah ?
