Morning has come as the sun rises. All of the workers at Anteiku stood up and stretched their ghoul bodies that are invincible to knives and normal gun bullets. "Time for another day of working." Touka said to herself as she got ready. As the same goes for Kaneki and the rest. All except for Hinami. She was still sleeping, dreaming about the tragic day her parents were killed by Doves or known as ghoul investigators. Though the killers are dead already, more were sent but they never followed up the lead of who killed the doves. Anteiku was safe.

Flashback

"Mama! I smell papa!" Hinami smelt her father though both girls didn't knew he was killed by doves though injured by the S-rated ghoul name Jason who lives in the 13th ward. "Hinami! Come back here!" Her Mother tried to catch up to her, but Hinami had a more energetic body, a young one as well so she couldn't even. As their scene happened in public, a bunch of ghoul investigators followed them. "Papa! Papa!" Hinami went down to the alley to see 2 men with grey outfits and umbrellas. "Too has papa isn't here." A man laughed harshly.

"Eh? Papa is in there?" Hinami's eyes averted towards that bag that had her father's kagune. "I heard ghouls had a better sense of smell than dogs do, turns out the researchers were right." The ghoul investigators were prepared for battle. The other ccg members were behind them shooting kagune bullets but Hinami's Mother deflected them with her large koukaku appeared satisfying the doves. She sheltered both her daughter and her. As she hugs Hinami, "I love you, now please run for me.." They both were crying. "I'm sorry mama..". "It's okay, children always make mistakes." They both hugged.

Hinami ran as fast as she could. The ccg member Mado, pulled out his new quinque which surprised Hinami's Mother. "No way! Impossible.." She cried with a cracked voice. "Would you like to join him?" Mado asked, Hinami's Mother smiled as it sliced her head never to be seen again. Eventually Touka settled up a plan to erase Mado which didn't work. But to a surprise, Hinami killed Mado. It was her first time but she didn't care. She didn't want love ones dying just to save her. After that day she ran away missing both her Mother and Father.

End of Flashback

Everyone in Anteiku was working now. Hinami woke up and went to the main room where she smelled her friends. She opened the door. "Ah Hinami!" Touka was surprised to see her, glad she was okay. "Hello Onee chan." She smiled for the first time in weeks. "Ah yes my Hinami is happy at last." A man with violet hair just like Touka appeared. "Shu? What are you doing here?" Touka asked, disgusted. "I heard Hinami came back so I thought I would make her happy." Shu sipped a cup of coffee, his eyes widened, "Tres Bien! This absolute flavored alters my taste buds in such Harmonnnny!" He made a big scene which made the customers uncomfortable.

"You're gonna make the customers go away, do it quietly." Touka growled reaching her note pad as Kaneki accidentally touched a Her hands. They both looked at each other and blushed.
