They must be talking about her. Afterall it is her graduation....

Eh..it can't be me. I am dumb and everyone knows it. I hope they know it...

"Carol!?"

"Yeah?"

"What were you thinking?" My dad asked.

"Oh! Nothing. Why dad?" I asked him instead.

"Well, you heard what we were talking about right?"

"Of course I did." I smiled.

"Then tell us what you understood." He raised his eyebrow.

Shoot. He knows I am lying.

"Well, you were talking about business and how Caroline will take over the empire after her training." I said, silently praying it's true.

All the men laughed.

I am confused. Why are they laughing? What did I say....did I do something funny?

"Your father, Mr.Stephen, is really a smart man." A voice spoke.

I turned to see that he was dressed in a brown suit. He had that "girls loves to kiss me" kind of look and a "I love to use girls in room" kind of vibe.

"Yes, I think.. I know that too." I replied to him and smiled.

What! I am awkward around people okay? Also, I love making people feel awkward...

My dad laughed and said, "My daughters are my pride, gentlemen. The elder one is the sweet and smart one. Whereas the younger one..." He looked at me and smiled "..She is someone you shouldn't really mess with."

All eyes were on me.

Where the hell is Caroline!!!!!

She knows what to say and when to speak. Where is my lovely old sister.

"Where is Caroline, father?" I asked.

"She is meeting her future husband." That man spoke again.

I took a deep breath and looked at dad.

"Dad? Where is she. What's happening?"

He smiled and said, "let's not rush into it Mr.Peter. They are still yet to know each other." He turned to me and added, "Your sister is actually dancing with Mr.Jack over there. He quite sweet and a gentleman as well."

"I will see about that" I murmered.

"What was that?" Mr.Peter, I think, asked.

"Non of your business. Please, excuse me." I smiled at them and went towards where my dad at pointed. I searched the place but couldn't find her.

I looked around the bar, the dance floor, the "we-know-each-other-" talk floor a.k.a the place where the wives of the business men were chatting.

"Where is she.." I asked myself quietly.

"Parker!"

My bodygaurd came forward.

"Have you seen my Sister, Caroline?"

"Yes. She went with a man inside the room upstairs, ma'am." He replied.

"How many times should I tell you not to call me "ma'am", Parker?"

"I don't think that's our concern right now, Carol." He said.

"Well, that's true. Let's go upstairs."

He nodded and lead the way towards my sister.

"Who was he? The one she was dancing with?"

"He was Mr.Jack. Your father's business partner also, the talk is going on for their marriage, for business purposes."

"Oh." I said.

"We have reached, should I knock?" He whispered.

"No." I said and forced myself in the room.

And my my, ain't I glad I actually barged in.

"Not the crazy stuffs again." My bodygaurd sighed and murmered.

I stiffled my laugh and stared hard at the man Infront of me.
