Part Two
Phillipa was abruptly woken from her wonderful dreams by hands grabbing her hips harshly causing her to breath to hitch.
"You up gorgeous...?" George's voice came out slurred and excited. Phillipa stayed still, keeping her eyes shut tightly praying that he would think she was asleep. "Baby..." He whispered in her ear causing her to shudder.
"So you are awake..." a smirk forming on his lips as he began kissing Phillipas neck, she could feel herself growing a bit tense.
"Love, I'm so tired..." she told him I'm weak voice. "Please, I need to sleep, I have to go-"
"So I'm not good enough for you?" He demanded his grip on her waist tightening causing her to wince.
"No-no sweetheart, I would never say that.. I just don't have the energy to.. to give you all I can..." she whispered, her voice shaking as she spoke.
"Don't lie to me-"
"I would never, I swear-"
"Don't fucking cut me off either you bitch." He seethed causing her to tremble with fear.
"I- I am so sorry baby, I didn't- I didn't mean to I swear." She stuttered as her heart pounded in her chest, she was closer to tears than she would like to admit and she tried her best not to seem shaken.
"Then give me a kiss." He demanded as her turned around so she would face him, he pulled her closer to his body.
"I-"
"Kiss." Was all he said and his lips were pressed harshly to hers, she gave in immediately knowing it was useless to fight him. She just gave in, what was the use trying to fight at all, it was all pointless.

Phillipa made her way to work as quickly as she could, her body still achey from the night before, she got ready putting on her makeup then just left. She didn't stop for breakfast or coffee before leaving the apartment. She just left, though she had a feeling that she'd be in trouble for not making George breakfast, but right now she couldn't think about it.
When she got into work everything was quiet as it usually was. The diner never got busy until lunch then dinner time, she found that people didn't really want to go to musical diner in the morning. Which Phillipa was grateful for because she didn't want to sing at this time in the morning. In fact as of lately Phillipa found she didn't want to sing most of the time. For her it used to be something happy, when she was in school and thought that maybe she could be on off-broadway or even broadway show.
Apparently, she was wrong and she didn't know just how hard it was to take rejection until it happened over and over and over again. Now she just couldn't take it between everyone on the stage telling her she wasn't good enough, to George telling her the same, to working for hours in a job where she felt like a nothing. sometimes it just felt like everything was getting to be way to much.
Work dragged on as it usually did, every single moment seeming to last longer than it should. The morning crowd came and went, luckily during the lunch rush she got to help in the kitchen so she didn't have to do any performances. That was her until the dinner rush, sadly they had enough people in the kitchen and most definitely didn't need her help.
So every hour they did a group performance and one person would have to do a solo. It was Phillipas' turn and honestly, she didn't want to go up, part of her was racing to think of a way, any way, that she could get out of this. However, she couldn't think of anything fast enough and before she knew it she was pushed out in front of everyone.

The morning was filled with absolute joy for Lin, waking up from the night before was like waking up from a dream that just continued on. Last night had truly been amazing, besides getting to have take-out, which was always a joy. He and his wonderful wife watched movie after movie, which was really just background noise while they made out.
His life couldn't seem to get better, after a nice breakfast of pancakes with Vanessa, she headed to work and lin headed to the theatre. Auditions were starting, he really couldn't tell if he was nervous or excited, either way, he was left with a vague feeling of needing to throw up. He didn't know what would be coming next, he just prayed that he would find the people he was looking for.
Lin did in fact find a few people that he was happy Have join his cast, not very many people even showed up. He had a feeling that people didn't want to be apart of such a weird show, luckily he had contracted a few people that he thought might be great in the show. And luckily they all showed up and were as great as he thought they'd be but he didn't have everyone he needed. No, not nearly enough so he went home feeling slightly dejected about the whole matter.
"What's wrong?" Vanessa asked as he set down his bag on the couch.
"What? Nothing, I'm fine." He lied giving her sweet smile before sitting down right next to her.
"You realize I am your wife, and I'm not an idiot, I can tell something's bothering you Lin." She told him, her hand grasping his.
Lin sighed softly, "auditions didn't go the way I wanted them to." He confessed honestly feeling a little stupid about being upset about that.
"Well you can't tell me you expected a million people to be lining up for a musical, about a founding father most people don't really remember."
"Yeah, Yeah I know.." He conceded, adding on. "I just thought more people would be there... I suppose I'll just have to ask more people." He shrugged as he laid his head back.
"Hey, how about we get your mind off this for a little while?" Vanessa suggested with a smile forming on her lips.
"How?"
"Well I found this really cool diner, I thought we could go check it out?" She suggested. "It's like vintage musical themed, right up your alley..." she added, peaking Lin's interest in the subject.
"Yeah, Yeah That sounds awesome." He said a small smile starting to form on his lips.
Vanessa had been right, this fun themed diner definitely brightened up Lin's mind set. Though there was quite a lot of other people there for the dinner rush, it was still very fun.
That's when he saw her, he hadn't expected but as soon as she started singing he knew that he needed to meet her. He needed her, she was perfect... for his musical, of course.
"It's her..." he mumbled, his eyes transfixed brown eyed girl singing.
"It's who..?" Vanessa whispered sounding confused.
"It's her, she's got to play Eliza." He told her a grin forming on his lips as he thought about it.
"Really?" She asked still confused.
"Yes." He said firmly yet quietly as to not disturb anyone else. "I found my Eliza."
