Questions And Witch Hunts

Hello, everyone! Hope you all are doing well! I wanted to upload this chapter on Halloween but I spent it cleaning the house.

Also, I was exhausted, and a bit TMI, due to an undiagnosed PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) I hadn't had a period for 289 days and during October it suddenly came and I bled for 20 days and that exhausted me. And Halloween was the first day without a period and I decided to clean the house.

After that, my mental health became a struggle and between my everyday routine and evening school, I grew more tired as the weeks went on. But today, I found some spec of strength and I did some things such as study to catch up on some subjects that I started having gaps in, tidy up my wardrobe and re-read and corrected this chapter and the following ones.

Thus, I'm uploading!

With this chapter, I suggest listening to Conan Grey - Family Line, Yiannis Was A Serbezis - Bana of Eastern Romilia Greek folk music, Tromeros Kotsiras - Greek Pontic song, Kyr Vorias - Heriotikos Trampanistos From the Black Sea and Eastern Thrace, Znariatikos Trampanistos - From Romilia, Zonaradikos - From Thrace (7:43 mins version), Margoudi - Folk Greek Thracian Song (the 3 mins version. When I wrote this I had written it while listening the Greek/Bulgarian version but YouTube brought it down so I added the original Greek version of the song).

BEWARE THERE ARE TALKS ABOUT BOMBINGS, WORLD WAR 3 AND DEATHS READ IT AT YOUR OWN ACCORD!

Enjoy!!!

The next day she got up and saw that Stefan was waiting for her.

"Are we going to talk about the party?" He asked as they drove to school and Elena fought to eye roll.

"What is there to talk about? I went party hopping and forgot to text you all, end of story." Elena said unsure of what Stefan wanted to hear.

"What about the music?"

"I don't know where the DJ found his playlists, Stefan." Elena said shrugging and eyeing him in an annoyed manner.

"But you knew the DJ." Stefan pressed.

"Stefan, I didn't know the DJ we were just dancing. Why are you like this?" Elena asked annoyed as she glared at him.

"Because the you from the party isn't you!" Stefan exclaimed suspiciously and Elena let out an annoyed growl.

"I was having fun! I wasn't always depressed you know! That me you saw at the party that was a glimpse of the old me, the me whose parents were alive." Elena answered annoyed and they had just arrived at school.

Throughout the day Elena avoided Stefan as much as she could until Stefan found her at lunch and apologized. Elena accepted it because she had no emotional strength to deal with puppy dog eyes from him. She felt something was off around her and as she turned around she saw some agitated faces that mirrored her sense of disturbance. They held her gaze and some even gave her an acknowledging nod.

Something changed.

She needed to speak to her ancestors of hers. She needed a quiet place to meditate.

Sitting inside an empty classroom she had locked with her magic she sat on top of a desk and she focused. Connecting to the ancestral plane had always been easy for her, even in her past life without being a witch she could see her dead relatives of hers. They would give her insight and warnings, she theorized that it happened because one she was born dead making the tether to the afterlife much stronger than anyone else's and two she was depressed and had this darkness around her soul always what drove her to kill herself plus she never feared death. The same darkness she felt in this life too.

Eyes closed she felt the chilly wind and the smell of old wine fill her nostrils and she knew she made it. Opening her eyes she saw a woman with warm brown eyes and long wavy brown hair, tan skin and a knowing look.

"Marilena." The woman nodded her head and spoke in a Bulgarian accent.

"You're Sophia Petrova, Katerina's younger sister." Elena realized and spoke in fluent Bulgarian and the woman smiled nodding her head.

"You're here because you felt the disturbance too." Sophia stated and Elena nodded and followed Sophia who had started walking. They were inside an abandoned Orthodox church that looked familiar to Elena.

"Where are we?" Elena asked her as she saw a broken holy icon on the floor.

"You mean you don't recognize it?" Sophia asked her amused and Elena furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head no.

"You're standing where your grandmother fell and broke her hip because of you, the same injury that led her to have her first heart attack and end up with a heart monitor until her death." Sophia stated and Elena flinched away from it finally realizing where they were.

"Saint Paraskevi church..." Elena mumbled pained and then picked up the icon of the Holy Mary holding it gracefully as she put it aside before studying it and shaking her head.

"The Turks did this, didn't they? Bombed every Orthodox church?" Elena asked with unshed tears in her eyes and burning anger.

"No, that was the Russians. Surprisingly the Turks didn't touch the churches, they didn't even have bombs to throw." Sophia answered back with sympathy.

"How long after my death did the invasion happen?" Elena asked with a clenched jaw and fists.

"Mere 48 hours. It was night." Sophia answered softly and Elena nodded.

"What happened to my parents? To my family?"

"Your dad and your male cousins were sent to the front lines along with your cousin Helena, they died a year later in different parts of the country...all except Helena. Helena was a prisoner of war but escaped and continued fighting. She was the last of your family alive. She became Minister of Defense of Greece and died at 98 years old having two kids, Marilena and Andreas, named after you and your other cousin. Your niece and nephew became incredible people. Mari, as she likes to be called, joined the European Space Agency. Andreas became a meteorologist and a writer like your grand-uncle George. Andreas wrote a series of books about witches and parallel universes. He claims it all came to him in a dream...he's a Dream Walker just like you were." Sophia explained as she walked beside Elena who was busy picking up holy icons dusting them off and putting them safely to the sides.

"Dream Walker?" Elena asked shocked as she turned to eye Sophia. Slater had mentioned this term a few times.

"Yes, select a few people who can astral project to other planes of existence and even parallel universes during their REM sleep." Sophia explained factually and Elena made a mental note to research this herself.

"What criteria do you need to be a Dream Walker?" Elena asked intrigued and Sophia smirked.

"To be descended of a witch." She said amused and Elena looked taken aback but nodded.

"Interesting, thank you...so as Marilena I was descended from a witch? Does any similar kind of magic exist in my old home? Is it any similar to here?" Elena asked interested and Sophia sighed deeply.

"Yes, it's the same. But you're being sidelined, child." Sophia reminded her and Elena nodded before apologizing.

"What has changed?" Elena asked remembering the reason why she was here.

"Many events that were meant to happen won't happen so the timeline is trying to heal itself by stitching things together...beware of the spies of Katherine and Isobel. They're coming." Sophia warned seriously as she held Elena's hands and Elena nodded thankful for her intel.

"Thank you for telling me, although I knew something similar would happen. I think I felt the danger in the air."

"So did all your fellow witches. Makeup with Enzo, child, you'll need him. Slater is all knowledge on the factual side but you need ears on the ground, as they say, and Enzo has them." Sophia warned her and Elena sighed in defeat.

"I will try...thank you...any other advice?"

"Yes, two actually...Finn will be your forever and your nephew Andreas might pop by for a few visits throughout the years, you're his inspiration for the books." Sophia clued her in with a small yet warm smile before hugging her goodbye.

Returning from the meditation she noticed that she felt much calmer now and felt this feeling of love and support it made her feel tingly. She smiled softly as she decided to return to class.

She spent Home Room writing fake apology letters to Enzo and kept not being able to compose anything. She decided the best course of action was to confront him. She texted him and by the end of the school day, she saw a reply.

"Come by my apartment."

Elena said she had homework to catch up from her week away with her friends picked up food from the Grill and then teleported from her room to Enzo's apartment.

"I'm sorry for killing you. But I stand by what I said."

"Then you're not sorry."

"Enzo..."

"Lena.."

The two glared at each other and Elena couldn't see how to build a bridge with him when she was so offended by his insinuation that she didn't fight to get out of that hellhole.

"You know what? You're right. I'm not sorry and you hurt me by saying that I didn't fight back and just took it! You should know how it is to be overpowered because you haven't fed and you have been injured. Tell me, didn't you have cellmates that were used as a weapon for emotional torture? You gave the wrong answer they were getting hurt instead of you? It was like that only added sexual violence to the mix. I couldn't in the clean conscious attempt and fail to know that I wouldn't just get hurt or killed but other innocents would be dragged with me. I wasn't weak." Elena addressed him head on and her eyes were cold. Gone was the warmth she showed him, the unguarded trust.

Watching him being so silent it pissed her off so she opened the bag of food and grabbed her burger, fries and cola before she threw the bag on the table.

"Good talk..." She threw over her shoulder and walked over to the apartment.

"You signed up for this!" Enzo called after her and Elena froze as she turned almost hurting her neck.

"I signed up for a team to have my back, that hell wasn't it!" She yelled angrily and then left again.

"Fucking malakas..." Elena mumbled as she walked out of the apartment and inside the elevator she opened a portal to her room.

At home she was reminded by Jenna that the Founder's Kick Off Party was starting making it that Uncle slash Papa John was coming along with Isobel and her aunt Jenna who had started flirting with Alaric months ago was going to go on a date.

That also meant she had to warn Pearl and Anna and Harper of John to be mindful of their steps. Pearl was already trying to buy her old apothecary.

"I will be by your side but I will be invisible to everyone but you." Finn told her as she got dressed.

"And I thank you so so much! The good news is that maybe with things moving a bit quicker, we get to meet in flesh and bone. I love you...I love you in a way I can never love Stefan. You're my forever and I hope I'm yours." Elena said seriously and genuinely as she turned around and cupped his face and he smiled as he encircled his arms around her and kissed her.

"You're my forever too...after I speak with Sage and clear things with her. I have seen her live her life but part of her is waiting for me. I want to be transparent and I hope you do the same with Stefan when the time comes." Finn said to her softly as he held her in his arms.

After a few minutes of holding each other they let go and Elena continued getting ready. She knew that she was emotionally cheating on Stefan but he too was in a sense, he started dating her because she looked like Katherine. Something they hadn't talked about yet.

As she and Stefan drove together she finally broached the subject.

"As far as I know is that you might be related to her. As to why you look identical I'm guessing the genes have a sense of humor." Stefan said shrugging without really showing the same emotional investment in comforting her as the OG Stefan had. Granted their relationship wasn't the same as theirs.

Elena nodded and kept silent after that, things were still cold between them.

"I feel like you're hiding something." Stefan said suddenly and Elena froze momentarily before she focused.

"I know I'm adopted, Stefan, and I know that my biological mother is a vampire turned by Damon. She's also the supposed dead wife of our history teacher who is currently dating my aunt. And on top of that my biological father is my uncle John. Which brings me to this; both Uncle Papa John and Isobel are coming to town and they're sent by Katherine to spy on Anna's mum because she heard the tomb was opened. How do I know? While I was doing my research for the tomb vampires I met a few people who warned me about Katherine. They said that she's sending her best spies in town, her best spies are my bio-parents. That is all I'm hiding, Stefan, I went to that party because my contact was there and learning all of it...it made me feel a certain way." Elena rambled as both remained in the car long after Stefan had parked his car.

"What?" Stefan managed to utter in shock and Elena nodded as she blinked tears away. Tears for show of course.

"So, Katherine is coming here?"

"In due time I think so...I will warn today Anna and you have to warn Damon, he's been more of the tolerable version of himself but I'm sure my Uncle will make an entrance during the Founders' Kick-Off Party and I don't want more drama." Elena rambled putting on a worried act.

"Okay...we got this..." Stefan said perplexed.

"Oh! And I'm sorry you found out like that about your situation." Stefan said softly and Elena nodded as Stefan reached her to kiss her.

At school, she tracked down Anna and warned her who nodded and thanked her for the info. The rest of the school day was normal nothing odd. Around noon as Elena was getting ready with the girls for the party she got a text from Stefan saying he broke the news to Damon and he was justifiably mad and was sending his thanks to her for the information.

Uncle John made his appearance in their house right after school and Elena glared at him when he wasn't looking. She had never had a good relationship with her dads all but Grayson, he was good to her.

The Founders Kick-Off Party started without a hitch. She was glad that this time Matt and Vicki got to attend as plus ones. Vicki was keeping company to Jeremy since Anna was with her mum here and her mum seemed to disapprove of their relationship. Matt was with Caroline and Bonnie came with her Grams. Damon came alone and Stefan was her plus one. Jenna was with Alaric and Tyler came with his parents.

They all though regrouped as the adults let them be at the party. Elena also felt Finn's presence the entire day.

Nothing weird happened everything followed the timeline, no deaths.

Then came Miss Mystic Falls Pageant and Elena did it only because Miranda would have wanted her to. And that too went off without a hitch. After the celebrations, she had a small amount of time to go to the church she used to frequently attend before meeting Stefan and joining the ARMORY. She had a year to step foot there but finding herself at the Saint Paraskevi church of her past life's hometown she felt it was due time.

Arriving at the church she saw a bunch of people dancing and eating it was a true celebration, confused she asked one of the people at the food stands and they told her they were celebrating the name day of the Saint of this church. She thanked the man and smiled before wishing them well wishes in Greek surprising the man who returned them in kind in the same language.

As she walked scoping the place she waved to a few people who recognized her and they waved her over to their tables. In record time she was back in. She was dragged by some elderly ladies to dance of Eastern Roumeli from Eastern Thrace folk dance called Mpana. She remembered the steps from countless celebrations like this one she attended in her past life.

After seven minutes of dancing and smiling at familiar faces and from the happiness she was about to go sit down when the next song that played was a Pontic song and dance called Tromeros Kotsaris she again had grown up dancing since most of her friends were of Pontic descent and she was taught at school how to dance it. In another three minutes and thirty-seven seconds of quick steps, she had done all the cardio she hadn't done in two weeks since she had skipped the gym sessions in favour of actually catching up on schoolwork and pageant things.

In her total airhead moment, she hadn't thought that her very suspicious Uncle would have followed her. So, she hadn't seen him watching her as she danced and had the time of her life. Nor did she see his shocked face at her being able to keep up with what he perceived as complicated footsteps and choreography.

As the song ended Elena was walking back to her table when she heard the first two notes of her maternal grandpa's favourite folk song called Heriotiko Trampanisto a folk song from Eastern Thrace and more specifically near the Black Sea now modern Bulgaria.

She beamed and said;

"That's for you Grandpa Thano!"

Before she rejoined the formation and she started dancing ignoring her rapidly beating heart and the burning in her legs.

John watched her as she became the leader of the group and he could see the experience in her steps and her leading. He then saw a bunch of people standing next to him.

"Excuse me what's going on here?" He asked feigning interest.

"Oh! The church is celebrating its name day, sir!" A teenage boy said dressed in odd clothing that John theorized were folk uniform.

"Name day?" John asked confused.

"Yeah...Excuse me I have to go." The boy said at the sound of bagpipes.

John shook his head and watched as Elena chuckled and quickly changed formation and was given a red-green scarf with golden coins on it and she expertly tied it around her and many others did the same with similar scarves only in different colours. He watched as the people held each other from those scarves and in a specific line they started dancing moving back and forth and slightly sideways.

"Excuse me what is this dance called?" John asked the elderly man who had a cane next to him and was watching with pride and nostalgia in his eyes.

"It's called Zonaradikos it's an Eastern Thracian dance from Greece, a folk dance, sir." The elderly man explained and John couldn't really understand.

"What are the scarves around them? Do the colours mean anything?" John added confused.

"Yes, the scarves are in the colours of the families that these people represent, for example, the leader of the group her family's colours are green and red...like the Highlanders had colours in their kilts. My family's colour was sunny yellow. They serve as belts here but normally are worn on the head. The scarf meant to be tied to the waste is the red one you watch some men and women wear who dress in folk attire. The dance requires it so they can hold on to each other." The man answered as he pointed out.

"How do they know what colour each family is?" John asked as the new song started and the formation was disturbed into pairs and the scarves were waved around as people danced in pairs in semi-circles and twirls before uniting their hands in a similar way as before and started singing along.

"The church has a record of their families they have let them know." The elderly man said in a matter-of-fact tone.

John was shocked to see Elena sing along although he couldn't distinguish her voice or understand the lyrics.

Since when does she know Greek?

"What is the song called?" John asked again the Elderly man.

"Margoudi. It's the story of a girl named Margoudi who wants to see her lover, Alexander, but due to the country being cut in half, she can't. It's a true story when Thrace was cut in parts offered to Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria around the end of the Greco-Turkish war in the summer of 1934." The elderly man explained and John was shocked to realize how recent these events were.

Just then another song started and Elena kept dancing, he was shocked she had the energy left!

"What is this language?" John asked his informant and the man chuckled.

"That's a Thracian Greek dialect, only a few people still speak it. Many historians think had died but I still speak it and so do my grandchildren." The Elderly man said and John nodded impressed.

But begged the questions of how did Elena learned Greek, this dialect and these dances and in general found this community. She seemed to know a lot of people and a lot of people know her.

"What is the name of the girl with the green and red scarf?" John asked intrigued and the man chuckled.

"That's Elena, a super kind girl, she used to help me with groceries when I had got out of surgery, I got a hip replacement. She lost her parents about a year ago and she hadn't shown up at church like she used to but I'm glad to see her back." The elderly man said happily and thankful just then he was called by one of his grandkids so he left.

He was taken aback hearing this back he felt pride too. He watched as Elena at last sat down at a table where she seemed to be laughing at something the guy with the orange shirt said as he handed her a cold bottle of water. She looked sweaty and the elderly man who he had been talking to joined them. John watched as Elena embraced the man before giving him a warm kiss on each cheek.

John didn't see anything odd for an hour, he just watched Elena wolf down food and what looked to be countless of water bottles. So he left and allowed her to reunite with friends. At home, he asked Jenna about Elena's church habits and Jenna shrugged saying that she didn't mind that her niece wasn't Catholic. He was surprised because he didn't get the impression of his daughter, yes his daughter, to be anything faith-related.

Elena returned home barely being able to walk after so much dancing and she was thankful for the weekend ahead. Saturday was spent in bed as all her friends came and they watched movies and played cards. Sunday she did some light exercise to help her muscles and finished her homework.

In the original timeline, during the Founders' Day Celebration, they would have used the device to kill all vampires but the tomb vampires were killed which begged the questions of why Isobel and John were coming.

The whole ordeal about revenge was a lie she came up with to ward off Stefan's nagging.

It didn't take long for the whole pieces of the puzzle to fall into place. Somehow Uncle John found the Gilbert watch and took it from Jeremy's room and now they were hounding Anna and her mum for the invention.

Damon took the invention after Pearl left it for him as she and her daughter with Harper were leaving town. Elena made her heart stone and swallowed her pride and warned Enzo about the device, what they had managed to delay for a few months was happening. He in his turn warned all vampire families to once again take a vacation out of the city for a while. Many didn't like it because they couldn't leave their jobs behind so they risked it. For them, Enzo called ARMORY agents who were just witches, not vampires or werewolves or hybrids of these species to be their protective detail and keep an eye out that included Elena too.

Of course, Damon and Stefan weren't going anywhere....she tried to persuade them but they said no. That brings us to the night when the town threw an uncalled music festival, a festival that in the original timeline wasn't even mentioned!

Elena was with Stefan and Damon as she also kept an eye out for the present vampires.

The device went off and both Stefan and Damon went down as cops went around shooting people with vervain. Elena saw Anna Lewis running saying that she was on the phone with Caroline and they were driving home and Tyler was affected. She had to help them.

After a few seconds, cops surrounded her and she glared at them;

"Touch them and you'll die!" She growled at the cops but they pushed her aside and she slammed into the walls of the alley they had managed to sneak in.

"Big mistake, dicks!" Elena growled as she raised her hands and jerked them sending both cops up in the air and they fell on their backs. Stefan and Damon saw it through their pain and were shocked as Elena stood before them.

The cops got up and tried again but Elena raised her hands to the sky and brought them down with closed fists and both vampires heard multiple bones breaking as the men fell like puppets dead and then Elena waved her hand over their bodies and their bones were healed and tiny gasps were heard as they were brought back from the dead. She touched their heads and she mumbled a quick spell to erase their memories of watching her do magic.

"Let's go!" She pushed them up on their feet and rushed them through the people.

A few steps away from the square she was surrounded by cops and John.

"Elena, get away from them." John said and made a step but Elena in lighting speed had guns in her hands, her 45s, in each hand and aiming them at John's head and the cop's head behind Damon and Stefan.

"I won't. You will let us be or I shoot and my bullets are the real deal, father." Elena said with a cold calculative tone.

"Elena?" Stefan gasped through pain and Damon watched her in confusion and fear.

The father's comment made John look surprised.

"You know."

"I do. Now let us pass or you're making me a father killer." Elena said squinting her eyes just then a bunch of red dots appeared all over the cops and John and Elena chuckled amused as she looked up to see a bunch of snipers dressed in the ARMORY's attire.

"I guess it's my turn to say that I have you surrounded." Elena joked and John looked at her with a face of betrayal and shock.

"You?"

"Yes, me! Now let's us pass!" Elena ordered and John nodded to the cops and they let them pass.

Soon the device stopped working and Stefan with Damon managed to regain their senses by then they had reached Elena's house.

"Elena, what was that at the square? Who were the snipers?" Stefan asked concerned and Elena turned to face them but another voice spoke;

"They were me." Enzo spoke as he had sat waiting on Elena on her porch. Elena spun around to see him and was too surprised but nothing compared to Damon's face.

His face was like he had been gobsmacked, betrayed and seeing a ghost all at once. Elena had to keep herself from laughing.

"Enzo? What are you doing here?" Elena asked calmly yet confused as she climbed the stairs only to be engulfed in a tight hug.

"It was an apology for Iraq." Enzo stated apologetically and Elena looked surprised.

"That was you? The sniper squad?" Elena asked surprised and he nodded.

"Who else would have authorized it?" Enzo asked rhetorically.

"Virginia?" Elena stated in a duh tone.

"Either way, thank you." Elena said genuinely and Enzo hugged her and kissed her head.

"I was so worried back then...so so worried...I'm sorry!" He mumbled as he held her and Elena squeezed him but said nothing she was overwhelmed.

"What the hell is going on?" Damon exclaimed shocked and confused and Elena let go of Enzo wiping her tears as he too did the same.

"Hello, Damon, old friend." Enzo said through gritted teeth and faked a smile and a glare.

"How are you alive?" Damon asked scared and Enzo shrugged.

"None of your business. I have to go. Elena, I'm so glad you're okay." Enzo said coldly as he climbed the stairs.

"Are the others okay?" Elena asked concerned and Enzo nodded and Elena let a relieved sigh and nodded.

"Elena, what's going on? How do you know Enzo?" Damon asked her angrily.

"Enzo is one of my sources." Elena semi-lied.

"You had magic...you have magic...since when?" Stefan asked as he spent those moments trying to piece everything together.

"There are a lot of things you don't know about me. And I don't want to share it with you because it's not safe, Isobel's spies are all over and telling you meaning exposing my weakness to them too. Just know that I'm on your side not against you." She explained with a cryptic yet serious tone.

"I..."

"No, I know you have questions but until they're gone I won't tell you. Respect that." Elena said with an iron will and the brothers understood and didn't press.

"Go home, rest." Elena told them gently. They nodded and left her. Once alone and upstairs in her safe haven, she saw Finn was waiting for her. He opened his arms and Elena rushed to him and she emotionally collapsed, sobbing in his arms.

"Have I told you that you're a warrior and you did incredibly well?" Finn told her as they laid in bed and he was gently going through her hair. She had stopped crying for an hour now, had a shower and was in her pjs. Locked room and window.

A text came from Anna Lewis telling her that Caroline was badly hurt in the car crash and to come by the hospital. And like that, she found herself at the hospital sitting next to Matt, Vicki, Jeremy and Tyler waiting.

Small Spoiler And Insight:

There is a part of this chapter where I describe a Greek folk party with folk dances, all the songs added are traditional songs from my region and where I come from. The stories added behind the songs are the real stories of the songs either told during the song or they're based on historical events or lore. It's my favourite part of this chapter.

Growing up I was never told where our family came from, I was given vague answers and stories that I started piecing together like a puzzle throughout my teen years which got me to fall in love with history. I was around 17 when I semi-learned the truth about my heritage and origins and 18/19 when it sank in as to why I was never told. The reason was trauma, pain, genocides and wars. They wanted me and my sister to grow up free from that. But in my opinion, it made me feel like I had no roots and I was already living a nomadic life due to my dad's job.

During the pandemic, as I was healing from a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), I started speaking to my family asking questions about our history and family. Documents and old photos were uncovered after the last of my older relatives died. My mum's paternal line comes from a small village that no longer exists on the map I had to find a map from the 1890s to see it. Google Maps was a pain in the ass, it only showed a beach and summer homes. Thanks to Reddit I learned that the village was turned into a NATO army base after it was bombed during WW2. My grandpa's family are the few hundred families out of 300 thousand that survived from the village and the surrounding areas. The dialect spoken is long gone, I can't speak it I was never taught. I never met my grandpa otherwise I would have asked questions and demanded to learn the dances and dialect...but I'm 24 years late. Mum has a collection of CDs because she loves Greek folk music and she knows the history and meanings of traditional dresses and jewels because she was taught but she didn't teach us, writing this chapter opened a conversation between me and my mum. I learned so much and I incorporated it into this chapter a bit.

Now I can proudly say that I'm partially from a small village in Eastern Thrace called Eksmili it was located on the peninsula of Gallipoli. I'm still learning and I know I won't learn anything else about my grandpa's family and life before but at least I have an idea, a small root.

So? What do you think? Do you like this chapter? What do you think will happen next?
