The children nodded with no hesitation, the princess immediately clung onto Konohamaru. He had no choice but to carry her bridal style.

They jumped from branch to branch. They were all in panic they didn't even notice Mirushi hiding in the bushes of the tree branches, watching their sensei's fight.

"Fire style: Fire Dragon Bullet!" Ebisu yelled, shooting fire bullets from his mouth.

Only now did Mirushi notice there were 12 masked Shinobi, all men. 5 were konked out from the genjutsu.

A few skillfully dodged it, though the ninja behind were hit instead.

The front ninjas pounced on Saniko-sensei, who looked distracted from the multiple people under her control.

"Sensei!" Mirushi yelled out, 4 ninja whipped their heads in her direction, and she quickly clamped her mouth.

Shoot! She inwardly screamed.

The ninja nodded at each other, one walking towards her to investigate. She sunk deeper into the bush she was hiding in. The leaves rustled.

Oh snap! She inwardly screamed.

Again.

Something grabbed her wrist, and in a flash she was in Konohamaru's arms. He was carrying her bridal style.

Konohamaru expected her to be heavy, but nOOoOoO, she's light as fuck.

"K-Konohamaru-kun?!" She squeaked out, surprised. "Where's the princess?!"

He glanced down at her. "The princess is safe with Hanabi, Miyu, Udon and Moegi. They are far away from this area." He reassured her. "And I couldn't have let you die so soon, we hadn't got that date yet." He winked, causing her face to turn a bright-ass tomato red.

She looked over Konohamaru's shoulder, seeing they were being followed.

"Konohamaru-kun!" She cried. "We're being followed! You can put me down!"

He picked up his pace, slowing at a certain branch. He carefully placed Mirushi down, now turned towards the 2 stray ninja following them.

"Shadow-clone jutsu!" He yelled out.

4 clouds of smoke appeared beside him. 2 on the left and 2 on the right. He picked Mirushi up again, causing her to squeal.

"Let's go!" His clones yelled together, all attacking the other ninjas.

Mirushi stared up in amazement at her crush's face. Was he always this cool?!
