Mirushi found herself staring at the back of the princess' head, lost in a train of thought.

It was all random, thoughts jumping from one to another, nothing stayed. This is the type of thinking you'd do in the shower, or when you lay in bed.

Mirushi's eyes were flickering from red to blue, with all the emotion going on inside.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when something gripped her hand. She looked up and saw Konohamaru with his large blue orbs staring at her.

"Are you okay?" He asked, concerned.

"O-Of course!" Mirushi lied. She plastered a fake smile upon her blushing face.

She looked back down at her hand which was being held gently by Konohamaru. She bit her lip to hold back the squeal.

"Get down!" Saniko-sensei's voice yelled. Mirushi dropped to the ground, a large sword just barely missing her.

"What's happening?!" Hanabi yelled.

"It's an ambush! Protect the princess!" Ebisu-sensei told them.

"But, sensei! We're ninjas now! We should be fighting—" Moegi got cut off.

"That's an order!"

Mirushi could see the orange-haired girl grit her teeth together.

It was obvious she wanted to do more than just defend, but Mirushi couldn't read Moegi all that well.

Mirushi whipped out a Kunai, twirling it around her finger. She held it and readied her stance.

She knew that this was not your average sparring match, this is much worse.

Where your opponent won't hesitate to kill you.

Something with great force hit her into a tree. She coughed out blood.

Something grabbed her neck, pulling her up against the tree, strangling her. She kicked at the armored man but to no avail.

"Mirushi!" She heard Konohamaru yell.

Her small hands gripped the man's wrist, attempting to loosen the choke.

It was futile.

Her vision became disoriented.

She started desperately clawing at the man, but no effect was taken. She saw the figures of her team and Konohamaru's being attacked by ninja in similar attire to the man choking her.

"N-No..." She struggled out. "I won't let you..." She raised her foot, swinging it at his head, "hurt my teammates!" The man blocked the foot with ease, unknowingly loosening his grip. She twirled out of the choke and pushed him back.

She fell to the ground, coughing. She jumped back quickly once the man took a step forward.

She performed hand signs.

"Wind style: Tornado Torpedo Jutsu!" She cupped her hand around her mouth. The jutsu made little affect on the big man, only pushing him back slightly.

B-But that's my biggest move! Mirushi panicked, her attention was brought back to her struggling comrades facing off against 10 larger men.

She sprint at the man, jumping up and kicking his face, though he used both arms forming an 'X' to block it. She landed on his arms and jumped off above him, landing on the smallest man.

He fell down and Mirushi pulled the princess away, Ebisu-sensei and Saniko-sensei fighting off the rest.
