Chapter 1
Her hair blew in the wind, her eyes flickering down from the grass to the boy in the blue scarf. Like all other girls, Mirushi had a crush on Konohamaru, the cutest, smartest, nicest, bestest boy in the whole wide world!
Maybe she was exaggerating, but who cares?! It was pretty accurate.
The swing she sat on which was connected to the tree slightly moved a bit.
She stared at his back as he happily chatted with the other popular boys, and Moegi and Udon.
Mirushi smiled thoughtfully, daydreaming about him.
What if he like her too?!
No... She was practically invisible to him, other than all her flaws.
She heard laughter, snapping her out of the dreamy state she was in. In front of her were the popular girls, Hara, Jiro, and Miyu.
Hara was a girl with brown skin and wavy brown hair and glasses. She wore a pink jacket with a white laced hood over her white top with a very obvious neon pink bra underneath. She wore white shorts with pink lace at the bottom, for shoes she had specially made pink sandles.
Jiro had beautiful silky black hair tied into a flawless bun resting at the top of her head, two strands pulled out framing her tanned face perfectly, she always had gum in her mouth. She wore fishnet gloves, a black collared jacket with the sleeves rolled up, and a purple shirt under it. She then wore white Capri leggings and the classic sandles which were purple.
Miyu had nice blonde hair, no one really knew if it were straight or curly because she switches back and forth each day. It was straight right now, no hairstyle. She had glossed lips and pale skin. She had a light blue tank top and dark blue shorts, complimenting her eyes. She had knee high heeled sandles.
"Are you thinking about Konohamaru?" Jiro scoffed.
"I bet she is, well, she can only dream." Hara snorted.
Miyu smirked, resting her hand on her hip. "Just so you know, Konohamaru wouldn't like such a lowlife like you. Why would he? He shouldn't like anyone unless it's me."
She looked down, embarrassed.
"I'm sorry." She apologized.
"Um, what? Sorry, didn't hear you."
'Did I stutter?' Mirushi thought to herself, but she would never say it. She stayed quiet.
"Don't ignore me!" Miyu grabbed her hair and forced her to look up, slapping her across the face, careful not to mess up her nails. She dropped her hair and stared in disgust. Everyone was looking at them, now.
Miyu took a step back, snapping her fingers. "Hara." She spoke. Hara's brown hair shook as the girl responded with a nod.
Hara grabbed Mirushi's wrist as she pulled her up from the swing, punching her in the gut. Mirushi coughed and fell to the ground, legs giving up under her.
People surrounded them, watching intensely.
Another snap was heard from Miyu's manicured fingers. "Jiro."
Jiro walked towards the girl on the ground, kicking her harshly in the stomach. She coughed again. Snickers were heard from around.
Mirushi knew that Miyu was right. Konohamaru would never like such a lowlife like her. He'd like someone with class, beauty. Miyu has all that.
The 3 girls laughed at her. Mirushi shook in pain. The girls strut away from her, the people surrounding parting and leaving.
Mirushi's body shook with each sob that escaped her mouth. Her eyes welled up in tears, but nothing fell.
She slowly got up after the pain disappeared, meeting a pair of blue eyes that belonged to the Hokage's grandson. She looked away bashfully and continued walking towards the academy doors, moving towards the washroom.
Once there, she sat down on the toilet, closing the stall door. She rolled up her pants, slowly unwrapping the bandages around her knee. She dug her hand into her pocket, taking the new bandage wrap out, rewrapping the scrape on her knee from when Miyu, Jiro, and Hara pushed her onto the ground.
She exit the stall, looking into the mirror. She stared at her red eyes in the mirror.
"Freak..." She muttered at herself, slowly exiting the bathroom.
