Lazari's POV

(-In the Forest-)

We were already halfway through the forest, and Jeff finally killed someone. He stabbed them 5 times in the chest and then twice in the head. I looked at the gore and blood that poured out. God, that looked tasty, but I wish it didn't. 

"That's how you kill someone when they're not asleep!" Jeff explained. I looked at Soren. He didn't look disgusted or hungry. He just looked... confused? 

"Then how do you kill someone when they are asleep?" Soren asked. Oh, no wonder he looked confused. I turned to Jeff. He had that 'This child can't think, can he' look on his face. 

"I'll, uh, teach you that when it's nighttime, when everyone sleeps," Jeff said while getting up and letting Smile Dog eat it. Soren just looked disgusted. No gonna lie, I was too...

Soren's POV

I looked at the dog, as it just threw the rest of the body into a bush. I think Jeff called it 'Smile Dog'. Weird... We continued to walk through the forest, not having much luck at finding anyone. Smile Dog wandered off somewhere to find himself someone. I looked at the trees. Boring-

Wait... I looked in the trees again. There were people in there, very little though. They had guns though. They looked directly at me. Oh no. One pointed their gun at Jeff's arm. 

"JEFF, WATCH OUT!!!!!!!" I yelled at him. He turned and looked at me in confusion.

"What's wrong-" 

Gunfire

The bullet hit Jeff's arm. The bullet shot him so hard he hit the ground and became unconscious. Laz gasped and ran over to him. The three people jumped down from the trees and pointed their guns at me and Laz. I started trembling. 

"Grab them and knock them out, Boss will definitely want them," said the man who shot Jeff. I crawled towards Laz, hoping she would defend us. The one guy grabbed a needle and net, and the other walked towards us. Before he grabbed either of us, Laz quickly tackled him to the ground. Her eyes became redder and her became sharp. She bite into the guys neck multiple times, killing him. The guy with the needle and rope dropped his things and charged at Laz. 

"LAZ, WATCH OUT!" I yelled. She turned and tackled him. I turned to the other guy. He had a radio. Just then four other guys came to help. Oh no. Laz finished killing that other one, and immediately tackled the other guy. She managed to take out two of them at once and then made one guy shoot the other one. Then she made her hand into a black claw and clawed the last one, making him scream. Just before she jumped off him, the guy who shot Jeff, shot Laz with the needle. 

"OUCH!" She yelped as she became unconscious, and collapsed to the ground. She fell a few feet away from Jeff. I crawled towards her and pulled the needle out. Shaking her wasn't gonna wake her up. The guy grabbed another needle and loaded it into the gun. Wait, that man.... He took my mother. That's why he's here... He finished loading it and pointed the gun at me. I shook my head. No no no no... Please. He pulled the trigger and it hit me in the arm. I took it out but then I passed out....
