I sighed. I looked at my phone. I don't play on it much. I grabbed it and turned on my favorite song 'Scaredy Cat.' Elle said the song wasn't approiate for my age, but right now I didn't really care.

"Soren!" I heard Elle's voice say. I took my headphones out and looked at her.

"Are you listening to that song again!?" She snapped. Total mom attitude. 

"No," I lied and quickly turned off my phone. God, it's just a fucking song. Drama queen.

"Okay," She said and shut the door. I rolled my eyes and turned on the song again.

Laz's POV

I peeked through the door. Is he an emo now? Elle would lose it. Well, he was adorable while it lasted. Now he's a moody teenager. Sad. I walked back into Glitch's room and picked up Zalder. He cooed. Okay, adorable but you're not snuggling in my arms. You can do that to Slendy. I put him down by Glitch and ran to Elle's room.

"Hey Elle? Where's Slendy at?" I asked her. She shrugged. 

"He and Father have stuff to do and Zalder can't be in the way of that," She explained. Oh, no wonder why Zalder's in there WITHOUT SOMEONE WATCHING HIM- Oh wait Glitch is watching him. Nevermind. I walked away and took another look at Soren. Yeah he's becoming emo and that isn't okay. Oh God please bring us a miracle.

Soren's POV

I got up and walked to Glitch. I tapped on her shoulder and she turned around. 

"Yeah?" She said smiling. I sighed.

"Can we talk in private?" I asked. She looked at me and nodded.

....

"You think you're causing everyone to fall apart?" She said. I nodded. The expression on her face was concerned. 

"Well, let me tell you one thing, you're not why, but I didn't even notice..." She said. I looked at myself. I'm... not... why?

I tossed and turned. When should I go get Direna? I groaned. I check the time on my phone. Oh shit! 11:54 p.m. I got out of bed and jumped out of the window quietly. I crept away and ran through the trees as fast as I could. I almost tripped but I didn't care. I jumped over logs and rocks. I ran and then saw a river up ahead. I tried stopping in time but I couldn't. OH NO!

Huh? I looked up and a girl with purple hair and a white bunny mask caught me. She was... glitching? She put me down and looked at me.

"Soren Daniel Swann, son of Zalgo and Julie. Thirteen years old and a winged halfing, correct?" She said. I gawked at her. I nodded slowly. How did she know that?

"Yeah, t-that's me.. who are you? And how do you know me?" I asked backing up.

"Hey, don't back up. I won't attack you. I work for your father. My name's Eva White," She said. Eva? Wait, back the truck up. She works for Daddy?

"You work for Daddy?" I asked her. She nodded.

"Then how come I just met you now and not awhile ago?" I asked.

"I work for him secretly," She said." He knows you had a vision about what was gonna happen on December 20th so I came back and spied on your Grandpa for him," She explained. I gawked at her again. 

"So you know..."

"Where your going? Yeah, you're going to get Direna," She said. Oh no.

"Oh no, is he gonna betray me?" I asked. She shook her head.

"No he won't, but I'll take you, come on," She said. I took her hand and...

2 minutes later ( Exact Time: 11:59 p.m )

I gawked. But how?

"Y-You-'

"I'm a highly intelligent glitch, hon," She said watching them release Direna. Wait what- He looked at us and ran up to us.

"Hey Direna," Eva said. 

"Hey- Wait who are you?" He said. 

"Eva White, I work for your brother Zalgo," She said brushing off some dirt on the bottom of her shoes.

"Oh, does he?"

"Know your gonna help? Yeah, he's only giving you one chance and that's it," She said. He nodded. 

...

"Were here-" I said and then saw Daddy. Oh fuck-

"Oh uh, Hey?" I said. Jeff walked out beside him.

"Told you he ran away," Jeff said and walked back in.

"Sore-" He snapped and then Direna and Eva walked out.

"Hey sir, don't worry, I kept him out of trouble," Eva said smiling.

"Thank you... Soren and Eva , go inside, " Daddy said and look at Direna. Direna sighed and me and Eva walked in. Slendy was up and Zalder was sleeping in the recliner while Slendy was on the couch. 

Eva's POV

"Hey Slender," I said. He looked at me.

"Hey, Eva. How are you?" He said. I sat down on the couch.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking," I said smiling. Soren sat down. He was quiet.

"Don't worry... Sa won't let my hunger go out of control when I'm around Zalder now," Soren said smiling. Slender sighed in relief. I think I know who 'Sa' is. I sighed and my sense picked up something. 

Another glitch.

"Hey Slender, so you happen to have a glitch working for you?" I asked. He looked at me and then at the stairs.

"Uh, yeah, her name is Alex, but they prefer Glitch," He said.

"Pronouns?" I asked.

"She, they, and it," He said.

"Thank you," I said walking upstairs. I opened the door and saw two people sleeping, oops I mean four. There's two on the bed and floor. I looked and I saw her. Alex...

"Wonder what she can do," I said to myself, glitching beside her. I shook her and she woke. She looked at me in awe.

"Woah, are you my guardian angel?" She said.

"No, I'm Eva White, a... glitch," I said. She gawked at me.

"I'm not..."

"The only one? Yeah," I finished her sentence. 

"Wait, what are you doing here?"

"I'm a proxy of Zalgo's."
