In the middle of the morning...

In Klaus's bedroom, a shirtless Klaus, wearing a pair of lounge pants, and Christy, wearing Klaus's gray tank top, along with her undies, are asleep in his bed with the bedcover covering them.

Klaus's Nightmare

In St. Anne's Church, Klaus slowly walks in the aisle, wearing a suit. He glances at Christy's dead body laying on the altar.

Becoming worried, Klaus walks up to Christy and gently soothes her hair with his hand.

"Christy?" says Klaus, worriedly.

Mikael chuckles, menacingly. And Klaus turns around to look at him.

"Mikael." Klaus says.

Mikael grips Klaus's throat with his hand. "Niklaus." And stabs him in his stomach.

Klaus coughs up some blood from his mouth.

Frantically awakening from his nightmare, Klaus becomes frantically.

Christy wakes up and looks at Klaus and gently brushes his hair with her hand to calm him down. "Klaus? It's okay. It's just a nightmare."

Klaus looks at Christy and calms down. He gently leans his forehead on hers.

"I can take it away. The nightmare." Christy says to him.

"No, I'll be fine." Klaus says, reassuring her with a small smile.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

{Christy's Outfit}

The next morning, a funeral is being held for Kieran O'Connell, Camille's uncle. Like Camille's twin brother, Sean O'Connell, Kieran was hexed. And after he was turned into a vampire by Klaus, and with Camille's consent, Klaus mercy-killed Kieran.

"Elijah?" Christy says.

"Good morning, Christiana." Elijah says.

"Can we talk?" Christy asks him.

"Of course." Elijah says. He and Christy walks over to a lamp-pole. "What is it?"

"Klaus had a nightmare in the middle of the morning." Christy says.

"What was the nightmare?" Elijah asks Christy.

"Mikael." Christy says, glumly. "Klaus told me about him. I know Klaus is a very damaged broken complicated man with inner demons. But despite, all of his rage, his anger, paranoia, etc era, there is good in him, Elijah."

"Do you love Niklaus?" Elijah asks Christy.

"Yes." Christy says with a small smile. "And knowing Klaus, he'll probably say it when he's ready."

Elijah and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"What are you two chitchatting about?" Klaus asks, slowly walks up to them.

"Just some friendly chat, Niklaus." Elijah says, and walks away.

Klaus and Christy exchange soften looks at each other. She gently cups his face with her hands and kisses him, affectionately. Klaus kisses her back.

Klaus and Christy gently pulls away from the affectionate kiss. And exchange soften looks at each other.

"I love you, Niklaus." Christy says, which makes Klaus surprised. "You don't have to say it right now, but I just wanted you to know."

Klaus looks at Christy, surprised, by her profession of Love for him. She kisses his forehead and walks away from him.

Christy slowly walks up to Camille. "Hi, Cami. I'm really sorry about your uncle Kieran."

"Thank you, Christy." Camille says. "By the way, how have you been?"

"I've been pretty good myself." Christy says with a gentle smile. "But I just wanted to say my condolences."

"Thank you again, Christy." Camille says with a small smile.

Camille and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. Christy slowly walks away, and starts to feel woozy, and gently leans on a lamp pole.

Christy coughs up a little blood on her hand. And upon noticing Christy, Sophie looks at Klaus.

"Klaus?" Sophie says to Klaus.

Klaus follows Sophie's gaze at Christy and she collapses onto the sidewalk.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Klaus carries an unconscious Christy in his arms, bridal style, into the empty courtyard, and gently lays her down on the table.

"What happened?" Elijah asks, worriedly.

"I don't know, she was fine, and then, she just collapsed." Sophie says, and notices a little blood trickle from her left nose nostril.

"She's trembling." Klaus says, and pulls off his tuxedo jacket and covers her with it.

"I can do a spell. But I'm gonna need some chamomile from the pantry." Sophie says.

Christy's Subconscious

In a blue hue, Christy awakens and slowly sits up straight on the table and gently leaps off the table. She looks around. And notices someone in the darkness of the shadows.

"Who's there? Who are you?" Christy asks.

Mikael slowly walks out from the darkness. "I'm suppose, I'm family."

Christy looks at him, upon figuring out who he is. "Mikael. You're the pathetic asshole who ruined my boyfriend, Klaus."

"Boyfriend? Ha! So, the bastard, Niklaus, has found someone to love him. You are a fool." says Mikael.

"I think you're just an angry man who took his frustration out on Klaus. He didn't deserve the pain you inflicted on him. What father would harm his son?" Christy says.

"He is not my son! He's a scourge! A walking symbol of weakness! An abomination. And you defend him." Mikael says.

"At least, Klaus has something you never gave him: Unconditional Love." Christy says, and makes her eyes glow blue.

Mikael lunges at Christy and she slings a blue orb at him.

Back in the reality...

Christy is laying on the table, unconscious. Sophie has put 4 candles at the table ends. And is chanting a spell.

"She's not waking up." Klaus says, losing his patience. And picks up a chair and slings it at a wall. "I cannot lose Christy."

"You won't lose her." Elijah says to Klaus.

Elijah gently puts his hand on Klaus's shoulder, reassuring him. Klaus looks at Elijah, glumly.

In a thousand years, Klaus has never been in love with anyone. He's always his typical self. But then, he met Christy, sure, his intentions weren't pure, but his mischievous scheme changed as it became acquainted with her. And he found himself slowly falling in love with Christy.

Meanwhile in Christy's Subconscious...

Mikael and Christy are fighting each other. He vamp-speeds behind her in a headlock.

"Niklaus doesn't know what Love is. Nor does he deserve it!" Mikael says.

"Klaus does deserve Love. And you're nothing but the negative in his complicated life!" Christy says, and elbows Mikael in his stomach.

Mikael stumbles away from Christy, who makes a makeshift stake and stabs him in his stomach.

Mikael groans.

Reality

Christy gasps awake and slowly sits up straight. Klaus and Elijah looks at her, worriedly.

"Christy, are you alright?" Elijah asks her.

"Yeah. I think so, but I'm fine." Christy says. "I saw him. I saw Mikael."

Klaus and Elijah exchange worried looks at each other.

That night, in Klaus's bedroom window, Christy is looking out of the window, at the funeral parade for Kieran.

Klaus slowly walks inside. "Christy?"

Christy looks at Klaus. "I'm okay."

"You scared the hell out of me." Klaus says, glumly, and slowly walks up to her. "The thing is, I've never been frightened of anything, but I thought I was gonna lose you."

"Klaus?" Christy says.

"I love you, Christiana." Klaus says.

"Klaus?" Christy says, and gently cups his face with her hands. "You don't have to say "I Love You" out of fear."

"I'm not saying it out of fear, Christy. I love you. You said to say it when I was ready, but I'm saying it now, I love you, Christy." Klaus says to her.

"I love you too, Klaus." Christy says.

Klaus and Christy exchange soft looks at each other. And they kiss each other, affectionately.
