4 DAYS LATER

SOPHIE  POV 
"Come on down, Sophie."  Dad and Duke yelled from downstairs at 4 in the morning as we had a flight of 8 hours at 6. 

 For Nathan, I just decided it ended for good and also had a movie marathon with Dad and Duke with loads of junk food. 

I tied my hair in a ponytail and headed downstairs with a small bag that had small things such as a brush, toothpaste, and all those things. I headed downstairs they were both standing there with sleep evident on their faces. They didn't sleep last night as they were freaking out about this but by their faces, I knew they were regretting it. 

We got in the car. Dad was driving. Duke was in the passenger seat. I was on the backside. The radio was off as they were sleepy.

 In 30 mins, we arrived at the airport. Dad parked the car. We headed inside. We waited for an hour more then the boarding started. We boarded the plane after going through security. Soon, the plane started taking off. 

Both of them were calm. 

"How are you both calm?" I asked them. They both laughed. 

"We've done this a couple of times before so we're calm and it's going to be alright," Dad said.   I squeezed his hand as the plane soared into the air. 6 hrs into the flight they were asleep. 

I was listening to songs on Dad's phone as my phone was dead. 

Suddenly I hear Mom's voice 1, 2, 3. 

"Working, Sarah" Dad says. They all began playing it was a song I had never heard. When it ended, there was a commotion on the plane. Because of that, Dad and Duke got up and that made me remove my headphones. 

"We are experiencing high turbulence, passengers may remain seated and if there's any medical personnel please be ready for any emergencies." The pilot's voice said. That scared me cause I had never been on a plane before and now had high turbulence. The plane was shaking.

"Sophie, calm down it's going to be alright . It's just mild." He said. 

"It's high the captain said that." I said. 

Suddenly, there was a person who just fell. 

"Anyone near that person don't move if you can see if they are conscious." Dad said. 

"He's not. I am his sister." A woman said. 

"Alright, just calm down he'll be fine. I'll get him up as soon as the turbulence is low." Dad said. 

"Dad, will that man be okay?" I asked. 

"I don't know, but let's just hope he will be." He said. 

Soon the shaking stopped. Dad and Duke just whispered things to me trying to calm me down.

Dad walked there to the man.

ASHTON POV

"What's your brothers name and yours? I asked the woman.

"He's Jeff and I am Rachel." Rachel said.

"Alright, Rachel I am just going to try to wake him up and I have a friend Duke who's going to help me."  I said and Duke joined me.

"Let's get him to another part of the plane so he can have some air." Duke said.

We got him to another part in which there weren't many people, there were beds all around. We laid him down on one of those.

I started slapping him gently, he had a gash on his head, pretty deep. He would need stitches.

He woke up, we explained everything to him.  I asked the air hostess to get me the first aid kit.  I knew there would be no numbing medicine but I knew I had to stitch this up as we still had a long flight ahead of us and I wasn't leaving that open. As the woman got the kit, I opened it and no surprise no medicine to numb him. Duke held his head straight as I did the stitches. When we were done, Duke told them how to take care of them and we were sitting in our seats. 

 I put headphones on both of them and played the song. They started singing along and knew it by heart. 

"How did you three make this?" I asked. 

"It was first year in med school we were having trouble learning some big names so we converted them into a song. We all singing, me on the guitar and duke on the drums. Then we all listened to this song a 100 times to memorize them." Dad chuckled as he said. 

"It must have been fun". I said.

"Yeah it was since then, music was our way to learn anything. We sometimes recorded songs for fun remember. " Duke said. 

"Oh yeah, where are they?" Dad asked. 

"Stored in a pen drive that's at home." . Said duke. 

"Alright." Dad said. 

 I did not know when i dozed off. I wake up 3 hours later to the pilots announcement that the plane is landing. 

"Morning!" Dad says full of energy. 

"Morning". I say. 

Soon, we land. We get out of the plane and stretch. We get our bags. Suddenly, a man approaches us. 

"Hey, are you Dr. Walker and Dr. William( Duke's last name)?" The man asked. 

"Yeah".  They both say at the same time. 

"I am Denny stevens, nice to meet you". He extends a hand. 

"Nice to meet you too. "They both say and shake his hand. 

"I will be taking you to the ship." Denny said and we followed him. In 30 mins, we arrived at the dock where the ship was tied to. 

"This is big, like really big."  I say. 

"Yep". They both say.  We got out of the car. 

"I will leave you here now , enjoy your stay." Denny says. 

"Sure". They say at the same time. 

Then , Denny leaves. We get our bags and get into the ship. It was even bigger from inside. Then we check in, get the keys, two rooms, one for me and dad and one for duke. 

There were a lot of people there and there was not even one we knew except each other. I got into the rooms. It was big, two single beds. It was like a normal room. I grabbed my and dad's bags and set it in the corner. Dad would be coming later as he met someone it was a work conference  so I expected that.
