Immediately, the bell rang around 5:30am as Sophie's legs touched the ground she said "Thank you," she had learnt the attitude of being grateful even for the smallest thing.

She smiled to herself when she fingered the bracelet Francis bought for her on her thirteenth birthday with the word "Forever" engraved in it, she said thank you again.

She stood up went to the bathroom, had her bath and dressed up, went downstairs to the refectory and sat down to eat her fruit salad. Immediately, her roommates entered the refectory, Kim came to her said "hi" and sat next to her to eat.

"Kim, I'm going home today, could you cover up for me in class today?" Sophie asked Kim as she drank her orange juice.

"No problem, just bring something back for me,okay?" Kim said smiling.

"Did I hear food?" Amy one of Kim's roommate asked.

"Yes, Amy you did.I was just telling Sophie to bring back things for me when coming back," Kim said.

"Where to?" Amy asked.

"Home," she said.

"Can I follow you, I was just planning on going home," Amy asked looking expectantly at Sophie.

"Yeah, you could," Sophie said standing up.

"When are you leaving?" Amy asked Sophie.

"Twelve dot," she said and left.

At home.

As Sophie reached home, her sister and cousins ran towards her welcoming her and requesting for what she brought for them.

"Amanda,how are you?" Sophie asked her little sister when embraced by her.

"I'm fine,sis. What did you bring for me?" she asked beaming with smiles.

"Well won't I sit down first?" Sophie asked laughing as she looked admiringly at her sister who she called Mandy.

She couldn't believe her sister had grown so big since the past few years.

Mandy is a girl of twelve years with a fair complexion with bright black eyes and straight pointed nose with chocolate hair and red slender lips. Mandy is as bright as a lark, always happy and as cunning as a fox and hairy as a gorilla when silly she is as silly as a sheep.

"Let me get you something to eat," Mandy said as she ran as fast as a hare to the kitchen.

Sophie went to her room which she called her little haven, pictures of her favorite musicians were posted on the wall, funny and beautiful memories of the places she and Francis had gone to was also on the wall.

Francis was the guy Sophie Lyon felt most safe with which was unlike her, she always put her guard up around guys, she didn't want them to see her weakness. She was snapped out of her state of reverie by the persistent knocking on her door.

"Food is ready," Mandy said opening the door.

"Okay, thanks," she said.

She went to the dining table and prayed, when she opened her eyes and looked up, she saw her sister and cousins staring expectantly at her.

"What?" Sophie asked smiling.

"Our things," they replied in unison.

"After eating," Sophie said.

Sighing they sat down talking among themselves.

"Where is Mamy?" Sophie asked no one in particular.

"Mamy went out," Mandy answered looking up from her phone.

Mamy was the name Sophie and her sister called their aunt who took care of them, for them she was their second mother.

"I'm done with the food, thanks," she said standing up and calling Mandy to come and take the things she brought for them.

In Sophie's room she undressed and wore big top and bum short and layed on the bed, immediately she drifted off to sleep.

She was woken up by the persistent ringing of her phone, she looked at it and found out it was Francis calling, she quickly picked it up.

"Hey," Sophie answered.

"Hi, what's up," Francis asked from the other side of the line.

"I'm fine and you?" she asked.

"Cool, you okay?" Francis asked getting worried.

"Yeah, just woke up from sleep," she said adjusting herself well on the bed.

"Sorry, I just wanted to say hi,see you later," he said.

"Okay, bye."

As the line clicked she smiled and remembered the things he went through before they actually became friends.

He is a good tall slim guy, with a strong will and bright black eyes with chocolate complexion and a heart break warming smile with a great sense of humor.

It was his sense of humor that got her attention and made her admire him with his strong will, it was his strong will to be friends with her that made her start liking him but it wasn't easy for him, she didn't let him know that she had started falling for him.

She heard Mamy's voice so she knew Mamy was back. With immediate effect Sophie ran outside.

"Mamy, Mamy," she shouted jumping on her and pecking her.

"God, have mercy, do you want me to die, see how you startled me," Mamy said laughing.

"I'm sorry Mamy, I'm just happy to see you," she said smiling.

"Bless me, I'm also so happy to see you. Have you eaten?" she asked going into the kitchen.

"Yes ma, thank you," she said opening the refrigerator.

"When are you going back?" she asked coming out of the kitchen.

"Next tomorrow," she said bringing out snacks and fruits from the fridge.

"Alright," Mamy said entering her room.

"I'm going to be in my room, if you need me," she said blending the fruits to make smoothie.

Mamy is an average height woman around her late forties with a fine set of teeth which complimented her full eyes and straight nose. She is chocolate in complexion, she is a great cook and a wonderful travel agent who owns her business, she is as brave as a lion, strong as an ox and devoted to them as a mother.

Sophie entered the room, kept the drink and snacks on a side stool and picked up a novel named  "Violent Dove" and put her phone in airplane mode and started reading, after reading she slept off.

When Sophie woke up, she went to the parlour and took up a film she always wanted to watch, it was a Korean edition titled Legend of the Blue Sea. She was watching it when Mandy entered grumbling.

"What is it?" Sophie asked turning to look at her.

"I don't like this film, change it," Mandy replied rudely.

"You have not even watched it and you are complaining. It is interesting," Sophie said.

Mandy grumbling sat down to watch.

Sophie looked at her sister and smiled.

'She's gonna love the film and fall in love with you the actor. I just know this girl.'

"That boy is fine," Mandy said admiring a Korean actor.

"Yes, he's name is Heo Jun Jae in the film but his real name is Lee Min-Ho," Sophie said being proud of knowing their names.

"I like the film, is their season 5 here?" Mandy asked checking the film rack.

"Nope, I'm not with it," Sophie said while standing up to go to her room.
