118 ❆ "The OneeOnia and Phoenix Prophecy."

"The Phoenix and OneeOnia are natural enemies to all witch, and warlock, kind. They were made to be that way," Dion explained as they all sat down at his dining table, where he was at the head of it.

He had extended the table using a bit of magic, so now 6 of them were on the left side, 6 on the right, and him and Soyeon at the two ends of the table talking. After it was revealed to Dion that the OneeOnia and Phoenix were standing in his living room, he decided to take a breather and cooked dinner, since he assumed they were all hungry.

Which they were.

So as they finished up their food, he began talking about witches and the Phoenix and Onee history a bit.

"Hoseok, the Phoenix is awake, right?" he inquired, Hoseok nodding, "Yoongi, the Onee is still dormant?" Yoongi nodded as he looked at the warlock, his hand holding Hoseoks.

Dion nodded as well, looking back at Hoseok, "Have you felt uncomfortable being around witches and such for the past two days?"

"Y-yeah, how'd you know?" Hoseok questioned with furrowed eyebrows, the thought that this witch may be reading his mind crossing his brain for a second. Which caused him to think of the random-est to see if Dion's expression changed or faltered.

It didn't.

"Because the Phoenix and OneeOnia aren't fond of witches. Since the OneeOnia is dormant, Yoongi doesn't feel anything strange about being around me, or Soyeon, but since the Phoenix is awake inside of you, it wants to break out, more or less control you, and kill me or Soyeon probably." Dion's eyebrows raised a bit towards the ceiling before he just sighed and gave them all a small smile while drinking, what they all obviously knew, was alcohol.

Dion was like Soyeon, meaning he aged slowly since one of his parents was Immortal, and he was a black magik wielding warlock. Who, in fact, still practiced it without the authorities of Caroban knowing.

Jimin was the next to ask something, "Why do the Phoenix and Onee hate witches and warlocks so much?"

Dion sighed, running his hands through his hair, "Over 1000 years ago witches and warlocks lived with the OneeOnia and Phoenix's-"

"There were multiple?"

Dion nodded, tsking afterward, "There were hundreds..."

THE ONEEONIA AND PHOENIX PROPHECY
800 P.E
(P.E = Post Elemental)

Flying around freely, without any care in the world, the Onee dragon soared above the villagers that lived around their home, the witches and warlocks. It's teal eyes watched as they did whatever humans did on a regular basis, some of the children playing, the men lugging wood for fires, and the women giggling among themselves as they watched some of the men come into the village from the nearby woods.

The Phoenix stood atop a mountain, watching the villagers with the same intensity the Onee was. The Phoenix’s home was beyond the mountain, where hundreds of baby phoenix's flew around and cawed happily, while their mothers watched them with the Phoenix version of a smile. Their fiery wings pushing them up into the sky, another place they’d call home.

The Phoenix was a fire bird in all its glory, especially when it wanted to show all its power; where it had the ability to blast fire out of it’s mouth or simply skin their body and create a tornado of the destructive element. It could change size, be as big as a building or as small as a tiny home. The Phoenix had the ability to become a solid black bird, where, whenever it flapped its wings, fire would emit around it. Though it tended to stick to it’s firebird self more often than not.

The Onee home was within the cold, snowy, mountain, where mothers were nursing their eggs until they'd soon hatch into huge, beautiful, white scaled dragons. The Onee called the entire land within and around most of the mountain it’s own.

The Onee is a frost dragon, where to display power it could breathe and wield ice/water/frost/snow, and anything that had to do with the liquid element that is water. Onee’s are rather large dragons, they were mostly white, their skin sparkled like snow under the sun’s light. It had wide wings that shone like ice when the sun hit them directly. Their wings had blue, almost raindrop like, parts coming off the sharp points of their wings. Their tail was long and strong, blue scales on the ends of it and a frosty blue layer covering the bottom half of it.

The Onee roared at the Phoenix which sat camly atop the mountain the Onee claimed as home, in a threatening manner, a manner that coveyed the message Get the Fuck Off.

The Phoenix shrieked back, it’s wings expanding in a clear message that said I’m not going anywhere.

It led to the two fighting, the villagers' heads turning and eyes focusing on the sight of their dangerous neighbors having a skirmish. Their ears listened to the shrieks and roars, eyes watched the flashes of blood and flames, as they silently rooted for one of the creatures.

The flames of the Phoenix’s wings burned a part of the Onee, but the creature only shot back with it's frosty bite, which caused the Phoenix to scream even louder and cause a tremor to run through the earth the villagers were standing on. Eventually, they stopped when the Phoenix finally flew away to it's home, the Onee roaring to display it's dominant nature as it sat where the Phoenix once was.

The villagers were surprised the two creatures didn't kill each other in the process of the fighting, but the Onee and Phoenix were intelligent despite their aggressive natures.

They both understood that if the other didn't exist, their world would be utter chaos, because the Phoenix and Onee were each other's balances. Fire and Frost.

Though that didn't mean if the other got out of hand, they wouldn't kill them.

The universe created balances because it didn’t want one creature to over-power others, they needed to be equal, everything had something that could kill it. Even if it was something it didn’t expect.

As the villagers watched the Onee go back into its home, it's large wings expanded and drew in against its body as it swooped into an opening in the mountain, one of them muttered, "They're going to kill us one day!" there was an angry undertone in his voice.

A young girl, who didn’t look no more than six, looked up at the warlock that uttered the words and asked, "Why do you think that?"

"Everyday they fly closer and closer to our home in a threatening manner, Aesthete doesn't need these creatures!" he now yelled, attracting the attention of others around them, their eyes focusing on his angered expression.

The young girl’s eyes only widened, her hair completely black as her deep blue eyes looked at him, "and what do you suggest we do about it, Papa?"

He looked down at his youngest daughter, a smirk crossing his face. He picked her up, causing her to giggle in his hold as he kissed her cheek, “Papa’s going to kill them all, Jiwoo sweets.”

Those words started the war between the Onee Dragon, the Phoenix, and the witch/warlock community. Rendon, Jiwoo and Somin’s father, convinced them all that eventually those monsters would attack and it’d be best if they attacked now and first.

With their magik helping them, their power guiding them, they killed over half of the Phoenix and Onee population, dwindling it down from hundreds of creatures, to merely 20, to then two.

A female Onee Dragon.

A male Phoenix.

Who both were immune to the control of blood magik.

Witches were more powerful than the creatures expected, and anticipated, with their blood magik they could control the Phoenix and Onee, sometimes turning the two creatures against each other so it’d make it easier, since they’d kill one another instead of focusing on killing their common enemy. It devastated the population, and some of the creatures died from the heartbreak of losing their young.

Though, it made the Phoenix and Onee allies and their new balance the witches/warlocks. Their new enemy being the humans who started this all.

"We can't kill them," Adora stated with venom in her tone, glaring at her son who thought otherwise, "without our balance we will be nothing and fall into our own chaos, you know that."

Rendon rolled his eyes, moving his hair out of his face, which now had multiple white streaks in it, from him killing the witches/warlocks that opposed his plans, "What do you suggest we do then, mother? Our enemy is gone! Might as well kill them off too!" a group of witches and warlocks yelled in agreement, some even throwing something at the elder witch.

Adora shut them up by making their mouths close, her fist clenched as she glared, "We should put them into Sun Souls, then, the two creatures will be inside of humans and don't ever have to interact. We can make it so their vessels have to be killed, and brought back to activate the Phoenix and Onee inside of them." she suggested, since she knew Rendon wouldn’t listen to just letting them free.

Others stirred, all of them contemplating it as they looked at Rendon, who was even considering it himself.

"What if the vessels have the same power the Onee and Phoenix did?" someone shouted, Adora shrugging as she looked at the person.

"We took them down in their bird and dragon form, what makes you think we couldn't if they're human?" Everyone cheered at those words, happy with the prospect. Adora felt like she just went against everything she believed in by speaking those words out loud.

She couldn’t stop her son when he killed more than half of the Phoenix and Onee population, but maybe she could give future generations of witches hope in case another person like her son manifested.

"I disagree," another witch stated, standing in the crowd of people and walking over to Adora and Rendon, "if they are our balance now, they need more than just that." her voice was strong and her expression was serious.

"Elaine what are you suggesting now?" Rendon asked with a raised eyebrow, his two daughters, Somin and Jiwoo, standing on either side of the makeshift throne he created.

Elaine pursed her lips, moving her long, black, hair out of her face, "We give them sages, Whisp sages, with this they have protectors, we can't be invincible or we will have consequences. These sages will stick with the vessels in an almost protective manner. The flame will be a Phoenix flame, the water will be Onee."

Rendon shook his head, scowling with his hands clenching the arm rests, "We're creating our own enemies."

Elaine glared at him, "We wouldn't have too if it wasn't for you."

Rendon lunged towards the witch, who used her blood magik to control the blood in Rendon’s body. She made the man writhe, unable to control his magik or anything for that matter. Elaine's eyes were completely white, her eyes boring into Rendon, "Don't start with me, Rendon, you either do this or I feed you to the Phoenix and Onee myself."

Rendon’s jaw clenched, he just nodded, moving away from Elaine after she relented her hold on the man.

~~~
Something had gone wrong the day they decided to put the Onee and Phoenix into a pair of sun souls.
Instead, they made them shadow soulmates, where eye contact will make the two connect instantly and feel drawn to each other no matter what.
Onia was the poor girl who had the Onee Dragon placed inside of her, hence why they call it the OneeOnia now; since the Onee showed through her easily. Onia's hair turned white and eyes became an icy-white color as well. She was the first ever frost elemental and one half of the first ever elemental shadow soulmates.
Fera was the female they put Phoenix into, to keep Onia and her from procreating with one another even though sun souls feel no romantic attraction. Her hair turned orange and became longer, her eyes showed a fiery orange-ish red and her personality shifted to a more aggressive natured one. Just like the Phoenix.
The two girls were already Sun Souls, both of them possessing no witch powers, which made them perfect, but while they were placing the Onee and Phoenix in the two girls, a sudden eclipse formed, Onia and Fera's shadows matching under the light it created; which made the Onee and Phoenix shadow soulmates along with their vessels. Before anyone could take it back, it was already done.
It had been too late to reverse it.
The first ever frost and fire elementals were created.
Onia and Fera did procreate, the witches broke their bond as shadow soulmates, and eventually more and more frost and fire elementals appeared. Creating Aesthete, the country of elementals.
It would have been smarter for the witches to keep them shadow soulmates, since they wouldn’t want to be with anyone else, but at the time they didn’t think that way and just feared the idea of the Onee and Phoenix being shadow soulmates in the first place.
The Phoenix and Onee pass through all fire and frost elementals when they’re first born, BUT they only STAY in fire and frost shadow soulmates because if that vessel dies and is resurrected they can be awakened. It’s how the witches made it.
If the vessel dies naturally without the Onee or Phoenix being awakened inside of them, both creatures just go into the next set of fire and frost shadow soulmates. If one is awakened, for example the Phoenix, it will eventually die if it’s balance, the OneeOnia, isn’t and the cycle will just start over until both are awakened at the same time.
Which would make both vessels immortal since the Onee and Phoenix are awake in them at the same time and are bonded.
Eventually a goddess named Toph, an extremely powerful earth goddess, made themselves human and created the first ever Earth elemental. Her hair became brown and eyes a viney green, she was the one that gave Earth elementals the abilities they have now.
A wind god named Zephyr made himself human as well, creating the first wind elemental. His hair became silver, eyes a cloudy white, and he could wield wind easily.
The only reason these gods quit being gods and became human, is because a witch reached out to them and convinced them to do it for the greater good. They had agreed.
No one ever found out who that witch was.
Though after that, elementals were created, and once there were enough, they drove witches and warlocks into hiding. Without even knowing the history between them.
Rendon was right when he said they created their own enemies.
"Is there anyway Wind and Earth elementals could call on the gods?" Jimin asked once Dion was done telling the history of the Phoenix and Onee, the history of all elemental kind basically.
They couldn't believe it was Jiwoo and Somin's father that had to do with the almost extinction of Phoenix and Onee kind.
Now they understood where Jiwoo got it from.
Dion nodded with a small smile on his face, "The gods pass through all wind and earth elementals like the Onee and Phoenix do, though unlike fire and frost all wind and earth elementals have the essence of the gods inside of them. Though only a pair of sun souls that wield the two elements can call upon their power and use it at their will."
Jimin and Taehyung gawked at each other after he said it.
"How do you know so much about this?" NamJoon asked Dion, completely awestruck by his knowledge.
Dion chuckled, leaning back in his seat while holding his glass of red wine, "Let's just say I do a lot of reading."
