Chapter Thirty-Three
Monday, four days before the inevitable...
The daily grind was back in action as students and teachers of GVA were hyped up after the successful inaugural swim meet held last Thursday. And Ja'Marco was the epicenter of attention as his male classmates continued to cheer him on for his victory at the diving boards.
"Bro, you're going to be an Olympian before you even know it! And with you attending our school, you're bound to open a lot of doors."
"Keep up the good work, Mr. Hedare. Last Thursday was just the beginning of you finally embracing the Triton Mystique and the Nexus. Continue to let us work with you and you'll soon reap the benefits of what's to come."
"I bet those other group of haters from California can't even get used to seeing you finally breaking down those walls! They only want you to follow their rules to keep you from reaching for the stars. With us around, you can definitely learn to let go and be more."
One should kow that Ja'Marco wasn't much for getting a swelled head thanks to his upbringing by his late grandparents Jonah and Lizzadene Mae. But he did allow himself to accept the thanks.
The school day as halfway finished as Ja'Marco was in study hall reading the book that Kristen gave to him, hoping that he could finally learn something about this place that could attract and repel people all at once.
Glenview Valley was founded in January 1st, 1701 by Eduard Allendam and his family. Joining him were the families of Samuel Callaway, Alfred Devens, Hamilton Fairfield, and Franklin Quitman- all of them descendants of the legendary Mayflower crossing.
The families soon began to main foundation of the town after years of prejudice and accusations of witchcraft that stemmed from the Salem Witch Trials in 1692 and also coming from Andover, Massachusetts. They seek to find release and freedom to practice their beliefs of free-thinking and family togetherness while living within the beliefs of the Bible and the Quaker lifestyle.
Soon, more families such as the Beckworths, the Freemans, and even the Gaumonts soon arrived with more residents seeking shelter from the rising wars from the Tories and the British. Even during the time of the American Revolutionary War, the town of Glenview Valley continued to flourish as many seek to gain relief from the ongoing taxes. After the state of Rhode Island was formally made official and part of the colonies, Glenview Valley became a prominent town where people can begin to be open and help fight against anyone who wanted to tear down the peace that they sought to keep within the towns.
Sounds like basic stuff to me, Ja'Marco thought to himself as he closed the book and put it in his backpack. But I'm hoping to learn why this town consists of so many male models who are gay for each other.
"Ja'Marco!" came the cheery voice of Martin as he, Joseph, and Reichen soon arrived in the library.
Said teen pasted a smile. "Hey yourself," he greeted, granting the young man and his friends with hugs and cut-ups. "What brings you all by?"
"We heard that this weekend is going to be when you learn the whole story of why you came here and the birthright that you'll soon to claim," Joseph piped up. "And your mom said that there's going to be a lot of guests, including ourselves and most of the students here. I bet you're itching to find out for yourself."
Oh, you have no idea, Ja'Marco thought. "I'm just biding my time and not wanting to ruin the surprise," he said. "I mean, curiosity does kill the cat and satisfaction doesn't always bring him back."
"True, but you gotta admit that you want to know what stake you're about to claim, right?" Reichen rebutted. "Besides, you're from one of the founding families here in this town that holds a legacy like none other. And since you're attending school with all of us, you can bet your bottom dollar that you're going to rule the rest with all of us by your side...as fellow brothers AND lovers."
Joseph and Martin snickered.
Ja'Marco felt like he wanted to slap the taste out of their mouths. Instead, he opted to go with, "I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens this weekend. For now, I'll have to find some other way to keep myself occupied."
Martin smirked just as the bell rang. "Believe us, bro. This weekend is when you're going to love what's in store for you as well as myself and Joseph since we crossed over. Come this Saturday, you're going to be ready for what's ahead."
"I'm sure I will." Ja'Marco grabbed his backpack before standing to his feet. "I do believe that we have class, you guys. Shall we go?"
"We shall," Joseph purred, his Spanish accent distinctive.

Later that afternoon, at the Headmaster's Quarters...
"You've been with us for quite some time, Ja'Marco," Frederich noted as he and his nephew were currently sitting down to tea in the cozy living room of the older man's residence after the latter had an exhausting swim practice with the guys. "And after this past week with your debut at the diving board with Bundchen, I believe that you're finally starting to embrace the brotherhood quite well."
Ja'Marco nodded, taking a sip of his cup of English tea before sitting the cup down. "It's been chaotic keeping up with my schedule and all that, but I'm going to start putting in the work," he replied. "And even though I still have questions about everything- including why was I meant to come here in the first place, I know that some questions take longer to be answered. So I'm telling myself to be patient and...well, learn to get with the times."
"And that's a good thing to tell yourself, Ja'Marco." Frederich sat up in his seat. "Now, your mother and her family have arranged a lot of things regarding to this coming weekend and you'll be under the company with Reichen and his friends until Saturday afternoon. That's when you'll be enjoying brunch with everyone- including the other families and the young men at school- before we're venturing out to the beach for a special beachside barbeque. And that night is when you'll know everything that you've wanted to know."
Ja'Marco could only nod, already knowing that he heard the same thing from his mother. "I'll look forward to it," he commented.
"Excellent," Frederich purred. "I think that you're going to be epitome of what a Glenview Valley Academy man should be, my nephew: charisma, youth, stamina, endurance, sensuality, masculinity. A perfect concoction of what defines the typical Glenview Valley male. Sure, you were a late bloomer after being stunted from too much pessimism from your peers back in California, but look at you now. You're coming along in your growing pains and you're among your fellow brothers in arms."
Ja'Marco was soon pulled to his feet, him suddenly within inches from his uncle's lips. "I...I can only say thanks," he said demurely, lowering his eyes.
"No need to feel that you gotta hide yourself, Jay," Frederich said seductively before taking Ja'Marco to his private bedroom. "I'm only stating the truth. You're among a brotherhood of sensual being that want to be truly thriving and being a part of a better community that can make the world a better place yet known to be sensually wicked at times. No one, not even the agnostics or the naysayers, can ever decode what we can do together."
He lowered his lips onto his nephew's for a gentle yet passionate kiss, one that sensed of fervent longing and liquid fire. Ja'Marco opened his mouth a bit, inviting the older man to deepen the kiss briefly before they broke away. "Frederich," the teen breathed.
Said older man placed his index finger on his nephew's lips. "You'll be staying with me tonight," he said. "And the things that you and I will do together...oh, Ja'Marco. How you and I will have so much fun together."
Nothing else was said as the two of them started undressing each other until they were naked in bed and lost themselves in the sea of passions. And unfortunately, gentle reader, this writer cannot even allow himself to dare describe what's been done between them.
The cat-and-mouse games are in play, fine friends! And something tells me that Ja'Marco's going to need all the sensuality moves he could pull off in order to get through the week so he'll learn the whole story.
Coming up next, it's back to the Rebels as Ro'Niah, La'Vanna, Kimani, and Chanel read more from S.G's private journal and aren't happy when the entries are at an end. Stay tuned!
