We first met, many wintry nights ago;
no more than mere but good acquaintances
who shared a passion for the piano.
We bonded over our favorite pieces.

From there, we bonded over many more—
from books and shows and musical likings
to poems, memes, and interests galore.
It's as if we have taken a liking—

Are we falling in love with each other?
He is for sure, while I am less certain.
Whatever we feel, may our bond prosper
and not let anything have it broken.

My lover or not, matters not to me;
