Previously on Sonic UA...

Our heroes had all tore through Grand Metropolis and liberated from Eggman's hold.

Though there was the detour of two clashes between teams and a brief fight between the S.O.S and the mystery knight, everyone is back on track to trying to find Eggman.

Clock is ticking on whether or not anyone can find and stop him......before he unleashes the ultimate weapon on the world.

Sally is currently laying back in a beach chair under an umbrella, relaxing at a peaceful destination that her family recommended for her brief vacation before she has to come back and be coronated as Queen of the Kingdom of Acorn.

"Sally, are you alright?" Nicole asks as she pops up from a spare handheld she brought with her since the original is being carried by Fiona on a mission. "Your nerve readings and body language suggests you feel uncomfortable despite being on vacation."

Sally turns to her and asks her. "Do you ever get the feeling that we're being watched?"

Nicole looks at her confused. "I'm afraid I can't understand the specific meaning. Aren't you currently under protection and have me watching you too?"

Sally turns to look at the sky, in thought some as she answers her. "I mean as if something beyond your understanding or comprehension is watching you and plans to do something to you....something or someone so shocking once revealed....that it would shake everything around me."

"I believe you must be feeling the combined weight of becoming queen soon and the stress of the conflict from the past years." Nicole gives a small smile trying to reassure her. "Sonic and the others have the situation under control and are close to catching Eggman. Soon in a few days, it will finally be over and everyone can return to a normal life. Just relax and enjoy the moment."

Sally breathes in and out in a deep breath before smiling and nodding. "I guess you're right...the stress has been a lot for me. Thanks you Nicole."

"My pleasure, Sally. See you back at the kingdom." Nicole says with a quick bow before disappearing.

Little does Sally know.....she was being watched from a distance.

The mystery knight was on a high hill several miles away viewing Sally with the visor in his helmet.

Eggman contacts him via headset inside the helmet. "Mecha Knight, what is the status of your reconnaissance?"

"The princess is casually enjoying her vacation." The knight answers him plainly. "While her perimeters are being guarded by a small group of royal guards from the kingdom and some secret service agents provided by the president, it will not take much for me to reach her and do whatever you want to her."

"No." Eggman says calmly on the other end with some sign of overconfidence in his tone. "You will instead wait to strike at her coronation."

"Doctor, with all due respect to your leadership, the coronation seems to be the worst time to attack since the entirety of the royal guards and all resistance groups and factions of Freedom Fighters from across the world will be there." The knight says as he questions his leader's decision. "Why attack at such a moment that's out in the open in front of everyone?"

"The attack won't be about finishing the princess off..." Eggman says as the knight could practically feel the evil grin on his face. ".....it's to send a message to the whole world that Sonic and his allies can do nothing to stop my goal of world domination. Your job will be to leave fear on Princess Sally's face that her days are numbered, and that Sonic and (your OC) can do NOTHING to save her."

"I see..." The knight replies back, realizing how the doctor thinks ahead, as well as the man liking to add theatrical elements to his plans. "Very well...let me know when we begin."

"Excellent." Eggman tells him on the other end. "Carry on with your spying on her, but don't attack her. Am I clear?"

"Yes doctor..." The knight nodded on his end before Eggman hangs up.

"Soon....you and Sonic will regret what you did to me a while back." The knight says as he glares in the distance at the chipmunk princess.
