Previously on Sonic UA...

You and our heroes were sent out to save Snowtop Village from the Iron King and Iron Queen.

The place was set ablaze as the heroes rushed to get everyone to safety.

After a major brawl between them, the Iron King and a brainwashed Monkey Khan, Iron King was defeated and Monkey Khan was freed.

Unfortunately, the Iron Queen was no where to be seen from the battle.

More heroes have joined the team as a result of the fight, assuring that the enemy does not get the drop on them.

But many mysteries still haunt the group, uncertain of who the hidden enemy is.

At this time, New Mobotropolis has been built, replacing the ruins of the original capital of the Mobian Kingdom.

Rebuilding has been going on elsewhere as well, as scars from Robotnik's reign are now faded history...

...for now at least.

How long will the Freedom Fighters have before the true enemy grabs a win under their noses?

Only time will tell.

Sally goes to the group. "As we speak, Nicole is going through some test runs on our systems to know how to multitask with it. I have a few missions for the team."

Sonic responds. "Go ahead and hit us with them, Sal."

Sally pulls up a holographic image of a map. "A small outpost has been spotted just outside our kingdom's borders. No one has looked yet to see if Robotnik left any reserve robots there. I need a team of 4 to investigate with a G.U.N squad that will help."

Fury groans. "Why them? They kinda hate my guts after all."

Sally sighs. "Since it's in human territory, we don't have the jurisdiction to check it alone. G.U.N Commander Abraham Hall has given us permission to do this carefully to avoid further conflict between us and the human nations."

Aura pats Fury's back. "It's for the best that we try to do this peacefully."

Sally continues. "I need another team of 4 to check out a region that's been behaving strangely since Nicole scanned it. A high level of magnetic waves have been radiating from the place."

Hip puts a metal hand to his chin. "That's a lot of energy in one place. I think that might be a scrapyard."

Sally smiles at Hip. "It is. How did you know?"

Hip shrugs. "I took general science and mechanics seriously sometimes."

Sally nods and continues. "And finally, two of you will check on the Hedgehog family home on Christmas Island. I can't detect Jules anywhere."

Sonic clenches his fists. "If Robuttnik or Iron Queen are behind this, I'll spin dash them int-"

Bopper holds Sonic back. "Hold on there, blue boss. They ain't getting hurt by no one."

Sally finishes up. "The catch is that I want you to go into teams with someone you don't normally team up with. This is to make sure everyone is used to each other and knows each other more."

Sonic gives a thumbs up. "Cool! I want to see what these new guys can do!"
