Shadow could feel an arrow of disgust and anger shooting through him. Not only that, but he could also feel annoyance inside of him. Turns out, he had encountered a certain someone being obsessive with him. Someone having an obsessive crush on him. But this hare... is the combination of both Aleyah and Rouge. But he had more respect for Rouge than Savvy because of her obsessive and seductive personality.

Once the others saw Savvy standing before them, Aleyah was the first to react. "Who are you?!"

"Oh, that's right. You didn't know my name. I'm Savvy the Hare," said the hare, then her eyes were now on Comono in their corner. "Now, Comono. If you'd be so kind to set them free for me?"

Comono was heard sighing in exhalation. You can hear him muttering under his breath, "In all honesty, I've got a bad feeling about this hare." That's when he made a thought to keep to himself. If I could set the others free, I'll tell them something's really going on with her. In private.
With that being thought, he used his spear to open the cell door the same way Langua did with Runa. Then, out came Aleyah, Tangle, Whisper, the five chao and Team Dark.

As Shadow walked outside the cell, his head turned towards Savvy's direction. She still had a seductive smirk on her face thinking that Shadow will give in her own ways of courting with him so soon. But in reality, a growl escaped his mouth. "Don't even think about laying a finger on me."

Savvy's expression changed into an innocent one with puppy dog eyes,"Aww, come on, Shadow. I'm just messin' with you." Then, her arms moved to wrap around him on his left side. "I hope you could go out with me soon. Maybe after this mission?"

"Tch. Dream on," he replied still in his serious tone.

"Please. I'll do anything for you if you come with me."

Shadow then, moved her arms away from his body and walked away without any hesitation. Savvy was about to step forward to continue courting with him when Aleyah stepped in and glared at her with her arms stretched out horizontally.

"How long have you been crushing on Shadow?!" she asked her angrily.

"It's none of your business, girly girl. Unless you tell me Shadow is mine," replied Savvy in her usual seductive voice.

"Never!"

In the background, you can see Comono going into deep thought. His telepathic waves could be seen going out of his head's direction and to the direction away from it like the rays of a sun.

Mystico was the first to notice, so he flew over to Comono and asked him, "Chao-chao-chao?" Roughly translated, "What is it?"

Now, it was Whisper's turn to notice that something's wrong with Comono. Her right arm was laid down with her Wispon still clenched in her hands. Her head slightly turned to him.

"Something wrong?" she asked him.

Comono was seen sending his thoughts to Langua in the dining room in her palace. How is it, Langua?

I never should've done that, Comono. This lion. I've got a bad feeling about this, Langua answered in thought.

With that being heard, Comono opened his eyes and his head turned to the others except Savvy. "Guys?"

All heads turned to him.

"Runa's in trouble."

Meanwhile with Langua and Runa...

"So, you already find out what I'm going to do with her, don't you?" asked the lion.

"Not really. But I have a feeling that you're gonna do more than just being a backstabbing jerk, Arrogan," answered Langua.

So the lion's name is Arrogan? Runa thought. Something about him feels... strangely familiar.

That's when she rose from her chair and moved around the table. Just as she was about to take a step forward to confront him, Langua also rose from her chair. "I'll help you, Runa. I'll keep you safe just as your family and friends keep you safe."

Then, an evil laugh was heard from the lion known as Arrogan. "I am not alone."

Both their heads turned to him in suspicion. "Who are with you the whole time?" asked Langua.

An evil chuckle escaped his mouth. "I'm glad you asked, Chief Langua."

With that being said, two more figures peeked out behind him. Then, the two made their full body appearance on both sides of him. Runa's eyes widened in fear and shock as the two figures were immediately recognizable.

On his left was Reuben the Black Cat and on the other side was a light yellow hedgehog that looks similar to Aleyah except for a few different features. Her quills laid down up until her hips. She has peach muzzle with matching arms. She has light blue eyeshadow and yellow-orange lipstick. her outfit was an orange silky dress that goes down up until her ankles, matching high heels and red-orange forearm-lengthed gloves.

Oh no, Runa thought.

Then, evil smirks appear on all three faces. The worst smirk — and I mean worst and creepiest smirk — came from none other than Reuben.

"Hey, sweet cheeks! Miss me?" Reuben waves his hand seductively.

Despite being creeped out by his actions, Runa manage to send a death dagger glare in his direction. But his hands raise to calm her down, but with no effect because she still had a death glare on her face.

"Woah, easy there, baby. We're just getting started," he said.

"Tch," she scoffed in disgust turning her head away from him.

Something tells me he might be too creepy for you, Runa. But I have no idea why, thought Langua.

"Is this true you're crushing on Shadow the Hedgehog, too?" the light yellow hedgehog asked Runa glaring a death dagger glare at her.

"What? No, I'm not. We're just friends getting to know each other," answered Runa.

"Tell me now! Are you and Shadow together?! Because if you are—!"

She pulled out the same knife that has been retrieved after the incident in the forest. She was about to lunge in and attack Runa, but Arrogan pulled her back. "No need to get it started, Bianca. This job belongs to me."

Then, her fiery raging expression turned into a normal one. She then, turned her direction to Arrogan. "Oh, right. Right."

That's when Bianca took a few steps back allowing Arrogan to confront her.

Runa's eyes sent a deadly glare on Arrogan. "What do you want with me exactly?"

"Well, you see..."

Then, Arrogan approached Runa. With his face closer to hers. His death dagger glare shot through hers. The next thing Runa could hear sent her in a traumatic fear.

"We — or perhaps, I — have been planning to destroy you."

Back with Comono and the others...

"Where is she?" Shadow asked Comono much to everyone's surprise.

"Probably in the dining room in the chief's palace. Come on. We have to save Runa," Comono told them gesturing them except Savvy to come with him.

"You guys go. I'll deal with this gothic jerk," Aleyah told the others except Savvy.

Once Savvy heard Aleyah's words, insult shot through her. She then, made her insulted expression on her face as she crossed her arms. "That's kinda insulting for a lady."

Aleyah's head then turned behind her still annoyed by Savvy's response. "What are you guys waiting for?! Go!"

Tangle, Whisper, Team Dark, he five chao and Comono nodded in response as they all headed over to the chief's palace to save Runa from whatever situation they're in.

Now, all that's left were Aleyah and Savvy.

You can hear seductive giggles escaping Savvy's mouth. "So it's just you and me now, girly girl."

Aleyah then, pulled out her rolled whipping belt. Then, she unrolled it and went into her fighting position. A mixed expression of anger and insult appeared on her face. "Don't call me 'girly girl ' or I'll whip ya with my belt!!!"

"Ah, feisty, are you? I like it," said Savvy in her seductive tone.

"Don't you dare sweet-talk me! Now, let's settle this one out!"

A giggle escaped Savvy's mouth. "Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this."

With that being said, the two started clashing with each other with a few Langcomm guards watching them.

Back with Runa...

Runa's eyes widened in shock. Tears of fear filled her eyes, but she managed to hold them in. Her jaw also dropped a little as traumatic fear struck through her. And so, she ended up listening to his words.

"Yes, Runa," said Arrogan as he moved his face away from hers, "This is my plan all along. But I never could've done it without an obsessive man stalking you and Bianca being Shadow's crazy obsession."

"Why would you do that?" Runa asked him.

"Well, I'm glad you asked," said Arrogan as he starts to explain the whole story. With his footsteps moving forward and Runa's moving backwards.

"It all started out a little over fifty years ago. I was new in the University of Science and Technology. I met your father and he's full of compassion at first. Since then, we became best friends. We're always lab partners in Chemistry class and Science class. We're also partners in almost every pair-up assignments. After we graduated, we still got along as brothers. I was Professor Lucas' assistant. But then, one day... thanks to his inventions, he became popular and everyone loved him. They no longer payed attention to me. Since then, I became jealous. I wanted him to pay attention to me and so should others, but they said we have to respect his privacy. And so I decided to get some help. Turns out, I already have."

People only loved him because of his compassion towards them, she thought. And how could you get some help when your jealous of my father, Arrogan? Wait, could it be?

"Yes, Runa. Although, I already have an inspiration from them. To grab everyone's attention. It all started when the Professor and I were invited by one of the counselors to help them with a debate."

In the background, you can see Comono at the wide-opened door to the dining room in the chief's palace. Behind him were Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Tangle, Whisper, Rosy, Mystico, Shania, Bearace and Juniper.

"What kind of debate?" Comono asked grabbing everyone's attention.

Once Arrogan turned to Comono and the rest of the group, an evil smirk appeared on his face as he turned to both Reuben and Bianca. Then, he gestured them to Comono and the others. "You see them?"

"Obviously," answered Bianca.

"Good. Now, tell me. Which one of them is the person Runa was created for?" asked Arrogan.

Now, as Runa turned to Comono and the others, she began to take courage on what she's really created for. Or should I say, who?

Before anyone could answer, Arrogan suddenly snatched Runa's amulet.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" asked Langua.

No answer escaped his mouth. Instead, Arrogan threw the amulet to the ground and smashed it into shattered pieces with his foot. In one time, everyone gasped in complete shock. The second time made it louder than the first. Then, the third and final time, they were all in total immediate shock. Especially Runa and the two Langcomns.

You can see his angry expression on his face as he looked up and turned to both Bianca and Reuben. "It is done" was all he could say.

Then all of a sudden, he was gripped on his furry chest by Langua. And her enraged expression shot at him. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, ARROGAN?!?!?! THIS AMULET IS OUR MOST SACRED ARTIFACT!!!!!"

"Uh, Langua?" Comono started attempting to make her listen to him respectfully.

Langua's head immediately shot at Comono, "Not now, brother!"

Then, silence.

In a split second, Langua's head turned back to Arrogan. "AND THIS AMULET IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ALL OF THE LANGCOMNS AND NOW, YOU SMASHED IT INTO PIECES?!?!?!"
"Langua? Can you—" Comono started.

Her head immediately shot her direction towards him again. "Why are you butting in, Comono?! Are you going to say something?!"

"The amulet Runa was wearing is the exact replica of the real amulet!" Comono finally answered her question.

Now, this is where every last head turned to Comono in shock. All including Arrogan, Savvy, Reuben, Bianca and even Shadow himself.

"What?" they all asked.

Comono sighed in exhalation and then, he began to explain the rest of the details after Professor Lucas came to ask for an amulet.

Meanwhile, with Aleyah and Savvy...

The two were still having conflict with each other when suddenly, Savvy looked over and saw that something she was having had come out of one of her hidden spots. Savvy attempted to quickly hide it while she's in the fight, but it's one second too late.

"You stole it?!?!" asked Aleyah glaring at her.

"I did what I have to do to make Shadow mine forever and ever. Sometimes, stealing can also lure him into my trap," replied Savvy.

"Are you serious, Savvy?! That's not how you pursue Shadow!!!"

"Then, come catch me first," said Savvy with a taunting smirk on her face.

That's when Savvy flipped over Aleyah's body beofre running to the right direction to the chief's palace.

"Hey!" said Aleyah glaring at her as she chased after her.

Back with Comono and the others...

"After Professor Lucas asked for our amulet, he said it's because it's the one thing to complete his experiment. A special experiment in which she has the same common powers as ours."

"An experiment?" asked Tangle, then her confused expression turned into a slight shocked one. "Wait, Runa is the experiment created by Professor Lucas?"

Shadow was also in shock to hear this from Comono. But he's also in a concerned expression, which was publicly noticed. She's... No... It couldn't be true... Is she really.... Is... Is she... really like me?

"He said there was someone currently asleep in an unknown location. Rumor has said that once this person is awakened, he will bring total destruction to the world, but Professor Lucas found it difficult to believe. That's why he's in the process of creating an experiment that could help him discover who that person really is. She'll also keep this person company once the discovery is done, then, she'll help everyone see the goodness left inside of him. All including himself. In public, they will know that she is created to help those who cannot defend the world on their own, so that things might not get conflicted and unbalanced once he finished working with his experiment. And so, we decided to create the replica of this amulet just to not get things in trouble. We gave the replica to him and he walked away. After that, I went to comfort Langua saying he's gone, but the details I was trying to tell her were ignored. A while ago, we were out there, hunting for the real amulet. Stolen by someone else. Langua was yearning to get it back, for she made a promise to protect it from evil. I thought greed and overprotection are growing inside of her, but she kept telling me and the others to focus on this mission."

As the others listened to their words, almost all their expressions were... completely shock. Well, all except Runa because she knew. She knew it from what she had discovered about the hidden purpose in her life. The ones who had the second-most complete shocked expressions were Bianca, Reuben and Langua.

Is she really...? Reuben thought.

No... No, it can't be true, Bianca thought.

Although, Langua felt like she knew, she was still in shock.

The one who had the most complete shocked expression was Shadow himself.

No. It just can't be. Runa is a scientific experiment just like me. But could it be true? Could it be that she's created... just for me? Shadow thought.

"And yes. The debate," Arrogan said moving Langua's hands away from him, then he continued walking towards Runa making her walk backwards. Again. "The debate on who Project: Shadow should be believed to be. A destructive weapon or something else good. They said Shadow is believed to be a threat to the whole world. Luckily for me, I have a plan. And yes, I started the rumor-spreading. About Project: Shadow, but I never specify about this science experiment except for the purpose I believed him to do. My plan is working. Except for one thing. Once your father heard about Project: Shadow, it's the complete opposite. He was curious on what he looks like, what his purpose would be and most importantly, knowing who he really is. And when he heard the rumor... he's struggling. And out of all the family members and those whom he cares about, he's the most-struggled person when it comes to believing what Project: Shadow can do. And so... the Professor no longer pays any attention to me. He only focuses on studying Project: Shadow despite being a secret science experiment. For ten years, we continued becoming friends and I was still your father's lab assistant. That is until that certain precious experimental daughter is brought up. That's right. I'm talking about you."

What's got to do with me, Arrogan? I know you're jealous about my father, but can you please tell me why I've never seen you before? Runa thought.

"It all started out when I peeked over the files about what he has been planning for the last ten years. Turns out, rage and anger fills my heart as I know what your secret purpose is. And perhaps, you must be realizing this before you're brought here."

Shadow, Runa thought. I'm created for Shadow.

This time, both Runa and Shadow knew the reason. The reason why Runa was created for Shadow. He wants Runa to discover who Project: Shadow really is. But she discovered him already, but it felt like she barely knew him. Especially his secrets. But it also felt like... she's going to help Shadow be the Shadow the Hedgehog she knows.

"That's right, Runa. It's Shadow you're created for. Your father is the very first person in this world to believe he can do good. Since then, I got so angry that I quit my job as his lab assistant and bitter for revenge. Since then, I manipulate other people to pursue my dream to break your connection with Shadow. And that includes Bianca and Reuben."
He then, started pushing her forward harshly and pinned her against the wall. Was he going to do the same thing he did a while ago? No. Instead, he had a blank expression on his face when he told me in a low voice only Runa could hear. "I'm sorry for your loss. Your best friend... and your father."

Wait, how did he...?

"How did I know?" he echoed Runa's thoughts. "Well, here's my tiny little secret."

He leaned over to her left ear and whispered to her, "I killed them."

An image of Clara's death ran through Runa's head. Then, the next thing that came to mind was one of the few unexplainable memories. But now, she understood it. It was about the time where she went on a mission with her new partner, Rocky. He happened to be a new recruit. She didn't trust him at first, but with Clara's help, she decided that any friend her special friend could trust was a friend of hers. They were sent on a faraway mission, but after finding out some kind of culprit faked it, they went back to home only to find her father's lab set on fire.

Runa ran inside to save him, even though Rocky pulled her back to keep her safe. But she didn't care. All that mattered was having her father by her side.
But then, Runa was suffocating to death as she got closer to Professor Lucas. That's when the lab exploded on fire and her body was pulled backwards.

As those memories ran through Runa's head, her eyes widened in horror. Then, for the first time ever, anger, fury and rage occured in her. This time, she became even more furious and angrier than before. And so, she ended up pushing Arrogan with all her strength. This caused him to step back a bit giving her some space.

"You monster!!! You murderer!!! How could you?!?!" Runa asked Arrogan furiously.

"How could I?! Do you even know why I planned to kill you?!" asked Arrogan.

"You killed them! My father! My best friend! You even caused a disaster in Space Colony ARK over fifty years ago!"

"Don't believe her lies!" Arrogan told the others.
"What did you just tell her?" asked Reuben.

"It's none of your business, Reuben," answered Arrogan, then he turned to Bianca, "Same to you."

"You told Runa there's something about her connection with Shadow! I've also heard about her two loved ones from the past! Tell us right now or we'll keep—" Bianca's right fists punched her other palm to threaten him in equal verve. "—crushing you until you're dust!!!"

Reuben nodded in definite response.

Arrogan's body turned to the two of them. Both Reuben and Bianca had their threatening glares on their faces. It's like they're serious and stern business partners and detectives wanting to know what's really going on.

Arrogan sighed in a hint of defeat, "Alright, then." He then, moved his head up to make contact with them. "I did it! I killed them!"

"Kill who?" Bianca asked him with a threatening glare still appearing on her face.

When Shadow heard all this, he was filled with rage. And not just any rage. He felt ultimate rage inside of him. Hearing this brought back that same tragic memory on what had happened over fifty years ago in Space Colony ARK. Once he recalled it, he was even more enraged he started lunging into Arrogan's direction.

"I killed— Aagh!"

Arrogan was suddenly cut off by Shadow kicking him in the stomach. His body was sent flying on the wall, then down to the ground. Now, his face made no contact with Shadow. Rather, he seemed to make contact with the ground.

Everyone including Reuben and Bianca gathered around behind Shadow while giving him personal space so that be couldn't feel the pressure of confronting Arrogan alone.

"Why?" Shadow asked Arrogan angrily. With an additional feeling of ultimate rage. "Why did you do it?"

You can see everyone else's confused expressions on their faces. All except Runa because she already knew. But then, their facial expressions turn into completely shocked ones.

"You killed Runa's father and best friend?!?!?!" Bianca asks in complete shock.

"Just like how my friends were killed?" Whisper asked angrily in a plain voice.

"Are you serious about this?! Tell us the truth!" said Tangle.

"Chao-chao," all the chao agreed with her.

"Listen. I can explain," said Arrogan.

"You've explained long enough. You told Runa about her connection with Shadow originated from Professor Lucas' compassion," said Reuben.

"Yeah! We already heard what you have said to Runa about your history before and during the disaster in Space Colony ARK!" stated Tangle.

"I..." Arrogan trailed off.

"Let's talk about finding the real Amulet of Communication! Tell us where it is right now!" Langua said angrily.

Before anyone could answer, a bust was heard from the door. Everyone turned around to see Savvy taunting Aleyah while holding up the real amulet.

"Yoohoo. Come and catch me~"

Once Aleyah saw the others, she told them, "Guys! There's a bad situation about the real amulet!"

Once everyone else saw the real amulet in Savvy's hands, they were all in total immediate shock. It's like they never seen a single thing coming. They cannot believe that psychopath would do such a thing!
