Chapter 12: Silver and Aleyah ~ Part 4
"What are we gonna do, Leyah?" asked Silver. "You know how to deal with her."
"Of course, but judging by her actions, it's gonna be hard for me to do so," said Aleyah. You can see her eyes facing down with her eyes half-opened.
Seeing her facial expression, Silver laid a hand on her left shoulder. "Hey, don't worry, Leyah. We'll be there for you when you need it. Even before you're ready to deal with a serious situation."
"Silver is right. Whatever happens to you, we got your back," Blaze reassured her.
Hearing those words of reassurance, Aleyah's lips stretched out a warm smile on her face. Then, her head turned to Silver, then to Blaze. "Thanks, guys. I really needed that."
"No problem," replied Silver.
Blaze nodded in response along with him.
"Are we ready to do this, Aleyah?" she asked her.
That's when Aleyah went on her battle pose with a determined expression on her face. You can see Silver's hand slipping away from her as she did so.
"I'm born ready, Blaze! Come on, guys! Let's have a serious deal with Bianca together!"
"You guys can go now. I'll clean up the table," Gardon told them.
The trio nodded their heads as they ran off to face Bianca with Gardon cleaning up the table.
Once Silver, Aleyah and Blaze were in front of Bianca, the first thing they could hear was a deep and raspy voice instead of her usual voice similar to Aleyah's. That, my friend, is actually a voice that's somehow strangely familiar to Silver.
"Seems like you found out the origins of your parents."
"Your parents are born from the future. One-hundred-sixty-four years from Sonic's time. They both met when they're nineteen years old, but your dad's age is obviously a year older than your mom. And now, you're about to know who your ancestor is."
"I thought you said they're born around one-hundred-and-seventy-three years from now," said Silver.
"Me too, though it's only my theory," said Aleyah.
"If you know who Aleyah's ancestor is, can you tell us now?" asked Blaze.
Then, in a split second, an evil raspy laugh was heard. This came to a moment for the trio to realize something shocking. And that hit them entirely.
"You're my ancestor?!?!?!" asked Aleyah in shock.
"I could ask you the same thing!" Silver told Bianca.
"Let me be the first to say this: I did not see that coming," said Blaze.
"Apparently, we all didn't," said Aleyah.
A new savage, raspy, signature evil laugh from Bianca was heard again.
"Join me, Aleyah. We'd make a pretty great team. But don't steal Shadow away from me! Though he and Runa seem close together, he's mine and MINE ONLY!!!"
"Hey! Why can't you just move on from Shadow to some other guy?" Aleyah asked her. "He doesn't like you the way you like him."
Bianca's death dagger eyes were now glaring into Aleyah's. It somehow made her feel creeped out. "And why is that, hmm?"
Silver and Blaze were in their fighting positions while Aleyah's feet started to walk backwards a bit, but Bianca kept going forward. Aleyah found herself standing there with her eyes looking at Bianca in fear. Despite that, she managed to get her words out, but she sounded like she's stuttering in fear when she said those words.
"W-Well... I've b-been s-suspecting something between Sh-Shadow and Runa. I thought they're going to be lovebirds, but my mind told me they're just friends. That's why. But I discovered something more between them. E-Even after R-Runa was c-c-created, who's always by his side no matter w-what it takes. I-I was mad at first, but I realized wh-what I have done, so I moved on to a new life."
Bianca's eyes were still glaring into Aleyah's when she asked her, "So you're saying you moved on?"
"Y-Yeah. I did," she said shuddering in fear.
Then, Bianca's glaring expression changed into an evil smirk. "Very well, then." That's when she turned her body away from all three of them. Then, the next thing they could hear is a mix of proud and pride expression in her voice. "Hahahahahaha! No one's ever gonna date Shadow except for me!"
Then, her pride and proud voice changed into a confused one. "Wait—" she turned to Aleyah with a glare fixed on her. "—Shadow and Runa are close together?"
"W-Well, y-yeah, so..." replied Aleyah.
As she suspected, Bianca's face became fiery red with rage igniting inside of her. "THIS IS JUST AS I SUSPECTED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!!!!! I'VE BEEN TELLING YOU A HUNDRED TIMES!!!!! SHADOW IS SUPPOSED TO DATE WITH ME AND NOBODY ELSE!!!!!"
That's when she lunged forward to attack Aleyah.
Aleyah pulled out her belt and make a whipping sound despite feeling fear on the inside. But just as she readied herself to threaten her with a whipping belt, Bianca suddenly stopped. Aleyah got a chance to look at the details on what's going on. Bianca's surrounded by a turquoise aura and it looks like she's being pulled back by it.
Aleyah immediately recognized this action. It's Silver pulling her back. That's when she and Blaze made their defensive battle stance in front of Bianca. With that, they all glared at Bianca's fiery rage.
"I offer you a request and this is how you respond to me?!" asked Bianca struggling to get out of Silver's Psychokinesis.
"You may have a crush on Shadow, but there are times when crushes don't feel the same with their admirers, so what you have to do is wait and see what he thinks of you," said Aleyah.
Then, something happened all of a sudden. Bianca was surrounded by flames over the turquoise aura surrounding her. Her eyes widen as she and Aleyah both realized at the same time.
"No. No! NO!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS, ALEYAH THE HEDGEHOG!!!!!" said Bianca, her last words before disappearing in the mist.
And that's how it's done. But it might not be over yet because Bianca might be in another dimension bittering for revenge. Aleyah could still hear flames on her right side. When she turned around, it just so happened to be Blaze. Her flames surrounding her entered her body before her feet was placed on the ground.
Aleyah felt like she's about to fall, so within a split second, she ran over to her and managed to catch her on her back.
"You okay, Blaze?" she asked her as she pushed her back on her feet, but gently as if to not let her fall on the opposite side.
"Yeah, I'm fine," replied Blaze. "It's been a while since I last used the Sol Emeralds to transport someone else to another dimension."
"Really?" Aleyah asked her in concern.
Blaze nodded in response. "At least I tried my best."
"Yeah," Aleyah pat her shoulder. "You're definitely improving your skills with the Sol Emeralds."
"Of course. You know I'm their guardian, right?"
"Yup."
Then suddenly, Aleyah was engulfed into a hug by Silver himself. "Woohoo, we did it! We saved the world! This time, with the help of Blaze!"
Aleyah was tensed up when she felt his arms wrapped around her, but due to some kind of feeling inside of her, she hugged him back. This time, she knew this feeling. It's like obsession, but it's rather... different. And yup. Runa always told her there's a difference between obsession and... love.
Could it be? Am I really falling for him? Aleyah thought.
After Silver engulfed her in a hug, he felt that same wierd warm feeling inside of him. This time, he knew the description, but the four-letter word was unexplainable. You can see a facial expression that indicates he's wondering about something. Could it really be? Am I really falling for her?
It lasts for a few moments until they broke the hug between them. This time, a warm and genuine smile appeared on Aleyah's face.
"Well, now that I found out the origins of my parents, we still have work to do," said Aleyah.
"What do you mean?" asked Silver.
"There may come a time when Bianca will return to seek revenge on us," she answered. Then, her left hand reached for her upper arm near her elbow. And she clenched it gently, but tightened it. Aleyah looked down in a hint of worry. "Especially me."
To Silver's reaction, he laid his hand on her shoulder. You can see his warm and reassuring smile on his face. "Don't worry, Leyah," he said in a comforting voice. "Whatever happens, we got your back. I got your back. And together, we can overcome anything."
Blaze nodded in response.
Aleyah turned her head towards Silver. Seeing how he still had a smile on his face, she returned it with a warm and genuine smile. "Thanks, Silver! I really need to hear that!"
"You're welcome, Leyah!" he replied.
With smiles on their faces, they both made eye contact. What Aleyah saw inside of him left her conflicted. Right before she sees something beyond him in his eyes, Blaze's clearing on her throat grabbed their attention.
"Alright. It's time I get you two home," she said.
Then, both Aleyah and Silver stood beside each other readying themselves to go back home — or should I say, back to the future?
Blaze reached out her hands with her flames flowing out of her body. Then, they surrounded her. The Sol Emeralds appeared around her, too. Then, to their surprise, they're all transferring to their surroundings. Silver and Aleyah looked around. The flames and the Sol Emeralds were surrounding them.
"When will you come back to see us again?" Silver asked Blaze.
Blaze let out a giggle in response, "Only when I have the time."
"I hope we could see each other again, Blaze!" said Aleyah.
"Me too, Aleyah. Me too," says Blaze. "Goodbye, my friends."
Silver and Aleyah waved back at her, then they both held hands and closed their eyes. A few seconds later, they knew this is the right time. They both opened their eyes in unison. This time, they found themselves back in the middle of the restored city in the future. But there may come a time when evil strikes the future again, plus they knew that one day, Bianca might return.
At this time, both Aleyah and Silver work alongside each other and work together to protect the future. A future for both of them.
