Little did Pearla know, while she's sending out these invitations to Sonic and his friends, one envelope was being pulled by the wind strong enough to take it to its current. Along with at least eight leaves. It flew from Forest Hill to a few cities and towns. Finally, the envelope flew in the park.

Once the wind died down, the envelope landed on Sonic's right foot. This simply caught his attention as he opened his right eye. Once he spotted the envelope, the wind was about to send it away again, but his hand managed to retrieve it before it happened.

He started opening the envelope and pulled out the paper. His eyes widened a bit at what he saw before him.

You are cordially invited to Runa's 16th birthday party and Aleyah's 14th birthday party. Please join us as we'll have a blast celebrating it!
Place: In a small cottage in Forest Hill
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Sonic never really expected himself to be invited to a birthday party. Then, his lips stretched out a smile on his face. "Sounds like an invitation to the party. I'd better tell the others."

With that being said, he sped off to inform the others about the invitation thinking that if he didn't, they would most likely worry about him.

But little did he know, the others had already received the same invitation in different ways.

Swinging by in the middle of the Restoration HQ was Tangle the Lemur. All happy and excited on what's gonna happen in her next adventure with her best friends. The others reacted in different ways as they saw her passing by. Most of them almost jumped at her sudden actions. Some feared a mess is gonna happen in a moment. Others wished to join in, but they had to focus on their own businesses.

Flying right from the distance was Jewel the Beetle holding out the same envelope in her hand.

"Tangle! I have something important to tell you!" she called out.

Tangle's feet had put her to a stop while turning her head to Jewel.

"What is it? Is Eggman attacking again?"

"Well, not really. But I do receive an invitation at the Restoration HQ door by someone named Pearla the Hedgehog," answered Jewel.

This had brought Tangle in excitement as a big grin appeared on her face. You can see four-pointed stars appearing in her eyes.

"Wait, there's an invitation?! Can I see it?!"

"Well, I think it will be better if you read it in my office," answered Jewel in a whisper only Tangle could hear.

"Alrighty!"

In the office...

Tangle took the envelope from Jewel, she opened the envelope Jewel had handed to her. Inside was a paper showing her the same invitation that was given to her by Sonic. After that, you can see an amazingly shocked expression on her face.

"We're invited to a birthday party?! That's so cool!!"

But then, her facial expression turned into a puzzled look. Because she had seen an additional note added in the invitation.

"But it says here only Whisper and I are invited and that it's okay if you won't come with us to the party. I don't know why is that."

"I guess it's because she knows how busy I am in the Restoration HQ," stated Jewel.

Tangle let out a snort, "Right. You're the current leader here." Then, a normal chuckle escaped her mouth.

Suddenly, someone busted the door open. Both Jewel and Tangle jumped to see Amy at the door looking excited. Behind her were Whisper the Wolf and Belle the Tinkerer.

"Oh, you guys! You won't believe it when you see this!" exclaimed Amy.

"You guys are invited to a birthday party too?!" Tangle asked excitedly.

"How did you know?" asked Amy quite surprised to hear this.

"Lucky guess."

"Someone named 'Pearla' sent us a list of people invited to the two sisters' birthday party in the Restoration screen. I'm pretty surprised Shadow's on that list," stated Amy.

"Shadow?" Belle asked Amy.

"Don't worry, Belle. You'll find out who he is when we get there."

"Okay..." replied Belle a bit timidly.

"Well, in that case, that'll be his chance to become social!" said Tangle giving her a thumbs up and a wink.

"Don't push him to the limits, Tangle. Just give him time," Whisper told her in a soft voice.

"Don't worry, Whisper. I'm sure I'll let him do it naturally."

"Well, I don't mind attending the party, but we certainly have to make an announcement to the whole Restoration about the invitation," said Jewel. "Then, we will manage things before we make a final decision."

"I agree. They need an update on what will be going on with us this evening," replied Amy.

With that being said, they all went to prepare an announcement to make for all the Restoration.

In Tails' workshop, he received the same invitation that was also given to him by Pearla. Just then, Sonic ran into his workshop telling them that he'll go to the party of two sisters.

"Hey, Sonic! I received the same invitation! Can I come, too?" Tails asked him.

"Of course! We'll totally have fun there!" answered Sonic. "Oh well, gotta go for a run."

Then, he took off to ask the others, one by one, if they received the same invitation.

With Tails, once Sonic sped off, his hand reached out to him because he wanted to say something to him, but then again, he knew he got something to do. Nonetheless, he prepared himself to go to the cottage in Forest Hill.

In Floral Forest Village, Cream, Gemerl, Vanilla, Cheese and Chocola were doing their usual routine in their house when they received the same invitation through Gemerl's software.

"An invitation to a birthday party? That's so nice of them!" Cream complimented.

"Chao-chao," Cheese agreed.

"Let's pack your bags, Cream. We're all going to the cottage this evening," said Vanilla with a kind-hearted smile on her face.

"Affirmative," replied Gemerl.

"Yay!" Cream said making one jump for joy.

"Chao-chao!" Cheese and Chocola exclaimed happily with their arms raised in the air.

In Angel Island, Knuckles was sitting ontop of the staircase reading the same invitation Pearla had given him. It crossed his mind to think it could be a trick from someone in order for the Master Emerald to be stolen again. After a few moments of thinking, he decided to prepare for it to be secured, thus preparing himself to attend the two sisters' birthday party.

In the Chaotix Detective Agency Office, Vector got a call from someone named Pearla the Hedgehog saying that they're cordially invited to the two sisters' birthday party and she told him the same details from the invitation card. After that, he hung up and Charmy asked him,"What's the problem, Vector?"

"It's no problem, Charmy. We're invited to a birthday party!" he answered happily.

"Oh yeah! A party!" Charmy cheered, overjoyed to hear it.

"Who, where and when are we celebrating?" Espio asked him leaning on the wall with his arms crossed. You can tell his eyes were full of curiosity while the rest of his expression was all blank.

"We're celebrating Runa's 16th birthday and Aleyah's 14th birthday at the same party. It will be held in a cottage nearby Forest Hill and we're gonna go there today from 6pm to 8pm," explained Vector.

"Alright! Let's do this!" said Charmy flying near the other two in excitement as he and the others got ready.

Meanwhile, in Forest Hill, Rouge was flying across the skies looking for Shadow. Once she found him standing on the platform above the trees, her lips stretched out a small smirk on her face as she swooped in and landed on the same platform. Once she landed on her feet, she gave Shadow some personal space.

"So this is where you are, Shadow. I've been looking for you all morning."

"What do you want with me?" Shadow asked her bluntly.

"Well, I happened to encounter a light yellow hedgehog named Pearla and she gave me the invitation to her two children's birthday party. I asked Omega if he wanted to join and he said, 'yes.' It'd be nice for you to come to their birthday party as well."

"Pass," he said flatly.

"Figured. Although, someone named 'Runa' added that she felt like you're not big on parties and she deeply respects your privacy, but she also said that her younger sister, Aleyah insisted that you should come. You wouldn't want to disappoint your fan, would you?"

Now, this had brought Shadow to a surprise. No words came out of his mouth because he had heard Rouge's words about a fan inviting him to a party. Not only that, but he's also quite shocked to hear about someone named 'Runa' respecting his privacy deeply. Some part told him that he should go to the party just to meet her in person. After about a few moments of going into deep thought, he sighed in defeat.

"Fine. I'll go."

Somewhere in Blaze's dimension, she was standing before the railings on the balcony in the Imperial Palace when Gardon came in.

"Um, excuse me, Princess Blaze?"

"Yes, Gardon. What is it that you need?" Blaze asked him.

"Well, there's an invitation given to me by someone named 'Pearla the Hedgehog ' passing from Sonic's dimension to here. It's about celebrating the birthday of her two children. I'm not really sure why though, but either way, I think it must be one of the girls' idea to invite you to their birthday party. Marine will keep watch just in case something happens here in the Sol Dimension."

"Hmm..."

After a few moments of thinking, Blaze finally turned her body to Gardon. "Well, in that case, I think I could use it as a little break from my princess duties. I'm sure you'll do great when you take over. And I'm sure Marine will do great, too"

"Of course, Princess Blaze."

With that being said, Blaze went to prepare herself to attend the two sisters' birthday party. Then, she went out and decided to meet up with Marine in the docks to have a brief talk with her about the party she's going to attend. After that, she went to Sonic's dimension to go to the cottage in Forest Hill, but not before Marine waved goodbye to her.

Somewhere in the future, Silver received the same invitation for unknown reasons with an addition to time travelling to the past. After a few moments of going into deep thought, he used his powers to travel back to the present.

Meanwhile, with Sonic, he went from place to place to tell his friends that he got an invitation. Whenever he found one (or some), they said they had the same invitation. After a few conversations, he sped off to another place looking for another friend. After the whole situation, he sped off to a party.
