TAILS POV

Sonic sent a shockwave and sent me flying.

I Zoomed back to Sonic and gave him a Tail smack.

Sonic went flying and teleported behind me.

He punched me in my back, then gave me a double-axe handle and slammed me down on the ground.

He prepared a Spin Dash and zoomed in my direction.

I moved out of the way, and kicked his spin dash away.

I also gave him a spin dash of my own.

He stopped it and we were face to face.

" What's wrong with you, Sonic?" I asked.

" ....." Sonic said nothing.

" Speak!!" I pleaded.

" Your beginning to act like Shadow. All cold and Dark, when you know you care about me, Knuckles, ........ and Amy." I said.

" ......Be QUIET!!!!!!!" Yelled Sonic.

He punched me hard enough to knock me out of my super form.

I was done.

I didn't think I would be killed by my best friend.

"......" I was speechless.

" Hey!" A dark voice called.

It was Shadow ?

" Shadow?" I asked.

" It's not over." Shadow said.

" WHOOOOOOOOOOPA!!" Shadow yelled.

He went Super without the chaos emeralds.

" Sonic, I want a rematch." Shadow said as he helped me up.

" Fox boy, Thanks." Shadow said.

" ENOUGH!!" Sonic Yelled.

" Time to die, guys." Sonic said.

" Chaos Control !!" Yelled Shadow.

" Light Chaos Spear!" Said Shadow.

Shadow shot some sort of light energy through Sonic's heart.

With the snap of two fingers, Sonic was back.

Shadow reversed into his normal state.

" Sonic?" I asked.

Shadow crossed his arms making his normal face.

Sonic put up a thumbs up.

" Phew..." I said.

" Let's go home, Amy's waiting. " I said.

" Man, she's gonna be so mad.." Sonic said.

We laughed, except Shadow.

But he did smirk.

Maybe he's not so dark after all.
