"Where did you find it?" Gold asked Marine.

"I don't know. I just found it in that corner," she answered, pointing at the corner in Aleyah's northwest. "I don't know how it got here in the first place."

"Let's investigate it before we know information about this orb," suggested Blaze. "It could be dangerous in the wrong hands."

"I agree with ze princess," said Schlemmer.

"Yeah. It might affect the dimensions we're originally from," said Silver.

But as the words went on further, Aleyah's eyes were fixed on the orb for some reason. There's something about this orb. It somehow felt... strangely familiar especially when it comes to its interiors. Memories of times with her parents started running through her head. All including the time when she was playing hide and seek with her family, plus Rosy and Mysrico. In the end, Aleyah ended up meeting Bearace and Juniper. She then, gave them friendship collars just in case she had a pet or two herself. Bearace's is red with a bowtie on it while Juniper's is purple.

"Leyah. Leyah? Leyah!"

Aleyah blinked her eyes a few times to completely snap herself out of it.

"Huh?"

She whipped her head around to look at her surroundings. "Oh, uh..." She turned to her right to see Silver. "What are we talking about right now?"

"We're talking about how this orb works," he answered.

"Oh, right," said Aleyah, rubbing her nape in embarrassment. "There's something about this orb that pulls me into recapping my memories about times my family. One including playing hide and seek. That's where I first met Bearace and Juniper when Runa introduced me to them."

"Do you remember anything else?" Blaze asked her in concern.

"Yes. That time, I have two collars just in case I get a pet myself. One is red and another is purple. But I risked my life to give Runa the collars. You all know what color they're wearing, right?"

"Yeah, nope," replied Marine.

"You weren't in Aleyah and Runa's birthday party that time, Marine. I noticed that Bearace's collar is red with a bowtie and Juniper's being purple," Blaze told Marine.

"Oh, right. I almost forgot about your information though. If you ask me, I've been protecting this dimension from pirate attacks," said Marine.

"That's okay! Everyone can be busy at times, especially when it comes to assignments and things to do in a daily schedule," said Aleyah.

Silver's hand suddenly shot ahead in her direction. "Wait, what were you saying when your eyes are fixed on the orb?"

"Something about this orb pulls me to recap my memories?" Aleyah answered questionably. "Why?"

"Look at this!" he said as he rubbed the orb.

The next thing they saw before their eyes were the times in Blaze's dimension. One of which Blaze and Sonic were on a quest to restore balance in the two worlds. Next were the memories of a few moments between Silver and Blaze, then Marine's adventures with a certain friend of hers. Lastly, Aleyah's memories appeared. This time, she remembered every inch and every moment of her memories.

After all is revealed, everyone's eyes widen in realization.

"This isn't just any orb," said Aleyah as she turned to the others. "It's the Orb of Memories!"

The idea of looking into the orb to recap memories is nice, but those who have dark pasts can also be traumatized by them. It may be one of the coolest artifacts in this world, though the Jeweled Scepter and the Sol Emeralds originated here, but like those two artifacts, it could be dangerous. Especially the fact that there's a hint of destruction and mental breakdown in everyone's brains especially those with dark pasts.

Then, all of a sudden, an idea popped in Aleyah's head.

"Hey, if this orb can recap our memories by just looking at it, what if it has something to do with my parents?" she asked them.

"Your parents? What's got to do with them?" asked Marine.

Silver started to explain the time he talked with a mysterious stranger in a black hood before he, Aleyah, Gold and Schlemmer ended up in Blaze's dimension through the Genesis Portal. Turns out, Marine's reaction was more of a shocked expression, but still tried to keep herself calm just because she doesn't want to disappoint any fan like Aleyah.

After the explanation, Silver turned to Aleyah. "If the orb is capable of recapping memories of your parents, how are we gonna find out the truth if they're not here?"

She shrugged in response, "I don't know, Silver." Then, she turned to Blaze. "Do you?"

"I don't know. I'm just as curious as you, Aleyah," said Blaze.

"I could say ze same," said Schlemmer.

"Same here," said Gold.

"Well, only one way to find out," said Aleyah as she rubbed the orb once again. After that, she found herself letting words escape her mouth. "Bruce and Pearla the Hedgehogs."

That's when she started looking deeper into the orb and explored their origins.

Their love story between her parents started when they first met in the peaceful part of the future 183 years from the present in Sonic's time. Their families in different households were very strict that they forced both of them to marry someone else, but they secretly hung out with each other. When Bruce confessed his feelings to Pearla and she accepted, their families became even stricter that they wanted to break both of them up. One night, when Bruce proposed to Pearla five years later and she accepted, their families gave them one punishment: "To send them separately in the past." But that didn't stop them from being together, so when they met again, they held themselves a secret marriage and when Bruce was 27 and Pearla was 26, that's when Aleyah was born. Together, we lived like a happy family. Sometime around 12½ years later, they took Runa in and cared for her as an adoptive sister.

After Aleyah finished exploring their history, a soft gasp escaped her mouth and her eyes widened in shock.

"What is it, Leyah?" asked Silver, his eyes full of concern. You can see the other looking at her with a concerned look on their faces.

Aleyah then, handed the orb back to Marine before sighing in exhalation. Then, while the latter put the orb back where she got it, Aleyah rose into a standing position. Then, she waited for Marine to get back to the group.

After that, she informed them, "My parents. They're born from the future."

All shocked faces were shot directly towards Aleyah.

"Mein goodness!" said Schlemmer.

"They're born from the future?! Seriously?!?!" asked Silver.

"That means you're meant to be from the future, too," said Gold.

"But... h-how?!" asked Marine.

Aleyah shrugged in response. "I don't know, Marine. I'm just as curious as you."

"How many years from now?" asked Blaze.

"Probably around 173 years from now, but the two first met ten years later," answered Aleyah, then her right index finger and thumb moved to her chin with her right elbow laying on her other hand. Her index finger and thumb could be seen pinching her chin gently in thought. "But the question is... who is our ancestor?"

Before anyone could answer, a rumbling earthquake occurred again.

"Oh no. It's happening again!" said Aleyah.

"What's happening again?!" asked Marine.

Then, right behind Blaze was yet another Genesis Portal. Everyone gripped each other's hands. All in a chain position. But the portal was too strong it began to pull them all in.

Soon, they'd arrived on the other side of the portal. The surroundings were filled with technology, metal and this place was somehow familiar to Silver, Gold and Schlemmer. The whole group once again landed on their bellies. This time, they're more conscious than they were last time. Once they're in the process of getting up, both Silver and Aleyah were the first ones to notice what's in front of them. Then, the others became next.

"You again?" Silver groaned.

Right before them was the same black-hooded person Silver saw when hewas asleep the night before he called Schlemmer and Gold.
