Later on...

Silver, Aleyah and their group were now in battle stances. They had found themselves face-to-face with the black-hooded person known as the mysterious thief.

"Ah, just in time for some 'friendly' meeting," the thief said.

"Why do you want to steal Christmas?" asked Blaze.

"We want answers! NOW!!!" yelled out Aleyah.

"I told you, it's none of your business. Unless you guess my secret identity, I will tell you the reason why," said the thief.

You can see Silver's eyes looking down in careful deep thought. His eyes were closed. After a few moments, his eyes opened and turned to the mysterious thief with determination. "I don't know who you are, but you're gonna get naughty for stealing Christmas."

"Naughty, eh?" the mysterious thief asked as he took off the hood.

Everyone was in shock. The ones with the most extreme shock were Silver and Aleyah. "EGGMAN NEGA?!?!?!?!?!"

The mysterious thief, now known as Eggman Nega, smirked at their reactions. "That's right! Me!" he said.

That's what Eggman Nega looks like? Gold asked Silver telepathically.

Yes, Silver thought back to her.

"No wonder I felt familiar with that voice!" said Aleyah still in shock, then her right index finger moved to her chin. "Well, only for a little bit."

"I should have known zhat you were trying to steal Christmas to make everybody hate each other and cause destruction to ze vhole world," stated Schlemmer.

"Hee-hee-hee-hee! Right you are, mister scientist!" he said as he pointed at Aleyah. "And I'm assuming your name is Leyah."

"No, Nega!!! Leyah is just a nickname Silver gave me! My real name is Aleyah!!!" she yelled at Eggman Nega.

"Very well then, Aleyah. Well, if you wanna retrieve those gifts, come and get me! Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee, hee-hee!" he said as he ran off with a big sack of presents.

Silver turned to Aleyah, Gold, Blaze and Schlemmer,"Come on, guys! Let's follow him!"

They nodded as the quintet chased after him. And while they chased, Silver decided to turn on the communicator to speak to everyone except the rest of his group.

"Guys! There's no need to inform me and Aleyah. We found out who the mysterious thief is!"

Immediately, Sonic answered through his communicator, "Wait, you did?!"

"Yes! The mysterious thief is known as Eggman Nega," he answered.

You can hear everyone exclaiming through their communicators, "WHAT?!?!"

"But... But how?!" asked Knuckles.

"Uh, I hate to interrupt, but who iz the Eggmam Nega you are all talking about?" asked Antoine.

"Eggman Nega is the descendant of Dr. Eggman. He desired to destruct the whole future world. Two-hundred years from now," said Tails.

Three pairs of eyes widened in shock upon hearing who Eggman Nega is.

"Oh mah! That's no good!" exclaimed Bunnie.

"I know, right. How can someone like Eggman Nega be behind all this?" Tails asked through his communicator.

"Yeah, I thought it was Dr. Eggman, but Eggman Nega?! That's not good!" exclaimed Charmy.

"Yeah, who knew he could cause so much destruction?" replied Amy.

"Does that mean we'll never celebrate Christmas?" asked Cream.

"Choo-choo!" Cheese and Chocola said.

"I hope it doesn't, Cream 'cause Silver and Aleyah are gonna put a stop to this," said Sally.

"I agree with Sally. I know they're gonna come through in the end," said Nicole.

"Nega wants to steal Christmas to cause everyone of us to hate each other and destruction to the whole world, so that there'll be no more future for us," explained Silver.

"I should've known Eggman Nega will do something like this," said Rotor.

"Yeah, me neither," said Sonic.

"Same to you," said Shadow.

"Yeah, no kidding," said Vector.

"I don't know much about Eggman Nega, but whoever that person is, he must be an enemy," said Destinee.

"Yes, he is", Silver confirmed. "I gotta go, guys. I'll call you for backup when needed."

With that being said, Silver hung up and continued chasing after Nega with the others.

With Tails, he had a brief conversation with everyone except Silver and his group.

"We have to regroup in Central City and prepare to give Silver and Aleyah some backup when they need it."

"Tails is right. We need to regroup and give them backup when they need it. I'm sure they can handle the rest," said Espio.

That's when all of them (except Silver, Aleyah and Blaze) headed over to regroup in Central City.

Back with Silver and Aleyah...

Later on, the group found themselves face-to-face with Eggman Nega in his new and large mech with a serpent's head and wings of the devil. You can see dark red colors all over it with yellow eyes. They readied their battle stance as they made a death glare at him.

"Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee! You're too late, Silver! Now that I have all those presents, I'm going to put a blame on everyone else and make them hate each other. Then, everything will go exactly as I planned!" he said in his mech.

"I won't let you get away with this, Eggman Nega! I'm sure we'll save the world in time," said Silver.

"Oh, that's what you think? Give it your best shot to defeat my Egg Demon!" replied Eggman Nega as he crossed his arms smirking evilly.

"Ze Egg Demon? Hmm..." said Schlemmer as he scanned for its weaknesses through scientific calculations.

The turquoise aura surrounded Silver as he started floating. He used all his strength to punch the middle of the Egg Demon, but the force pushed him backwards.

"Silver!!!" yelled out Aleyah as she ran to catch him.

When Silver unintentionally fell in Aleyah's arms, he turned to her with thankfulness in his eyes.

"Nice catch, Leyah!" he complimented smiling.

"That's what friends are for!" said Aleyah placing him down.

After Silver pushed himself back up, Blaze, Schlemmer and Gold noticed the whole situation. Their eyes widened a bit seeing what really happened, so they turned to Silver and Aleyah.

"That Egg Demon must've had the strong force field, so that no one will be able to defeat it," she told them.

"Silver, use your psychokinesis to lift me up and give it a hit," Aleyah told him.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked her in concern.

"More than sure!" she said, smiling determinedly.

Silver slightly turned to Gold for confirmation. You can't miss a determined look on her face as she nodded. As she did so, the one thought running through his head was this. There's no other option left, Silver.

After a few hesitations, Silver nodded in agreement. "O-Okay. Here goes."

That's when Silver used his psychokinesis to lift Aleyah up. When she readied her moves, he knew that it was his cue to move her directly to the forcefield and that's when she made a kick to it, but it bounced her backwards making Silver lose his concentration on his psychokinesis.

Seeing Aleyah falling, he flew himself towards her and caught her in his arms. When Aleyah felt herself in his arms, her eyes made contact with his, not knowing what to say. You can't miss a blush on her cheeks.

That's when Silver floated back to the scene and placed her down. Then, they both regrouped with Blaze.

"Don't worry. I got this one," Blaze told them.

That's when she used her fire powers to destroy the force field. Turns out, the mech surpassed the flames because the forcefield was there. The trio even gave everything they've got at once, but unfortunately, no luck. Gold and Schlemmer tried to find the Egg Demon's weakspot. Unfortunately for them, no weakspot was seen.

And then...

"I'm sure it could be anywhere. Itz just hidden under one of zhose pieces," said Schlemmer. "I'm sure of it."

"Hee-hee-hee! Well, then. I'm sure you don't know about the all-power-proofed force field. Once you're defeated, nothing can stop me!" he said.

That's when Silver Blaze and Aleyah got up slowly and determinedly.

"I won't... give up... on our mission... to save Christmas!" said Silver.

"He's... r-right! It is our mission... to save everyone's future! You've been ruining... everyone's lives... to destroy it!" said Aleyah.

"And even though your force field back us down," said Blaze as they got up completely. "We'll keep on fighting."

And you know what?

They. Tried. Everything.

Meanwhile...

Tails and the others regrouped in Central City to discuss the situation while looking for Eggman Nega. After that, they headed over to look for him, Silver, Blaze, Gold, Schlemmer and Aleyah. A while later, they found them, but kept their distance knowing that they can handle this and that they'll be in action when needed.

Back with Silver, Aleyah and Blaze, they kept fighting, but it only made them exhausted. The more they fought, the more exhausted they became. Gold and Schlemmer were still watching in deep concern.

That evening, they panted from all the fighting. Gold and Schlemmer quickly rushed to the trio and kneeled a few centimeters from them.

"Are you guys okay?" Gold asked in concern.

"We tried to find his weakness, but itz nowhere to be found," said Schlemmer.

"I... can't... keep this... going," Silver panted.

"It's like we've been fighting... all... over... again," Aleyah panted.

"I was... thinking... of the same thing. Fighting... can be exhausted sometimes," Blaze panted.

"Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee! Rest while you can, my nemesis 'cause by the time we fight, my plan will be all completed!" said Eggman Nega.

Suddenly, by the time the group were about to give up and as Eggman Nega was about to run away to complete his plans, a light shone upon them in the sky. It even got the attention of the others.

"Everyone, look!" Tails said pointing at the light.

As soon as everyone turned to it, they all shielded their eyes. Including Eggman Nega himself. After that, he, Gold and Schlemmer turned to the trio and were shocked about what he just saw.

"Woah," Gold said in awe.

"Where did zhey..." Schlemmer trailed off.

"What?!" said Eggman Nega. "Impossible!! How did you...?"

It was the fact that the light that shone upon them gave them great power. A power that's never felt this great before.

"I don't know," replied Silver.

He was seen with his body being a lighter shade than the one in a Super Form. Same goes with Aleyah. As for Blaze, her body was a lighter shade of Burning Blaze, but without the Chaos Emeralds.

"But I've never felt so much power before," said Silver.
